I walked by the stand for two days and my partner said let's get some. We both got the MUNCHIE BUSTER BOWL and it was amazing. We had different topping and was able to customize it. The display of chocolates was completely mesmerizing and contained a wide variety of truffles and handmade candy bars. The shop owner was very friendly and also gave recommendations on what to try. I tried only two truffles because I was so full from all the foods I tried before: Lavender Hand Rolled Truffle: The truffle itself was very dense and rich with a strong presence of cocoa. Every bite melted in my mouth just like any good quality chocolate. What ruined this one was the lavender flavoring which was so overpowering that all I could taste was cocoa and lavender. Vietnamese Cinnamon Hand Rolled Truffle: I really enjoyed this one. The cinnamon and honey in the truffle paired perfectly with the strong cocoa flavor and the chocolate itself was very rich. If I was ever in the area again, I would probably come by to try their handmade candy bars and white chocolate items.

Nice little family-run business. I've seen it many times but finally decided to stop in for some…read morequarantine supplies, er, Easter candy. They had plenty of standard items, plus a bunch of things for Easter. Bunnies, crosses, etc., in various shapes, sizes, milk/dark chocolate, etc. I had to get a bunny for Baby K, of course, and she liked it. No sugar free, so nothing for my mom (though dark chocolate would be better for diabetics.) They had just made peanut butter eggs, so one of those for Sweetie. And then I had to keep myself from getting one of everything for me. Ended up with eagles (turtles,) toffee, and bacon brittle. The eagles are excellent: rich chocolate, good caramel and nuts, one is enough but you will want more. The toffee is good, pretty hard so none for Baby K or anyone with bad teeth, wrapped in rich dark chocolate. Haven't tried the brittle yet, but come on, bacon, you know I had to get some. Yeah, yeah, there are peanuts in there, too. I bought too much, and yet am afraid I will run out too quickly. Prices are a little high but you get what you pay for- this is good stuff. Glad to see local businesses making it through this. Glad this place is here. I'll be back. Note: the sign says Eagle Family Candy, not John Eagle, and it's a tiny place so use GPS and be careful. Oh, and speaking of careful, good safety procedures here, with hand sanitizer on the counter and minimal contact. But, it is small, so it would get crowded easily. Only open 11-4 currently.

There is false marketing in the store because there is a huge sign that says free samples inside and my children rushed to get the samples but were sadly disappointed when they came to realize that the store did not actually give free samples. The ambiance in the store was rude and negative and was not an experience I enjoyed. The children said the candy was good but I believe it was overpriced and they were out of stock with many items. They seemed annoyed when the children walked in which made them very upset. I overall did not enjoy this experience and neither did my children.

We looked around quite a while then found what we wanted. Some prices were a little high, but most were very reasonable. The lady in there was very friendly and willing to answer questions. She even tried to give a discount card, which I gave to my daughter and fiancé. Now, the look is different from the taste. We were disappointed. The stuff seemed older and very dry. The chocolate on the malted milk balls tasted like the cheap stuff you get at the dollar store. We probably won't go back even if in town. But maybe it was the stuff we picked, so check it out yourself.

Walking in was pure nostalgia, taking me back to my middle school days in the 20teens when froyo was all the rave. Personally I think the vanilla based flavors are the best so I went with birthday cake and cheesecake. They have a wide variety of toppings to throw on top of your yogurt like cheesecake bites, brownies, sprinkles, m&ms, fruits, and so much more. The whole concept of fro-yo is self serve so you can choose as many or as little toppings and yogurt you would like. The only thing that was a little annoying was there were no sample cups to try the flavors. It was a little annoying having to go ask for it especially when they only give you one cup to try different flavors. I definitely preferred my experience at orange leaf compared to menchies. I can see myself coming back for my annual fro-yo fix lol! P.S. they have no weigh Wednesdays now during the winter!
