Anthony amazed me again! This time with the color and cut. My hair was a pale blonde as a result of me coloring it myself. There were dark patches everywhere. It's been like this for years! After the great Brazilian Blowout he gave me a few months ago, I trusted him to recolor my hair and he did not disappoint. I've gotten my hair done by Shea twice now, and thrilled with how she's done my hair. I've always been getting highlights, so I can appreciate how tricky it can be to do a good blonde. She gave me the exact tone I wanted and did a wonderful job. My first appointment was a partial, and the second a full, and I was pretty impressed with how quickly, yet carefully, she was able to get it done (I have fine hair but a lot of it so it always takes a long time!). She's meticulous with the foils but also efficient, and she takes extra caution to make sure my hair stays healthy. Highly recommend!! read more

I hate having to do this because it wasn't the salon, it was a particular hairdresser at the salon but I need to warn people. I had one of my worst experiences at a hair salon this weekend. I had booked an appointment with Tatum. We had texted days before about how I wanted to do a full highlight and be blonder, as well as hand tied extensions. She seemed extremely enthusiastic that she knew how to do it all and could do it Saturday. I came in Saturday and immediately right off the bat she had a bit of a bad attitude. I had a bad feeling and felt like I should leave but I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. I had gotten a partial highlight about a month and half ago but I was wanting a full highlight to be blonder. That experience was going just fine, however, after she dried my hair after bleaching it I immediately noticed bleach lines all over the sides of my head. She had also gone super far down with the bleach to pieces of hair that didn't need to be bleached making them white. I expressed my concern over the banding and lines from the bleach and whiteness at the bottom. She agreed that there was significant banding happening and we would do a root smudge to break up the lines and then tone the ends so they weren't white. I wasn't super happy about this but I understand things happen and she was going to fix it. After washing out the root smudge and drying it. Again I noticed on one side of my head there was a significant dye line where she did not blend it at all. I asked her what could have caused that and she annoyingly admitted that she must have not combed it all through. At this point she was extremely rude to me grabbing my head telling me to move it back etc. I explained to her I desperately needing to fix this, I couldn't leave with dye lines on my head. She was super rude saying that it would eventually wash out or that she could rebleach. This was super upsetting as I just sat through 4 hours of bleaching and was scared for my hair. Then she tells me she won't have time to do my extensions. At this point I'm trying to be nice but I'm telling her she has to do my appointment and it's literally only taking this long because she's messed up my hair twice. She keeps being rude and saying things like "well I'm just trying to be nice to you" which I think is condescending since I'm literally just asking her to fix her mistake. We end up rebleaching and doing a new root. The color did end up looking nice. It's a little darker than I originally wanted since I had come in for a full highlight. But I will say she did fix it and it looked nice. Now comes the extensions. At this point I'm just not saying anything because I just wanted to leave with my hair safely on my head. She started from the top of my head down which was a little odd for me. She seemed to be struggling quite a bit. After we got them all on my head I noticed pieces falling off already. I had her try and tighten them. The hair felt off to me but at this point I didn't want to rock the boat anymore. I paid full price and even gave her a good tip. Less than 24 hours later I had multiple pieces of extensions coming out and half of one of my wefts hanging off my head. I ended trying to text her about it but honestly I didn't want to go to her again. I ended up going to another girl who was super helpful. She took photos of my extensions that look completely mangled as well as it seems the previous girl had run out of the right type of extension bead and was using the wrong beads on the second half of my head. I understand that things happen and sometimes hair doesn't turn out exactly as you'd like but the continuous mistakes that seemed to be made out of either not having the knowledge or not caring was extreme, as well as the disrespect and rudeness she showed to me as a client. I was always kind and tried to be understanding but I needed to write this to warn other people. read more

Anthony and his assistant stylist Jeffery were very professional, skilled, friendly, and also had me laughing with their great sense of humor! I had an amazing experience at Anthony's Salon last week when I recieved the best Brazilian Blow Dry of my life by the owner, Anthony himself. He was the consummate professional and has a great sense of humor. I can verify that, this Brazilian was the real thing and not just a Keratin treatment in disguise. You can tell by the smell and the result after washing that it was the original treatment. Stylists must take a course to be able to even buy the product so don't let them fool you. Anthony was well prepared for my appointment and had a special room with an air purifier and fan installed for just this purpose. Anthony and his pleasant and super competent assistant, divided my head in half and applied the solution to each side and then flat ironed it. The whole process took two hours instead my usual three to four and it did not hurt. The quality control was there. Every hair on my head was treated. Three days later I washed it and was thrilled with the results. No frizz, and my hair looked great with or without blow drying let alone flat ironing. The price was reasonable. I'll be returning in 6 months and my daughter already made an appointment. read more

Sigh. Where do I even begin. I purchased a Groupon to get a Brazilian Blowout back in mid may & immediately same day as buying the Groupon, I called and made an appointment. The Groupon specifically said you're able to make the appointment with "any stylist". After reading the yelp reviews, I asked to make an appointment with Anthony to which the receptionist said "um, he doesn't do Brazilians for now". Then I tried Ingrid to which she said "yea um no she doesn't do Brazilians with Groupon". At this point I should've just cancelled my Groupon since I was in the grace period but ended up making an appointment for mid-June (so a WHOLE MONTH AWAY y'all). Fast forward to the evening before my appointment, I receive a call from the salon saying that actually the Groupon was for the previous owners (even though the name & address on the Groupon is an exact match & no mention of it at all when I first called a MONTH ago to make an appointment...). They can't honor the Groupon and I have 2 choices. Either call Groupon & ask for a refund & make an appointment elsewhere OR keep the appointment but pay cash for the Groupon amount at the salon & still call Groupon for a refund. That they already spoke to Groupon & "it'll be no problem for me to get a full refund" even though I was well beyond the grace period. I 100% would've (and should've) cancelled the entire appointment but it was the EVENING before my appointment (even though I made my appointment ONE MONTH IN ADVANCE) but it was far too late to find somewhere else for the next day & I absolutely needed to get the treatment done due to travel a few days later. Stupidly I kept the appointment hoping for the best. Side note - I have been getting Brazilian Blowout treatments for the past 6+ years at least twice a year. So completely know what to expect, the process, and the end result. Clearly I love it , I continue to get it. Unfortunately this was by far the worst one I've ever had. I had the blowout last week (so I've only washed my hair once & waited at least 3 days before washing it) & it doesn't even look or feel like I recently had one. I still have a good amount of frizz & its not "silky smooth" like a typically is so soon after the treatment like previous times I've had it done elsewhere. Of course I use the Brazilian Blowout shampoo & conditioner and all the same aftercare I normally do but it completely looks and feels different. They either used a knockoff version of the product OR they used far less amount than needed to properly penetrate my hair. There is no other justification why my hair is looking the way it did just last week prior to treatment. Again, I'm very well experienced in receiving this treatment & my expectations are based on over 6 years of receiving this service. When I left the salon it felt "ok" but not as good as prior experience. It was only after I washed it 3 days later that I knew it was extremely subpar! Remember the comment about contacting Groupon to get a refund and "it won't be a problem". HA. Joke was on me (again). It was indeed a problem because I was so beyond their grace period and I had to speak to multiple representatives & escalate the issue before I was able to finally get a full refund. SO annoying! All of this effort because this salon doesn't want to honor something they signed up for. It wouldn't be that bad IF at least they did a good job on my hair and my results were the same as past experiences but now I have to redo it elsewhere - SMH. Oh wait, I almost forgot the best part. Because it's Brazilian Blowout and the smell can be pretty strong you dont get to sit the salon itself. Nope you have to go in the back office and face security camera monitors. Like wtf? Never in my life have I experienced this. Like some shady back alley transaction or something. Either don't do the service at all OR if you are, think of a better setup than that if you dont want it in the main room. A back office? Really? Ugh. The ONE and ONLY reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of the much deserving 1 star is because Jeffery, the stylist I was placed with (since the 2 I asked for weren't an option...) was a very nice guy. Maybe he's not aware that the product he used is trash... Groupon or not, definitely skip this place & go elsewhere. Unless you enjoy having to go through all this unnecessary steps & still having to redo you hair elsewhere. read more

I have always adored Anthony's color work! He is brilliant, intuitive, and truly hears you! It had been a while since I did color, but I knew there wasn't anyone I could possibly trust with my hair for my wedding day! Anthony and his husband Christian absolutely rocked it! They did my hair, my mom's hair, mother in law's hair, few of my bridesmaids, and it's was all perfect! It was a Celtic fairy thened wedding, and he truly helped it feel like a fairytale! Thank you, Anthony!!! Anthony has also just colored my hair! I work in a very conservative space where color is a fireable offense, but I miss having color. Anthony brilliantly figured out how much of my tips to dye to where I can hide the color in pins and wraps! Not only that, but I of course wanted the Galaxy mermaid experience, and he sectioned it so perfectly to give it a beautiful gradient. Anthony is absolutely brilliant, and I couldn't trust anyone more with my hair! So... Pinning and tucking my hair sounded like a lot of work, and that is completely my shortcoming! Anthony did a fantastic job with the length of color. Sad day! Had to hide them regardless, so went with a beautiful dark, auburn brown. Still want to keep my roots untouched while I continue growing it out for hair donation. Since then, we have gone to lavender and periwinkle blue! I love the color journey I have gone on with Anthony. From black and red, black and blue, to Galaxy jewel tones to pastel fairy colors, Anthony never disappoints! I have followed him to three salons and two cities over a period of nearly a decade, and would follow him just about anywhere! read more

I have been going to Heather Steele at this salon for 5-6 months. She is amazing with color and is also very talented and efficient! She weaves in two colors on my mousy brown hair and really makes it pop!! If you think it may be time for a change because your current hair stylist isn't listening to what you want or simply lacks the skill to do it, then Heather is your girl! The salon is conveniently located and also sells all the latest hair and skin products which makes it so very handy. Prior to finding Heather, I had the same hair stylist for 30 years. She was also wonderful but retired during COVID. It took me trying 4 other stylists before finding Heather, but let me tell you... Life is short and why pay for services that aren't what you want!! I randomly stopped in here to pick up some chemicals to strip my hair. So glad I met Anthony. He made some great recommendations and the color turned out awesome. While there he asked if I had a stylist which I do, but haven't been happy with my style lately so I later called to set up an appt with him. The Salon is very nice, clean and well organized. First off this was a really nice long hair wash. I felt so relaxed it was better than a massage. OMG I swear this is the best haircut I've ever gotten. The style is perfect for my face.
