**Very Unorganized and Dirty Place** "They accepted my request to use my own colors since my project required them. She responded quickly and asked me to come right away, so I didn't check other offers. When I arrived, the owner tried to convince employees to dye my hair, but two refused because they were about to close. She pressured me, and I got there in 15 minutes. The employee she convinced tried to charge me three times more than other offers I had seen. Initially, she quoted $180 for just a root touch-up. After I mentioned I brought my own supplies, she brought it down to $120. When she left, the employee mixed my color but forgot the main formula for gray coverage, despite me sending it to them. The result was terrible; my grays weren't covered at all. I couldn't go elsewhere, so I went to my friends house, and we fixed it with supermarket colors that same night. Obsessed!!!!! I have been looking non stop and researching through Yelp for weeks to find a hair stylist. Qt Salon kept popping up and I messaged them through Yelp. The owner was super responsive within minutes. Even when I called the day of for availabilities, she was assertive and helpful! I went in for a layered haircut a week ago with QT Salon which brought my hair back to life(unfortunately, I didn't get his name who cut my hair, but he was the man with the super blond hair) super fast and absolutely knew what he was doing. I decided a week later that I can finally do what I wanted to do which was a wavy perm. I felt confident going back to them and really appreciated how efficient they were. ANNIE helped me do my wavy perm and I have never met anyone that cared so much about hair to explain every single detail out to me in what she was going to do. She gave me so much helpful information on how to take care of the curls, what product to use, how to use the product and all in all how to care for my hair. I felt so comfortable and trusted her within minutes. My hair is a life changer and I LOVE LOVE it so much. I came across this QT hair salon. Everyone was very nice and attentive. My hairstylist was Stephanie, she is hands down one of the best there. She really cares about how to fix my hair to the color I wanted and not damaged it but with proper care and her professional skills made my hair transformation beyond my expectations. I got the golden brown balayage and keratin treatment and it's so worth it for my dry and damaged hair over many years of bleaching. I've been seeing Stephanie for years and she's been such an essential part of my life. What I loved most was that she got straight to the point, asked for my inspirational photos, and got right to dying my hair. I'm so glad I chose QT Salon to get full head of lowlights. Booked an appointment with whoever was working that day because I've seen on yelp all of the hairdressers are good! Jason helped me out and he did such a good job on the technique! Went in at 11:30am and finished around 3:30pm. This included the bleaching, hair wash, toning, and hair cut. Very Disappointing Experience -- Not Recommended !! I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at QT Salon. I booked haircuts for my two girls based on the $25 haircut price, so I expected the total to be around $50. After the haircut, one of my daughters was taken to the back for a shampoo and blow-dry without anyone asking for my permission or informing me that this would be an additional charge. I was never told that these services were going to be added to the bill. When we were done, I was shocked to see the total was $80. When I asked why the price had increased so much, they told me it was because they had shampooed and blow-dried her hair. I explained that they should have asked for my permission before providing an additional paid service. What disappointed me even more was that they didn't apologize or take responsibility for not informing me beforehand. They only refunded us $5. I have no problem paying for additional services when I agree to them, but customers should always be informed and asked before extra services are performed and added to the bill. Very disappointing customer service and experience. I would not recommend this salon based on how this situation was handled. I hope they learn to communicate with customers and get approval before adding unexpected charges. read more

Worst haircut I have ever had, walked in looking for a trim except the guy who did my hair just used thinning shears the whole time making me lose essentially half of my hair thickness due to the excessive thinning. Not once were actual cutting shears picked up it is so bad to the point that I cannot even tie my hair up or use a claw clip anymore because there isn't enough hair to hold on to. Would not recommend this place especially because it was $60 for a wash, cut and style which is very steep for the area. It will take months if not a year or more for the density to grow back and I specifically mentioned I was trying to grow my hair out and to keep the length long and now I fear my hair may be prone to breakage due to how thin it is. I made an appointment for a women's haircut online. Super easy to make a reservation online, which was why I decided to go with this place. When I walked in, it felt like the salon was filled with repeat customer. Although this wasn't a fancy salon, all the hair stylist were super friendly and chatty with their customers...which is generally a good sign. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. I don't to speak on the salon a whole, so this experience is limited to my male hair stylist. Maybe I was an outlier and he was just tired? I was a late Friday night appointment. He was really proud of his work when he was done with me, and I liked it too, but the bad haircut was masked by the styling. I didn't realized that my hair had been cut unevenly until I had left the salon and washed my hair the next day later. Also, the salon didn't feel super clean either. The guy cutting my hair was definitely mixing old and new combs. I know they wash our hair before they cut, but it didn't sit well with me. Additionally, he was pulling and redirecting my hair pretty aggressively when cutting my hair. read more

I recently came on July 15th for a keratin treatment. I used to get Keratin done at another salon but haven't had it redone in 2ish years so decided to try this place out. The appointment itself was fine and I do feel like the lady who did my hair took her time. However, it hasn't even been 2 weeks and the keratin feels like it has washed out.... I have had Keratin done in the past, and it lasted me well 2-3 months. When I finished my appointment I did ask the lady about how long it lasts, and she did say 2-3 months. I waited a full 4 days before washing my hair with sulfate free shampoo, and have not done anything to escalate the fading of Keratin (being in ocean, heated workout classes that causes a lot of sweat, etc...) and followed my normal process that I normally do when I get keratin done. For $250 (not including tip), i'm not quite sure it's worth the price here. The salon I went to previously was located in San Diego and was the same price, yet lasted 2-3 months. I'm sad that when I go outside, my hair is still frizzy and only slight softer than before I had gotten it done. Especially knowing that I had to save up for this treatment since it is pricey. read more
