I love the doctor but things are done differently than what I was used to. I thought I would receive a cleaning and I didn't and now have to wait another month for teeth cleaning which I didn't understand. My family and I have been coming here for over 10 years and have had a great experience. My dad has dealt with crown issues and they have helped him a lot. I've been coming for basic cleaning and even got an updated retainer as well. I moved away and tried going to a new dentist office, but came back here because they are so easy to work with. When I was pregnant, they also cleaned my teeth without getting an x ray even though it had been some time since my last one. Other dentists offices were really difficult to deal with when I was expecting and Dr bordas's staff did great. read more

My last visit was with dental hygienist (Norma) and I received a pretty good report considering my advanced age. I have to say that every time I spend time with my hygienist (me with light in my face, she with gadget in her hand), I learn something new about how to care for my teeth. That's such a positive that I hardly mind the scraping at all! Norma has a light touch, a very excellent thing for a dental hygienist. She must be in high demand: my next appt was supposed to be in December but her first opening is in March. I hope someone cancels so I can get slotted in. read more

I've known people to get a "second opinion" regarding dental work by checking with Dr. Bordas. He will tell you if you're being ripped off! Best dentist in Downey! We see Dr. Bordas and he is so patient with my daughter. The staff is welcoming and nice, most importantly they helped my daughter relax and have a good experience at the dentist. The office is so kid friendly and very clean.
