First of all, my husband has seen Dr.Bordas for 15+ years, (while we lived in Redondo Beach) with huge success concerning his oral hygiene and dental care. Me, the wife, needed a second opinion on my checkup from another dentist here in Las Vegas which is our current home. Upon disappointment with the recommendations, my husband suggested we take a ride to California to see Dr. Bordas for just that. Here is what happened: He looked at the x-rays from the Las Vegas dentist, and gave his own examination. His diagnosis was very different. He said i needed a couple of teeth treated, and did not need expensive caps that were recommended by the dentist in Las Vegas. AND, even though this was not included in the appointment we had, Dr. Bordas offered to do the work right then, as he said it would not take that long, and we would not have to make another trip from Las Vegas to handle the situation. Considerate or what??? We finished the work, (which BTW he talked me through the whole process) and happily paid a very considerable amount less quoted me by the other guy. Happy right there!!! When I first walked into Dr. Bordas's office I told him that I would be his worst enemy. After some horrible childhood dentist visits I managed to avoid seeing the dentist for over 7 years. After noticing severe plaque and tarter build-up and always being embarrassed to smile I knew it was time to get my teeth and gums healthy again. I made it in to the office just in time as I was on the verge of gum disease. A mouth full of cavities and plaque buildup was no issue for Dr. Bordas at all. He filled over 5 cavities, performed multiple deep cleanings all around, and patched up a few chipped teeth that became victim to deep cavities. He works very fast and always ensures the patient is comfortable. He came highly recommended by a close friend and now I can see why. Dr. Bordas and staff are the absolute best. From the minute you enter and are greeted by the front office staff you feel at ease and confident of the dental care that is provided. Never is there a sense of being rushed. Dr Bordas excels in the manner he relates to you as a friend not just a patient. The exam, findings, and treatment are well explained. i have been going to dr. bordas since i was in the 5th grade so for about 33 years. and i would never go to any other denist. i am know married and my husband and my 4 year old daughter go to him. the staff is like family and it feels like a family reunion ever 6 months. i don't know what i am going to do if he ever retires. i tell him he would have to come out of retirement twice a year. i have and will alway recommend dr. bordas to every one i know. he is an amazing dentist and his staff as well. read more
