I owe these fine folks a lot, certainly more than my monetary contributions over the years could ever even come close to - this is a Portland institution and I hope it stays open forever. Also - if you're lame or listen to super popular newer bands/acts, there's throngs of other places in Portland that will gladly take your money and sell you what you're after. If this is the case and you accidentally step into Little Axe, things totally happen but maybe don't feel compelled to leave a nasty review because of this. They're doing what they do at an extremely high level, even if it doesn't appeal to your (potentially) limited tastes.

We spent a little over an hour exploring all the different sections. It's a huge store. At front you can see new releases, foreign films, and award movies. They had a tv show section, films divided by actor/actress starring in them, along with genres like drama, comedy, horror, and more. I love the amount of memorabilia in the space! It was such an inspirational spot to go too. There are so many movies I want to watch now. Everything felt reasonably priced. I also loved the way the store was organized. While we didn't interact with anyone who worked there, overhearing their convos, they seemed so passionate about movie. If I needed anything, I'm sure they would've been super kind and helpful.
