This is a great store than I just stumbled upon after another record store in the area closed. It's a small store but don't let that keep you away! They cram a lot of stuff into this small shop - CD's, records, DVD's, even a few cassettes and 8 tracks. This is another really good used music store that has reasonable prices and a nice selection of music for all kinds of genres. Unlike a lot of used music stores that focus more on records this place also has a large selection of digital discs (DVD and CD). I have been shopping here long enough to see 3 locations and loved them all. I believe a couple of brothers own this store jointly. (I could be wrong.) The guy who is usually there is super nice and helpful. He genuinely loves music and seems to care about and respect his customers. I go in there about twice a month looking for punk / hardcore / metal and their selection is always amazing. perhaps the rudest customer service from a record shop I've ever encountered! if you decide do shop here, be sure NOT to ask questions, apparently that makes you the enemy! This is the coolest little music shop on either side of the river. I went in today with about 170 new Blu-rays I was trying to sell. The guy was very fair! I had them listed online as a wholesale price and he offered $50 over what I had them listed as. His honesty earned him that $50 I let him keep. Such a great guy! Everybody's Music has been around over twenty years (under various names) and in that time I have dropped by a few times when I was in downtown Vancouver. Lately, though, I've gotten serious about searching for vinyl so I thought I would make a deliberate trip to the record store in my own back yard. I checked Yelp for some reviews and...nothing! Really? Not everyone wants to go to Portlandia for their stuff. So...Drove over, walked in and was greeted immediately with an offer to help find anything I was looking for - that's important to me even though I like to paw through the stuff without assistance. Next, the vinyl is well organized and by that I mean they have a lot of bands represented on their divider tabs. That narrows down the generic lesser known stuff to a manageable amount - nice. Next, selection was good with most of the genres well represented. That said, I am a Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical and Comedy kind of person. There is other stuff there on both vinyl and CD, I just didn't pay close attention. The vinyl does appear to be curated, on all three of the LP's I bought there were multiple copies at different price points reflecting cover/vinyl condition. It would be easy to spend an hour in here looking through the vinyl and only the fact that I parked in a 30 minute spot made me leave sooner. Vancouver has plenty of free parking downtown with most spots good for 2 hours. I'll definitely go again. read more

Not much going for this shop. The records are quite overpriced. In fact I was quite disappointed by an $11 price tag on a copy of Dynasty by KISS. The record had several scratches too! Overall selection is "whatever". Lots of typical $1 finds in the main crates trying to pass off as high-end collectibles. I won't be coming back here. read more

Owner is a friendly local who is trying to hold our against 1709 so give this guy your business if you are a true local. Staff are super nice and helpful. The vinyl selection, though plentiful, totally blows. Tons of the same oldie moldy stuff that you would find at Goodwill, only more expensive. I didn't check out the CDs, so maybe there's some good stuff there. As far as the vinyl goes, they should haul it all to the dump and start over. read more

Friendly, small record and cd store. Not for everybody though...if you are in a wheelchair you might have trouble, It was hard to get in the front door I could only get down the main isles. The vinyl blues selection was non-existant. But it is clean and the people are very nice. read more

Named recently changed to EVERYBODY'S MUSIC. Really great place. Brian and crew are super-cool and they have a TON of old vinyl in really good condition... not to mention an entire back wall of cassette tapes (yeah, they're becoming hip again)! Drop in and listen to some tunes while checking out row after of row of CD's and records... and don't be shy to ask Brian to spin a specific slab of vinyl for you... like taking a walk back in time to 1978! if you are looking to go record shopping as someone new to vinyl or someone who has been doing it for a while, take it to Portland. Upon walking in the store there was a lone teenager running things and he was talking on his cellphone with a buddy. No hello may i help you or anything but that's not a big deal. So this record store has Rock, Country and Jazz... any other genre might have a few dozen records. There are also way too many records for a shop this size. they are stacked up against walls in the already narrow walkways. Anyway, I grab a few record that looked good and they all have price tags on them. I walk up to the counter and the kid looks at the records and gives me a total over twice the amount on the price tags. Turns out those are the price tags from where they bought the records and they pretty much just arbitrarily price things depending on whether you look like you know what your doing. For a much bigger, better and cheaper shopping experience just go to any of the shops in Portland read more
