My Mom was a resident at Prestige Assisted living until her death in 2021 . Since then I have been…read morevolunteering and giving back to a place that was so wonderful to my Mom . Recently it has changed hands and is now called Bellamar . I have watched the easy transition and I am very happy to see the same loving and efficient care to all the residents. The staff is caring and devoted to making the residents feel loved and at home . The decision to move to assisted living is very hard . The staff and atmosphere help in this transition. As I searched online, I came across several articles about Palm Vista being voted best in the Antelope Valley! I scheduled a tour with Kehlani who was enthusiastic, welcoming and highly intelligent. She gave me an amazing tour of the restaurant style dining area, miniature movie theatre, outdoor recreation, salon and show rooms. The following week I brought mom to complete the intake process and she immediately felt comfortable in this new environment. After showing mom around, Kehlani covered everything from laundry to care provider assistance. I was satisfied with the rules which were doable as all measures of legality were covered. Later we spoke with Stu, who is the head administrator. He was such a down to earth guy. He shook my hand and made a few jokes and then introduced himself to mom and welcomed her. The facility offers a 10% discount for families of military, which cut down the price for us considerably. For everything that this place has to offer, I can see why they were voted Best in Antelope Valley. Mom has been here for 1 month and I've seen her improve. The entire staff really shows that they care about the seniors here.

As a New Resident I…read morewanted to express deep gratitude toward two staff members--Nayeli (Med tech) and Lashonna (Care worker)--for their exceptional care and compassion, which stood out amid ongoing and seeming medical neglect and unresponsiveness from an outside doctors office. Nayeli responded late at night when others didn't, helping me to manage pain when I was left without proper medication. She correctly took the time to read Google research that Tramadol may have been inappropriate and the cause of additional pain worsening my condition and with approval offered Ibuprofen instead. She also promised to escalate concerns to JC and Stu, giving me peace of mind. Lashonna offered emotional support and practical care (like assisting with bathing, walking and encouraging hope when faced with loss of mobility), these acts lifted my spirits in a significant way . . . She praised Palm Vista' s services in a nonchalant but authentic way which inspired confidence. She was always there in a kind and responsive manner when most needed.
