I have been coming to Antelope Valley Florist for many years and have always been pleased with the floral arrangements. They are my go to for floral occasions. When I need flowers, I usually go into the shop to pick them out rather than call on the phone.. Recently, I wanted to send an arrangement of pale pink flowers to honor the memory of a family friend. The service I received at this shop was incredible. The florist not only helped me pick out the right shades of flowers but made excellent suggestions for the greenery and fill. I ordered a tropical arrangement for my mom's memorial service, florists choice, and I was not disappointed. Not only did they make a beautiful display for the service but the customer service was excellent. No one answered the door for the delivery person and they were worried to leave it in the heat so they left me a message and the recipient a message. When I called the shop back the lady I spoke to was very nice and appreciative of the call back that we had received the flowers. My favorite little touch they added was the tiny humming bird taking flight. Thank you for a beautiful contribution in remembering my mom. read more

I am a frequent customer. Monthly I come in and I will tell you all of the ladies in there greet you and take care of you as if you were family. That is the type of customer service I truly value and appreciate. Always smiling and always helpful. Don't waste your time going to this flower shop. I went 02/20/24 WITHIN business hours. I was able to see a woman doing an arrangement. I followed directions on the door to ring the bell once. She looked at me and continued to just work on the arrangement she was doing. I was highly disappointed because I really wanted an arrangement for a mom who had just given birth since I've seen the pictures of the arrangements here on yelp. Will never try to go to this location again. read more

We wanted to send an elaborate flower arrangement for my mother's 75th birthday. We chose to go with one of their arrangements on their website, but when we called, some of the flowers were not available. The lady over the phone said that she can put something together with what they had in the store - which to me implies "leftovers"....She said she will make it big, and fabulous. So ok...expecting big and fab for $120... Well, I was right... My mother took a photo of the arrangement, and thankfully she was happy...BUT, looking at the photo closely, it looks like a few of the flowers are a couple days from wilting, and the large leaf at the front was cut off with scissors because I'm sure it started to die. AV florist put their leftover flowers into marrangement, and I I was told that I would have a FRESH, vibrant bouquet. Mom doesn't know any better, but I do. Big and fabulous? Meh. Just OK. 3-stars for effort. read more

i was on the hunt today for some lilacs. it was my grandmothers birthday and my grandpa was feeling blue. he's 93 and she passed away 12 years ago. Some years are better then others for him. anyways. i had been to two other stores and they didn't have what i was looking for. I walked in here and told the lady what i was looking for. I then proceeded to cry at her as she showed me the most perfect lilac flowers. They were the exact ones that my grandma loved. They made me a beautiful little bouquet in a mason jar, handed me kleenex and were all so super sweet. My grandpa absolutely loved it. It made him happy and that made me happy. Absolutely disappointed with their services. I have attached a photo of what I paid for and the sad excuse of bouquet that was delivered. Now I understand things can change depending on what's available and may not 100% exactly the same but per their website and email " When you order custom designs, they will be produced as closely as possible to the picture." This is nowhere NEAR what I ordered ! You're telling me all you had left was pink roses ? All you threw in there was white flimsy fluff and some leaves. It looks so empty when I wanted a FULL flourishing bouquet. Really sad I wasted my money on this. I went based off reviews but unfortunately we didn't get five star services. Never again. read more

Had a great experience calling in a last minute phone order on 10-15-18. The woman who handled my order was very courteous, patient, and helpful. She was even able to guarantee my delivery would arrive within a two hour time range shortly after placing the order. Thank you Antelope Valley Florist. I ordered an arrangement for a friend's mother's funeral and and it was beautiful absolutely gorgeous! The only problem was I wish it was bigger! They said they only had a 20 inch heart, and they are a little pricey too! My friend's sister got a bigger heart someplace else, about 2 or 3 inches wider and 6 inches longer for about the same price as what I paid. If you're in a hurry and need something right away I recommend this place, if you've got time to shop around and find something a little less pricey and just as good or better, I say look elsewhere. No offense to Antelope Valley florist, but for the prices they charge they should have a bigger selection in size And offer hearts bigger than 20 inches. They need to work on that. They have good qualitie, they just need to have a bigger selection, that's all. read more

They recently did the flowers for my daughter's wedding. They went off a verbal description of what she wanted and when they showed up it was exactly what she had envisioned!! They arrived on time, set everything up and incredibly sweet. They left the box with corsages and boutonnières (each in its own box) - last time I came across these items was my own prom so all I saw when I looked in was boutonnières and called them panicked about not seeing the corsages - they were patient and did not make me feel like an idiot (did it to myself) as they patiently walked me through the items in the box - yes, it was all there. read more

I have been ordering flowers here for my mom for the past few years. I don't live in the AV area so I always have to order via phone. The woman that answers the phone is always so sweet and attentive. She's very helpful in putting together a beautiful and vibrant arrangement for my mom. I call the same day and the arrangement is promptly delivered within a few hours! I've always been highly satisfied with the selected flowers and the affordable price. This year, we focused on yellow since that is my mom's favorite color. As you can see from the photos attached, they exceeded my expectations! Even the balloon was yellow. This place is absolutely ridiculous. My boyfriend had flowers delivered to my mom. My mom wasn't home when they came by & she wasn't able to get ahold of them because they close early on Saturdays so two days go by they deliver them & the flowers are dead. Granted I know it took 2 days to get them but seriously $85 flowers & you can't even replace the dead flowers? I'm sure they throw hundreds of dead flowers away DAILY but God forbid to give your customer some fresh flowers. read more

When my mom passed away a couple of weeks ago, AV Florist handled many of the floral arrangements. Wow. They took the time to find out what flowers my mom liked and when people called in to order flowers they were able to make great suggestions in terms of arrangements that my mom would have loved. The larger arrangements were really beautiful. They came home with us for the party and were admired by many guests. I can't say enough about what a difference the personal touch made. read more
