But my choices are limited due the fact I am in a wheelchair. I is extremely hard to find a B&B or cottages that are wheelchair accessible, almost never. But Government Street Cottages has a REAL WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE ROOM!!!!. It is wonderfully decorated as well. Parking is great. Large bathroom, plenty of room to maneuver. Roll-In Shower. We can't wait to go back for a few days to just get away again. And the location is just down the street from great shopping, dinning and entertainment. I would recommend to bring a cooler if you plan a long visit. It has a microwave and a small fridge as you would find in most hotels (only so much room). This would give you the option of storing more food related items and drinks, especially if you bring the kiddos. Cant wait to return. The host was super responsive to any questions I had and was more than accommodating when our plans were fluid until our arrival. We were able to meet her while she was riding one of her beautiful horses that stays in the Barn. The barn kitties were sweet, loveable and so much fun to play with too! We enjoyed our stay and if in the area again, would definitely book again. It felt like a weekend getaway, even though we were in town for a family event! It was great to have a place to stay where all out-of-town family could be in the same place, while being close to other family that lives in the area. I would highly recommend the beautiful space!
