Best little place around the corner from the beach. Easy walk but plenty of parking. Location is 2nd to none. Enough to see and do for a long weekend. The cottage itself was adorable. It was the 1 pictured above, The Key West Cabana. It was great for just me and me only. It's small but very nice. I never ventured out at night but I never heard a sound, very peaceful. The cottages are in a residential area. Can't wait to go back!

We are one and done. Considering a move tonight! Its location is THE only thing going for this place. It is OLD. It is not well maintained. Went to Walmart for a fan as its window unit wouldn't handle the 82 degree night heat. There was condensation dripping from the ceiling. There was no shampoo. No full shower door. Two towels. Rotten steps. Dirty porch. The room was small and the bathroom smaller. If asked to describe the place in five words: "It is old and overpriced."

Recently spent 3 nights at The Hemingway. The rooms are well designed and appointed. Location is good, except for the train that roars by early am and late on the daily. Room had an ice bucket but no ice? "The Inn's" coffee shop never opened for the 3 days of my stay. The real problem with this property,Hemingway, occurred on day 2 and 3 of my stay when it was impossible to enter the property. I, and others, were left standing for over 30 minutes while "management" tried to have "someone" come over and check why the keyless entry at the property's common, and only, entry point was inoperable!! I only got in because some other guest exited the entry point. This made my dinner reservation impossible to keep and there where NO alternatives open for dinner in town!!! The owners/managers made no real apology and of course no other accommodation was offered for this inexcusable situation. At these prices you would probably be better served staying at The Roost if you are determined to stay in Ocean Springs, at The Pearl in Bay St Louis, or The Grand Hotel in Fairhope, AL.

She showed me around the house and made me feel at home as soon as I put my bags down at the door. I loved the house! It was quiet, clean and very comfortable. The next morning, she prepared a wonderful breakfast at 8:00am The food and presentation was perfect 5 star! Everything to eat was made from scratch. The sunshine room is so cute and has the bonus of a gorgeous bathtub that should absolutely be taken advantage of. The house is cozy and well decorated. There were even snacks sitting out when we got in. First, I've never even heard of this town, so it was a pleasant surprise to check it all out and fall in love. This B&B has so much charm and you can tell how much the owners love it. The house itself has been very well maintained. We were the only guests in the main house that night, so we had the whole house to ourselves. They left out snacks and drinks for us, left the lights on, and unlocked the doors, as we arrived well after the check in time. We were in the master suite, which had a king sized bed with a sleep number mattress. Awesome! Plenty of space in the room to make ourselves comfortable. The bathroom was big with a separate toilet area. Also, I'm a sucker for clawfoot tubs. It was a very charming room to spend a night in. We had a vegetarian breakfast the following morning, which consisted of scrambled eggs, stuffed French toast, fresh fruit, coffee, and juice. All very delicious! Lastly, this place is pet friendly and close to restaurants and shops! If you're ever in town, please check this place out!

Michael, who's family owns and operates this fine little Hotel & Bistro, seated us and took our drink orders. My wife and I were both enthralled with the unique art on the walls and Michael took us on a personal tour of the local and regional art that hangs in the building. Very impressive and tasteful. Classically hip. We learned of the history of the eclectic building, as well as the deep connection to his family's history. What a pleasant person and what an inspiring story. We even got peeks of two of the six suites. Sadly there were none available for that weekend. We returned to our table to find our Fried Green Tomatoes with crab meat Napoleon waiting. My MS Wife and I had gone all over Downtown two days before in search of Green Fried's and were surprised that even the comfort food spots in Gulfport did not have them. These were good, green, crisp and plentiful with a nice sauce and crab. Our grilled Trout Almanett arrived and we were very happy. Perfectly grilled, with well seasoned veggies and tiny, butterflied sautéed shrimp in a lemon herb sauce. Being from Louisiana, we were surprised that they got the spice right. I would eat this again and again. The Lunch portion was adequate and we did eat it again when we got home. (Actually my daughter stole it and gave me a few bites!) We also took some Cheesecake home as well. Very thick, dense, creamy with a crumbly, tasty crust. Excellence. Eat it 'naked' with no sauces needed. Each bite was two bites. Our server, Ashley, was cute, smart and attentive. She was professional, yet warm, and seemed happy to be there and aiming to please. Very refreshing. She even offered ice so our food would fresh to Louisiana. Pricing is exactly where you would want it for this quality of food and service. Don't tell Michael but they could increase that fish a little if they so desired. They were also running an AYCE Fried, Grilled or WhoDat shrimp Lunch special for some unreasonably low price. Their Lunch specials are very popular with the Professionals in Downtown. Maybe next time;.....I might break them eating Grilled Shrimp! All of this personal attention and service was provided without them even knowing it was our Anniversary. Oh, and ask about the Live Jazz night, I think on second Fridays...Thanks guys, for an awesome experience and meal.

It's a clean beautiful stay, the bathrooms are neat!thanks for that but little details like the ocean view is just a little sight between the houses in front, the continental breakfast it's actually its definition, some donuts, some fruits, juice and coffee. Try to ask the wifi password when u get there cause the guys are always around but theres not a front desk so u have to go down and find them to ask them and the reception is horrible (please put a little sign with the pass!) Also the toilet paper was almost gone (could be replaced before welcoming us)and the Kleenex box had just one..the one that was showing hehe. Some spoons for the coffee table in the room and the breakfast area as well. It's the little things what tell us paying more is worth it. I say is more a bed and breakfast than a boutique hotel. . If u are staying for long and want an area to fix or reheat food it's clear on the website :doesnt have kitchenettes..so check that out. Thanks for the hospitality
