The technician who came out informed me that we would have to replace the ancient AC that we inherited when we bought the house after going up and inspecting the unit/damage. We were expecting to replace the AC sometime so we weren't too surprised, but I thought it was great that he actually took a video of the condition to show me. (Back story: Techs from Richie Rich came out twice before for this AC when it stopped cooling and were able to prolong its life for a year until it finally gave out. They were recommended by a local developer as they also do commercial properties.) We scheduled for a replacement the next day and the guys came out first thing in the morning. At one point, I think I had 5-6 guys around working in the attic and outside to get the job done quickly. They were super conscientious about keeping the area clean of insulation and debris. They were also really great sports when a bunch of the water in the drain pan came raining down on them. I was impressed with their work and appreciate how communicative and friendly they were -- impressed enough that I am writing this review on Christmas night because I just realized I forgot to finish my review. We've had our new AC for a couple weeks now and it works better than before. I'd recommend these guys without hesitation.

We had just gotten back from vacation, on a Saturday night, to a house that was 85°. On Sunday morning I reached out to several companies, most of which had higher pricing for Sunday work (standard across the industry), or did not have availability. Jesus was one of the first to respond and was the only person who offered to come out that same day with a standard fee, rather than a premium Sunday charge. I was extremely hesitant to say yes because, at that time, they only had three reviews, and I'm a sucker for previous customer feedback. But I'm glad that I went with them. Pavel came out in about an hour, had our air-conditioning working in less than that, and for a great price. Do not hesitate to use P&J if you have an HVAC issue. They're legit.

I'm a senior and was too trusting.Edgar never asked me what type of AC unit I desired nor warned me the base should have been replaced and passed off 3 ton Rheem that was very loud and not energy efficient. I had a number of service issues. I was grateful when I tried to turn my heat on during a freezing day in Dec only to find out his crew never connected the gas heater. Edgar did come out on Christmas Eve. I had a clogged water line the first year and frequent clogs. When my unit didn't cool, the technician warnedme I would have some unfixable water clogs. He pointed out that the base - that Edgar never bothered to replace - is starting to corrode and as a result, the unit isn't level, which is why the water never drained properly.
