I came to Antalia specifically for their takeout lunch special. The deal includes a two-course lunch box where you choose one entree and one appetizer, and it also comes with Turkish rice, Turkish bread, red cabbage, lettuce, plus both white and hot sauce. The price point was great. I ordered the Turkish meatballs as my entree and tzatiki as my appetizer. They told me the order would take 15 minutes. I was actually considering switching to a different entree while ordering, but I'm glad I didn't since it would've taken longer. When I picked up my food, everything was piping hot. The meatballs were flavorful and satisfying. The tzatziki was fresh and creamy. Perfect alongside the rest of the meal. Overall, if you're looking for a quick, filling, and well priced lunch option.

Very nice and hospitable staff!! Although my friend and I shared the "mixed grill" (which was a TON of food), I'd say my favorites of the night were all the appetizers and spreads that we ordered. That is a must-try while dining here. The interior has great decor and feels quite spacious which can be uncommon in the city. Kudos to them for making the space feel big despite not having windows in the back. We loved the labneh + beet spread, hummus, and spicy mixed veggies. The complimentary Turkish bread was great to enjoy all the spreads.

We stopped by this Mediterranean restaurant after seeing a Broadway show and it did not disappoint. It was a cute and comfortable setting that looked like a fancy dining room. Our server was attentive to our needs. We were served warm bread. I asked for some olive oil to dip my bread and it was delish! Hubby ordered a Turkish soda which tasted like Sprite with a bubble gum flavor and I had a glass of red sangria that was nice and strong. Our entrees were quite delicious and full of flavor! I definitely would go back!

Came here for lunch on a weekday with a reservation. The place was pretty empty when I initially entered, but eventually started to get busier. Not sure how packed it gets for dinner or during the weekends, but would recommend making a reservation regardless. They served us complimentary warm bread to start, which I enjoyed. I ordered the falafel entree. It was more filling than I expected, so I couldn't finish it. But it was absolutely delicious!! I loved the house salad that it came with. Service was wonderful. Interior is very clean and cute. Bathroom is clean as well. Would definitely recommend this place!

We had a dinner there last night. It was a great experience. The ambience and service were amazing. Especially hummus with beef was really delish. Highly recommended.

The food was incredibly seasoned and very reasonably priced. The restaurant was incredibly beautiful, especially with the low cost. Seating was available and the service was fast and friendly. I would come here again!

Came on a Wednesday night for dinner. Was not crowded and was seated quickly. Food came quickly. I had lamb burger and french fries, which was tasty and very filling.

I jadore this restaurant. It's beautiful inside. From the lighting to the sconces, to the marble bathroom. Greatest customer service. Its been on my bucket list to go eat here for years. The housemade Turkish bread is the best bread in nyc. The olive oil and seasoning was superb. The seasonings here are fresh. I ordered hummus that was vibrant and fresh . I ordered red beet spread. This was my favorite. Creamy and beautiful. Spicy veggie dip. That was bold and mild spice. Very good. My friends favorite was the red lentil ball (vegan). The flavors and textures amazing. We ordered the iskender lamb kabob and chicken shish kabobs. Nice warm pita. Juicy fresh meats. Outstanding. We ended with the best dessert rice pudding with a burnt creme brule. Highly recommend and tea service. The lunch special is $27.95 and worth every penny. The white sangria is the best i ever had and watermelon margarita delicious. Tasted so refreshing. Everything is so colorful. Reminded me of Istanbul.

Came here for dinner with a friend on a rainy evening. The interior was lovely with cute decor and a cozy ambiance. I really wanted to try the pre fixe menu, while my friend wasn't as hungry. Thankfully, this place doesn't require the whole party to partake in the pre fixe, so we were both able to get what we wanted. For my appetizer, I chose fried calamari, served with creamy, savory tartar sauce. This was delicious, and a generous portion. The breading was perfectly crispy, light, with yummy seasoning. Salmon in Vine Leaves was my main course, and I found this to be uniquely prepared. The salmon was marinated, then chargrilled and wrapped in grape leaves. This came with greens, carrots, cabbage, as well as tomatoes. The salmon was quite tasty, tender, flaky, and full of great flavor. Grape leaves were not my favorite, but seemed to work well with the salmon. The dessert that came with the Pre Fixe menu was Rice Pudding. I also got to try my friend's Pistachio Baklava. I preferred the Baklava, which was irresistibly crunchy, sweet, with plenty of nuts and syrupy honey. The Rice Pudding was cinnamony and cooked to just the right consistency. Service was solid. Our waiter was friendly and on top of it, making sure everything came out in a timely manner. We also stayed until closing time, and were not rushed at all. I would return to try the Pachanga Borek and Lamb Chops.

Had a bad experience at a restaurant nearby and was looking for something kid friendly. The waitstaff were very nice and the food was excellent. Ordered the dip trio - $27 was insane for the portions, but hey, it's Midtown. Also, they didn't serve any bread/pita with the dip, just the bread that they gave us when they gave us the water (more on that later). So, we had to pay to order another Pita for the Table. Ridiculous, considering it probably costs them less than $1 to just include the pita with the $30 dip I just ordered. (lost a star) Food was excellent. Ordered the lamb burger. It was big and juicy, bun was on point. Wife ordered falafel, which she said was excellent, and much better than the falafel we order in Northport, Long Island. Food - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Price - 0/5 Why two stars? Lost another two stars for charging $7.95 for bottled water. $7.95? For WATER? Are you kidding? This isn't just high pricing--it's flat-out price gouging. I get it--markups happen. But this? This is beyond reasonable. I always opt for bottled if you ask tap or bottled. But charging $7.95 for water is a CHEAP TRICK.

Came here for a quick afternoon coffee. It came in this wonderful pictured cup which elevated my drink in the best way! Staff super friendly and the place gave a family restaurant ambiance. It tasted great!

This popular haven for theatergoers offered us a sophisticated spread of fresh seafood, expertly grilled meats, and authentic appetizers. Our favorites included Pita Bread, Pickled Cabbage, Chicken Shish Kebab, Hummus, Shepherd's Salad, Babaghannous, Eggplant with Sauce, Falafel, Greek Salad, Lamb Shish Kebab, Stuffed Vine Leaves, Mediterranean Salad, Shepherd's Salad, Zucchini Pancakes, and Baklava. With its blend of exceptional food, an inviting atmosphere, and personalized service, this is one special restaurant that we will want to return to after our next Broadway musical. Akdeniz was the perfect Midtown setting to share a meal and vibrant conversation with amazing poet and educator Susan Gimignani Lukas.

I added to my list but didn't try it until this week and I was blown away! The restaurant is lovely and has a great vibe (although it is a little loud due to the low ceilings). Service was great reflecting exceptional Turkish hospitality. My friends and I started with small mezzes (all delicious) and zucchini blossoms, which I could have had as a standalone meal. I had the Turkish delight meat dish and that was super. My husband had the beyti and it was the best I've ever had. We all ate way too much and waddled out of there way too full. Super glad I got to try out NAR and I hope it does well, because the food is straight up amazing. I started off with a glass of the Cotes d'Avanos Narince Blend from Turkey and I highly recommend! It's medium bodied and acidic, with mineral, stone fruit, and citrus, and would go really well with seafood. For food, we began with the mezze sampler, which included babaganoush, muhammara, and hummus. This is a great way to start the meal, especially since Nar serves a delicious bread (crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside) as a complementary starter. My favorites were the muhammara, an intense, piquant spread made with roasted red peppers and pomegranate molasses, and the ever-smoky babaganoush, which was served with pomegranates. The hummus was great, too; I just thought it wasn't a standout. -Aegean Style Cherry Vine Leaf Sarma (stuffed vine leaves, cherry yogurt, pine nuts, currants): Delicious. The savory, salty sarma are tasty on their own, but best when lightly sweetened with the cherry yogurt and tart, juicy currants. -Beyti Kebab (hand minced lamb wrapped in lavash, yogurt, confit tomatoes): This was the most flavorful lamb - juicy, smoky, perfectly spiced - I've had in a long time. The lavash (bread) that it was rolled in was also spiced, the yogurt was cooling, and the tomatoes and bell peppers a fresh and flavorful accompaniment. We finished off the meal with ice cream and Turkish coffee. The coffee took a while, so they took it off of our bill, which was a kind gesture. The ice cream was a different experience! It was made with goat milk, so the flavor was distinct, and it was extremely thick. High-quality and fun to try, but just a little too thick for my preferences.

I got to try a variety of different items, inducing: ayran, chicken Adana sandwich on home bread, Turkish tea, and rice pudding. The ayran was probably the best I've ever had in my life. The chicken Adana sandwich was also quite nice. The chicken was fresh and well seasoned in a good portion with some lettuce, onions, tomatoes as well. The bread was great. It's served with two wonderful, flavorful sauces: hot sauce and yogurt sauce (I much prefer the latter). Portion is incredible for the price. Then, I was initially interested in trying the fig pudding for dessert but they were out of it, so I went with the rice pudding. Again, a huge portion that is well worth the price. So creamy, so good. And, they brought out 2 Turkish teas for free to make up for not having the fig! The people are just very nice here, and the tea was also lovely, piping hot and just perfect. It's a pretty small restaurant but doesn't get crowded early on. They were playing some Turkish music while I ate, and I really enjoyed it.
