The highlights are the wonderful Annapolis Professional Pharmacy on the ground floor and an imaging center for MRIs and X-rays. I've used all of these personally. There is a footbridge to the Belcher pavilion too. And from there to the main hospital building, but you will need to exit to the street and walk all the way around (unless you're an employee with a badge). It is really only for staff. Parking is not too bad if you just go to the roof. It is a big garage. Elevators are slow. Use the steps if you can.

However, even when you're the first appointment of the…read moremorning, you are looking at at least a 2 hour wait in the waiting room, and probably another 45 minutes of waiting in the exam room, just to see the doctor for 10 minutes. It's just not worth it if you dont' have at least 3 hours to kill (and there's no cell phone reception in there, so it's not like you can continue your work day) Also, I asked the stand-in doctor (as my real one was out sick one day) if she would sort of explain my new insulin system (I'm diabetic) in terms of alcohol. She refused. She said that alcohol was bad for me, and that she would not help me mitigate that by telling me how to do it. I pointed out that if I was going to do it anyway, as I refuse to not enjoy life, she would be helping me, and that she took an oath to do no harm, and that not telling me was harmful. She stormed out of the office--not what you want in a doctor. Last time I was there, I saw Heather, who was lovely.

Oh boy, when thinking about Oasis, it's hard to express the amount of unprofessionalism that I…read moreexperienced, but here it goes. My son had an issue that needed to be addressed through counseling, so after speaking with his doctor, I was given a referral list with Oasis on it. I called all of the places referred (5 of them), and Oasis was the only one taking new patients during the pandemic, which left me in a bind. I gave all of my insurance and personal information to the women on the phone and was given the time/date/doctor that my son would need for his session. On the day of the session, I hadn't received a Zoom Link, so I called Oasis. I spoke to a young lady named Brianna P., and she told me to go to the patient portal and complete the questionnaire. After completing the portal questions, I heard nothing. I received no Zoom link and received no follow-up correspondence. My son, who was already nervous, was disappointed about his counselors' failure to appear. Three weeks passed, and we still heard nothing from Oasis until we received a bill. The bill was a 25 dollar charge for a missed appointment that we never received the information for. Moreover, they billed my son instead of me!!! I have worked with counselors for year's and never have I seen a business physically bill an 8-year-old. After looking on Yelp, I now see that this business needs a total overhaul. I did manage to call the billing department, and a very nice woman rescinded the charge. I emailed Brianna P. with my issue and her supervisor, and no one has contacted me to this day. Please stay away from this place. The reviews are warranted, and this is not how to conduct business with individuals that are already experiencing traumatic events. Oasis is creating additional stress and drama that is not needed in these times.

My 12-year-old son received counseling services through Bay Area Christian Counseling for several…read moremonths. During that time, I repeatedly requested basic parental updates and care coordination and did not receive meaningful communication for an extended period. I later learned that my son had made statements involving self-harm and substance exposure, yet I was not notified for weeks after those statements were reportedly made, despite having shared legal and physical custody and being responsible for his care half the time. I also became aware that third parties were involved in communications related to my son's care without my knowledge or consent, which raised serious concerns for me as a parent regarding boundaries, transparency, and parental access. After requesting records and clarification, responses were delayed and inconsistent, and I was told that my minor child would need to authorize the release of his own medical information, which further complicated my ability to participate in his care. Parents considering this practice should ask very clear questions up front about communication policies, parental access to information, and how safety-related disclosures are handled.

Realized at the end of the appointment the therapist didn't even have the correct intake form that said what I wanted to get out of therapy and all the things I checked and sent back 2 days ahead of time.
