I got engaged here, and now we bring our children here. A man driving one of their John Deers allowed my son to sit in the seat and pretend to drive (when it wasn't turned on). These people go above and beyond to make sure you have a memorable experience.

I try to stop in whenever I get to Wautoma, as I think it is really crucial to the health and character of small towns that this type of business (historic building, locally owned, carefully stocked, excellent customer service) not only survive, but thrive. Despite the relatively small (compared to big box stores) footprint, I have always found what I have needed here, whether it be stovepipe, coolers, shovels, fishing gear, etc. This place has a really good feel to it. Although there is no parking on Main Street (Highway 21), there is parking next to the building, as well as in a lot just to the east, across the street.
