I paid $55 for an upgraded pedicure that was advertised as a 50-minute service, but it definitely did not last that long--I even set a timer because I was curious. On top of that, I had to ask the technician if she was going to do my heels, which should be a basic part of the service. The flow of the pedicure also felt off. She worked on one foot, then stopped to massage my legs and apply hot towels, before going back to the other foot. Typically, the massage and hot towels should come at the end so you can actually relax and enjoy the experience. Overall, the service felt rushed and unorganized, especially for the price. It was frustrating and not what I expected from an upgraded pedicure. read more

I never leave negative reviews, but I feel customers should know about my experience here. My sister and I went to the salon on August 18th, and we both wanted mani/pedi's. During our pedicure selection, we noticed they were out of almost every product/enhancement until you got to the very expensive pedicure options, which, to me, is a red flag that the salon is not prepared to offer the options on their menu. During our pedicures, my sister arrived with a small, closed blister on her toe; her technician ripped it open and then placed her foot back into the pedicure water, where the faucet was also left submerged in the water during both of our services, which obviously raised serious sanitation concerns.  I also asked for a hot tea, which was offered on their menu. I was given a wine glass full of HOT tea.. how on earth am I supposed to drink hot tea out of a wine glass?  The manicure was worse. I received builder gel with tips, but the technician applied large amounts of uncured gel all at once, causing it to run toward my skin. She cut me with the drill at least three times badly enough to cause bleeding. I told her each time that I was hurt, but she simply apologized and continued. My sister went and got the manager, and my manicurist seemed confused why he was over there. She told him that she just had the top coat to do and we would be done. Once she applied the top coat, she looked at me and asked if I still wanted the design we talked about before... this is where I got really nervous for my overall nail health because to me, that question meant she had no idea what order to apply the products and had me questioning if this salon was allowing people without a license to do people's nails.  At checkout, a different employee applied Neosporin directly to my bleeding fingers from an already-used bottle. Once we got back into the car, I realized that my nails were also filed into inconsistent shapes that did not match what I requested. The next day, my fingers became extremely painful, especially when exposed to water. Within five days, several nails were lifting, and I was still in pain, so I had them removed elsewhere. My natural nails were discolored, fragile, misshapen, and painfully sensitive, and one nail had nearly fully separated from the nail bed. I have to wear gloves in the shower and now will need months for my nails to grow out.  When we contacted the owner, Steven, he refused a refund and accused me of lying, doctoring the photos of my nails, and insinuating that I was trying to scam the salon. A little compassion, an apology, and accountability would have gone a long way. Because of the injuries, sanitation concerns, resulting nail damage, and the owner's response, I cannot recommend this salon, and honestly would discourage anyone from ever going here. read more

Terrible Service ‼ I went for lash extensions (1st time at the business) no I didn't have an appointment but I was told 15-20 minutes. it was as if they hoped I left which I did instead of giving me service? They we walking around talking and pointing at me but never serviced me? I asked after waiting for some time. how much longer. I was then told that the person was busy? it was NEVER mentioned when I walked in read more

I've been going here for years. I prefer Rose as my nail tech. She is gentle, artistic, and kind.

I was just in the area and wanted a quick fill in and saw this place. The inside is very clean and gorgeous. I was greeted at the door and helped being seated. Lisa was my nail tech and did an amazing job on my SNS service. I really don't mind driving 30 minutes just for another fill. It will be worth it. Thank you Anna Spa. Xoxo read more

Super pleasant experience with Yel. Pedicure was amazing perfect in every way. Yettttt when I got ny nails done (I don't remember her name ‍) I was apologizing too much. Meaning I wanted a certain way for my nails to be done. I understand that the color didn't match exactly to the t to ny toes but I had to explain too many tines what I wanted to not really be satisfied. Worse was when I paid i felt slightly bullied (passive aggressive) into giving a tip. I def would have just for Yel she went above and beyond and for pedicures especially that stone one i truly loved. But all in all beside a small issue i like the place. Update 2022 I decided to go back fir a pedicure. Set an appointment at 4:30pm and almost 5 pm still no one seated me for the pedicure. On the contrary I was sent back to be seated at the front. So I walked out and took my business elsewhere. NEVER AGAIN!! I QUIT PLEASE DO MOT TAKE WALK INS IN FRONT OF AN APPOINTMENT ALREADY MADE!!! read more

I got my nails done back on july 23rd. the lady that did my nails cut my fingers, didn't size the acrylic tips to my actual nail, she just laid one down. she left lumps of acrylic on my nails without smoothing it out, while also leaving acrylic ON MY SKIN. I wanted to give them another chance from the time before this and it just proved I can't go back. I had to go somewhere else to get them fixed. When I called the salon they said that the owner would call me back with what she could do if I sent in pictures, I never got a response. So not only did I have to pay $70 for nails that were awful, I also had to pay to get them fixed. Overall, I don't recommend going here. Another thing that boggled my brain was that the lady that did my nails told me she didn't know how to do a simple french tip. they were square. read more

This was my first time at this spa/salon and I will say I was impressed. The wait time was short and the nail tech did what I asked in regards to the color and design I wanted. The nail tech was also very nice! However, when I returned home I noticed wet polish on some of my fingers and found that some of my nails had gel polish lifting/oozing. I'm not sure if my nails weren't left under the light long enough or what, but it was a bit annoying trying to figure out which nails it was coming from. I'd definitely go back but I'll make sure they are dry before leaving. *UPDATE* Went back today and they fixed my nails without hesitation. I got the same technician who was more than willing to fix the problem. read more

I went today and got a gel pedicure, was only suppose to be around $60, ended up paying $85 before tip for some reason... Plus during my service the woman ignored the color choose i wanted and then told me after the she was "scrubbing" my feet that it would be $10 extra... i thought that was part of the pedicure. I will not be bad! Such a Rip off! read more

So I use to go to Ann's nails a long time ago maybe 6 years ago . I stopped going due to the disrespectful workers. Well my husband didn't know and he got me a certificate for Christmas so 2 weeks ago exactly I got a full set. I noticed the women was not putting Glue, she was using the purple liquid that you use for the acrylic, then applying glue on top?? I'm like wth whatever. So after only one week a nails falls off two days later another nail, so i have a total of 5 nails on 5 nails that fell off! Not popped off but just fell off! I'm highly pissed off spending $60 on nails tht just fall off is ridiculous!!! I will NOT be going back I advice anybody of they do to watch these people closely!!! I thought about going to say something face to face but I've seen that get people nowhere in the nail salons so here is my review!!!! Left hand and right hand! read more

Worst nail salon I ever went to, I had my chicken so they sat me way in the back with cold pedicure water and had me back there for 40 mins when I got up I seen they have taken other customers I complained they all of a sudden had someone, they made my son drop his iPad into the pedicure water that I got stuck with paying to replace! Also, told me it was a $25 up charge for gel because I already had gel on my toes, I walked out! read more

Came in and customers service was great, but the lack of communication when it comes to what a customer wants is horrible I asked multiple times for my toe nail to be straight and the nail tech wasn't getting what I was saying kept having to bring the lead nail tech to understand which is completely fine but not professional at all and very frustrated I had 2 people working on my nails and almost took 2 hours for me to get my toes done which is unacceptable I arrived at 1 and still haven't got my nails on my hands done. Thanks read more

Do not have great expectations at this salon. They have extremely high employee turnover rate. You will never see the same nail technician three times. They have lost great experienced talented nail technicians with great customer service employees due to horrible management. The employees are treated like they are in a sweat shop. There is a clear perspective the management do not appreciate or value their employees nor client retention. They look at customers as if we are only ATMs at front desk no personal relational skills at all go get your color. There is no customer appreciation reward point system but price increase occurs often. Don't come with expectations because you will not see any. Disgraceful. read more

I use to love this place but after in two weeks with two different people doing my nails after 107 (97 with 10 for tip) on my feet I had to redo myself 85 ( 75 plus 10) two nails broke off while opening one pack of socks 4 days after I got them done then I came back to get them cut down 65 (55 plus 10) and they are not even one I AM disappointed in this place so my next appointment will not be here I wasted enough money read more

My daughter and I went here today. I wanted a simple manicure and she got a full set. Terrible! My gel polish was apparently too thick and she had a hard time with it. She put on three coats of color, left with the polish, came back and filed some of the gel polish off and then reapplied more. The color on my nails is so thick that it's bumpy. My daughter's nails were crooked and many parts were not polished thoroughly. She has missed spots throughout the white tips. I paid $105 and she had to come home and shape up the nails herself and add some white to the tips. I guess I'll just live with my bumpy nails until the polish starts coming off. I do not recommend this place. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. My daughter and I were seated at the same time and both getting new SNS polish. The woman who was doing my nails wrapped my fingers in acetone and disappeared -for 35 minutes! I had to ask someone to call her back because my fingers were BURNING. She checked one finger and put the wrap back. I asked her to remove them (because my fingers were burning) so she did. Then shrugged and walked away. I was upset and complained. We waited an hour to even be seated, and I was so upset at the turn of events. I asked to speak to someone at the front desk and wouldn't ya know it... it was her. She patted me on the shoulder, mumbled something and then walked away. A few minutes later (just as my daughter was finishing up - with the exact same service I was in for) she came over and asked if I was ready to finish my nails?! No! At this point I'd been there for two hours, and had nothing but two hands of half-melted SNS polish. I had no more time to waste (on my only day off) on their crappy, garbage service. I had to remove the rest of the polish myself, because she would do nothing but leave acetone on until I had chemical burns. In short, it's a terrible place. Do yourself a favor, and go ANYWHERE else. Oh, and as an added bonus, you can't tip with a card anymore. read more

The host and the building were nice, and the vibe was chill. What wasn't chill was when the nail tech thought it would be ok to roll her eyes and under her breath scoff at me for asking her fix something that was wrong with the nails. I did ask her to change the design because she didn't have the right materials and it honestly looked bad. The original design had some stars and gems. It honestly seemed like she just had a problem with me being there. She was low-key rude, she cut my pinkys , and she was honestly rushing to get me out. the nails look fine but just the experience was not good. Maybe don't go with Kate read more

ZERO STARS. I'm paying you to do my nails how i want them not how you want them. Every step of the way i was telling her how i wanted them and she completely ignored me. These are the worst nails I have ever gotten. I got gel and the polish under the top coat is still wet, it is on my actual fingers, and there is dust under the polish. My cuticles are bleeding and she drilled a hole in my skin behind my nail. I will not be coming here again. read more

Used old nail polish and layered and layered with no dry time at all in between so it was tacky and just wouldn't dry. Thirty minutes later when we "thought it was dry the whole top of the polish slid back. Called them and when I went back to have them fix their mistake, I waited 45 minutes until I finally left. I'm going to be honest this is my second time coming here and both times I'm not pleased at all with the prices, service and all around experience I had. I live in Lincolton so this salon in Gastonia is the closest place I'd like to come to but also I have to make a drive to this place so I'd love to have a good experience but that was less then the case today. I went today to get a full set and it was busy so they told me it would be 45 minutes and I'm okay with that but I waited over 45 and was rushed the whole time when I sat. I felt like the woman doing my nails just wanted me up and out and she didn't even ask me if I liked how they looked. My left middle finger is deformed, my right thumb nail is shorter then my left, and my pointer finger nails are both shorter then all the rest of my set. All around I will not waste my time or money coming to this salon anymore, you are lied to and rushed the moment you walk in. I'm going to making a drive to further I don't care. Awful experience! read more

I will not be back. Just because your store gets busy does not mean that you rush on peoples nails or feet. I am very disappointed in my nails. Got just a basic pedicure. I typically do my own Nails but at 5 1/2 months pregnant bending for that long is uncomfortable. None of my nails are even as far as cut down and file. The nail polish is everywhere and uneven. This is after he had to remove it from all nails the first time only after I asked when it was lumpy and looked awful. Even had to change nail polish cause the one being used was awful and would not go on evenly. I'm sure that's why there is bits of fibers all over my toes from the cotton ball. I have about 5 other reviews on here from when I used to get nails done where I was rather happy but this is annoying and disappointing. 30 dollars completely wasted. read more

I went on a Wednesday with my two kids who sat very quietly and patiently. While getting my SNS fill in, the woman put acetone on my nails and walked away and was gone for 25 minutes. When she came back, she rushed and when I asked her to cut them shorter, she didn't want to until I asked her again. I got black tips. The black powder is under the clear and looks horrible. She did not offer me a shade of pink. She picked for me. At the end when I was blown away at the price of $55 for a fill in, she was starring at me (I assume waiting for a tip) I instead signed and left. I wasn't about to sit for another hour and 15 for them to fix this since i had my kids. Instead I will take my business else where. read more

Won't be back. I don't consider myself a picky person, but the basics at-least need to be done!!! Pedicure- almost no complaints. The lady realized the color I chose was too light and it wouldn't have looked good so she switched to a similar blue and it turned out great. My only complaint with my pedicure is I got a basic gel pedicure and it was $65 +tip. My manicure was another story. I asked for a basic SNS French manicure. Now to my knowledge a "basic manicure" includes have your cuticles trimmed and soaked? Maybe I'm wrong but every nail salon I've ever been to has done this before they ever touch my nails. This did NOT happen. I sat down and he started filing my nails and then dipped them for the powder and was done in 30 mins. My cuticles are still a mess. So now I have a pretty French with ugly fingers for $55+ tip. I probably won't be back. A basic gel pedicure and what was supposed to be a basic French SNS manicure cost me $140. read more

I had heard some great things about this place, so I thought I'd give it a chance. I came in around 4-5pm and was able to get seated within 5mins. I got a quick gel polish, but I repeatedly had to tell them to get the sides and remove the gel polish from my skin surrounding the nail.
