Zero rating-the nail tech was very rude to my 11 year old daughter. Instead if asking her to move her hand, she would pull it and hit it. When asked to not do it, she ignored me. After clipping her cuticles, she put the pile of skin on my daughter's hand and said-look at all of that skin. Totally unprofessional. Take your daughter anywhere else! read more

My service for a dip nail was good, went back to have them taken off, and they didn't soak them off. They just popped them off. Needed a shellac clear polish after that and was given some more drilling to file down my nails for a shellac... I don't think that standard practice. I absolutely used to love going to this nail salon! They do a very good job me and my 10-year-old today went and got her nails done and they charged us $300. There is absolutely no reason to get a fill on my nails and a design for $130 that's not including the toes or anything so I think they're Overcharging big-time. read more

I went in last Friday for a fill and got in no problem. Everything was great with my nails until it wasn't. I broke a corner off of one which was my fault (no problem). The next day the paint on two nails had come almost completely off. I went in today to get them fixed and said they'd take care if it. Cool! I was unaware that instead of fixing the nails I would be receiving a fill for free that I didn't need because the nails were less than a week old. But that wasn't the problem, the guy took off so much length (I would guess 1/8") and now they are so thick and uneven. I had a rounded square shape before and now they are pretty much rounded completely. Left in tears because I just needed the paint fixed which I expressed and was ignored. Also had 4 techs surrounding me the whole time which was very uncomfortable. Will not be returning unfortunately. read more

Love, love, love. Always a pleasant experience here! I get gel acrylic and I highly recommend Sara--she's thorough, consistent, and does incredible designs. Added bonus: they have a 10 day return policy if a nail breaks or chips (although, I haven't had to use it!!). Excellent customer service--everyone is so kind & sweet. I have been patronizing Ann's spa for about 10 years now. Recommended everyone there! Last Friday I had made an appt. with Patrick at 1:00. I got there 5 minutes late and they had given someone else my 1:00 appt. WHAT? Ann walked by and I asked here if this is their new policy. She said "it's a holiday weekend, we didn't think you were coming" I said do you know how long I've been coming here?" Terrible, Terrible, terrible!!!! Went in for a manicure and after saying "no" to a shellack several times, I got a less than stellar manicure. The only difference in the shellack and the manicure I got was that I was not under UV setting light. Yes, the polish chipped after a few days but regular polish remover won't take it off. I spent 15 minutes getting my manicure and was moved through as quickly as possible to make way for higher ticket customers. I went in for a manicure to get my cuticles cleaned up and they were barely touched. Not going back. read more

A few weeks ago I came in asking for a dip manicure, and the nail tech I had, Billy, berated me when I was unsure about what shape I wanted my nails to be. He then put acrylics and shellac on my nails despite me telling him I wanted dip multiple times. He would not drop it and kept pressuring me, it was so uncomfortable the entire time. He didn't even file my nails in a consistent shape, one of my fingers looks broken because of how wonky the nail is even though I asked him to reshape them multiple times. The salon was very clean and everyone else was very kind but he totally ruined it for me. I spoke to a friend who has gone there before and she had the same experience with him. I've been there multiple other times and never had these issues with any of the other techs. I'm so frustrated I was bullied into paying more for a manicure I didn't want. I recently bought a "Kiss Complete Salon Acrylic Nail Set" at Walgreens (basically a DIY acrylic nails kit) and today I decided to give myself acrylics with it so I followed instructions and lets just say they did not turn out well. I started crying because long story short I'm going to a Billie Eilish concert in 3 days and I wanted Acrylics so bad and these were NOT IT SIS. My grandma took me to Ann's Nail Spa to get them removed and get a new full set of Acrylics. When I sat down at the first nail tech he took one look at my nails and said something too another worker in Korean I'm guessing (sorry I'm not trying to be offensive!!) and then said he wouldn't do mine and he was super rude about it. This whole time he wasn't even speaking to me directly at all, just switching for English to Korean(?) talking to his fellow workers. Imagine a 14 yo girl (me) shrugging down to try and hide in a chair while a grown man humiliated her. I'm not exaggerating; I was trying not to cry while all these old women around me getting manicures were staring into my soul. He ended up "wrapping" my nails. (Putting acetone on a cotton ball and putting it on top of my nails and wrapping them both in tinfoil) After sitting alone for awhile looking super weird with these chunky tinfoil things on my nails another lady nail tech told me to come to her. She was very kind and took the previous self given acrylics off me and gave me a beautiful new set! I don't know if I will go back but the one dude gave me a bad impression of the place. read more

You would think with the over saturated nail salon market in Lincoln, competition to provide the best service would be abundant, but not at Ann's. I requested one pedicure and seated to place my feet in lukewarm water, then waited for 15 minutes to begin my spa service (which is fine, bc I like to soak but someone could've have asked if the temp of the water was ok). But once my nail technician began the service, she jumped right in, didn't ask which pedicure service I wanted, which was fine since I think if I opted for a more expensive service it likely would have been subpar. Their services outlined in the pamphlet weren't really provided. The nail tech was pretty curt, like most of the other staff. If I were you, I'd skip and try a different place in town. read more

I usually LOVE Ann's nails. Even after moving from Lincoln, I have never found another salon that compares. Yesterday I went in to get a full-set and got NiNi. Not only was she incredibly rude to me, but she also did a pretty awful job. At one point I asked her to reshape a few of my nails as they were uneven and she actually threw the nail file at me and told me to do it myself. My nails are misshapen and super thick, i've never had such a terrible nail job before. It would be one thing if she was just rude, but to also do a poor job was enough for me to write a review. Typically I love Ann's Nail Spa, but this was a terrible experience for me. I will be back, but will be sure I request someone else besides NiNi. read more

Ann's Nails was my go-to for mani/pedis for a long time, but recently I started trying a few other places around town. I still think Ann's is the best, and pretty much the only place I'll go for pedis (putting my feet in the bins at most nail places GROSSES me out - Ann's is always very clean). However, Ann's is always busy. No matter what day/time I go, and more than once they've started my pedi (basically just had me sit in the chair and soak) and then let me sit for 30-45 minutes before finishing it. This drives me crazy. Also, it seems like I always get assigned to one particular girl who I don't like at all - she is super rough when removing old shellac and always barks "RELAX!" at me. Uh, hello, yelling at someone is not a good way to get them to relax. Anyway, I'm sure I'll still go to Ann's from time to time, but the few bad experiences combined with the fact that it's clear across town for me means it's no longer my #1 spot. Shellac from here almost always lasts the full 2 weeks, and they have a lot more colors than some of the other places in Lincoln. read more

So i started frequenting Ann's a while back because my mom's friend recommended it to me. I went maybe 3 times and had a decent experience, enough to come back. So I returned again for a fill on my acrylics. I got a different lady than the times before and she was super rough with my nails. She ended up cutting me pretty bad (you can see in the picture) and I started bleeding. She didn't give me a towel or anything to stop the bleeding, I just kind of had to put pressure on it with my other nail. After that the nail tech got pretty angry. After all that, my nails looked okay. But right as she was finishing with the drill and about to paint my nails, she got out the super rough (sand paper-like) still. She went over my nails super hard and made these giant gashes in them. They had lines all across each of them and they looked horrible. I'm not usually one to speak up, but I asked her if she could smooth them down and she said no. She painted them and sent me on my way. read more

I've been to Ann's Nail Spa in the past and they have done an okay job, but this last time I got a pedicure and a manicure (they were both deluxe). The pedicure was very minimal. They barely did anything except put some lotion on and paint my nails. Then with my manicure, all they did was paint my nails and make a small design on my ring finger. They used to also put it on my thumb nail without paying another extra 3 bucks. No lotion or a full experience that comes with a manicure. Honestly it wasn't worth my money. read more

My usual nail salon was booked on a Saturday no surprise there. so I called around to see who could get us in the soonest and this place said they could get us in right away as we were picking our colors and somebody else came in and they gave them our chairs and so then we had to wait. they sat us down in our chairs and we sat there for 25 minutes before anybody came to start on us, by then my water and my friends were both freezing cold. The lady that was doing my toes was talking to another client and fat shaming somebody I didn't care for the conversation. My toes did not get the attention that they deserve even from a minimalist Point of view. It was one of the worst pedicures, It felt so rushed and the place was quiet busy yet looked like it needed a good scrub down overall I was very disappointed and glad that I ended up not getting a manicure because I was so disappointed with my pedicure I don't recommend this place. read more

Horrible. We used to think this place was cleaner than typical salons. They pull out their tools from sanitation bags, that indicate their tools have been autoclaved (there's no other reason for those little blue bags... other than to deceive customers, I guess). On one occasion, two of us went in for pedicures and we both came out with horribly infected toes. Both of our ladies had pulled the tools out of those sanitation bags, then when they were done they sprayed them off, and put them right back into the bags and sealed them, then put them back with their things. One of us is immunocompromised so that was a huge deal, and the reason we went in the first place was because we thought there was less risk of infection. I went back, only for a polish change this time (I wasn't risking another infection, and it was all I needed). When I didn't upgrade to a full pedicure, the woman got incredibly rude, didn't speak to me, and when I was done she threw my shoes at me and walked away. I couldn't believe it. Another time they let me sit in the corner for an hour, while taking back people who had come in after me. They were rude when I mentioned politely that I had been waiting for an hour, and made it seem that it was my fault for sitting in the corner chair (like that makes sense). Horribly unprofessional, and don't be deceived by how "clean" it looks. We have given them multiple chances. Never again. read more
