partner took me birthday thrift shopping and i am super happy we came here…read more an overwhelming amount of quality stuff from authentic vintage to new with tags - a one stop shop from housewares, furniture, gear, shoes, clothes, sundries, y más prices reasonable and of course for a worthy cause the only con was there is only one dressing room - and of course we hit a day where one inconsiderate woman spent WAY too long trying on their "maximum 6 items" (def had more) - i tried on the 20+ items i had over a tank top and under a skirt while waiting in line (i always thrift this way in case there is no change room) ALL while waiting for her to finish & she was in there before i even got in line! staff might want to monitor a bit more & do something when multiple people waiting in line complain as we did - both to the woman and to staff aside from that annoyance - i am extremely happy with my birthday thrift spree here!!!!!!

I've visited this thrift store a handful of times in the past couple years, to see if it's…read moreimproved. The management changed, promising more affordable prices. However, from an outside perspective, it doesn't seem like much has changed at all. In fact, I feel like it's gotten more expensive, and more picky with what items they put out on the floor. In general, it just feels like a boutique now. It's clean, well thought out, there are fancy, cool items, and a few more affordable things. If that's what you're after, you'll probably enjoy this thrift store. I guess I'm still stuck in the past, when it was truly affordable and had a wider range of items. When it really felt like a thrift store. Now, whenever I go there, I leave with nothing. I don't think it'll ever be like it was before, and while I truly hope that the new business model works well for them, since their mission is important, I can't see myself stopping by anymore.

From start to finish, my experience with HSW and Dr. Kirsten has been stellar…read more I am particularly protective (and prone to crying fits) when it comes to my beloved Lunchbox. For the first time in her short life, we had to leave her at the vet's overnight for a TPLO surgery. In the lead-up to the surgery, Dr. Kirsten provided us with direct, clear information and presented us with our various options. In contrast to the clinic where we nearly had the TPLO surgery done, Dr. Kirsten and her staff were deeply understanding when I started sobbing when dropping Lunchbox off. Dr. Kirsten's love for dogs is palpable and I felt fully confident that I was leaving my precious dog in capable, loving, and compassionate hands. Lunchbox was so well cared for while at HSW and the entire staff went out of their way to avoid incurring extra charges for us, to make Lunchbox comfortable, and to make the entire experience as painless and minimally traumatic as possible. Post-surgery communication with the office was wonderful, and they fielded my stressed-out phone calls for days afterward with grace and patience. Durango is lucky to have such wonderful veterinary care available!

I have three weenie dogs, and we were so happy when Home Sweet Home re-opened under new ownership…read more Dr. Hawkins provides compassionate care that is really focused on the wellbeing of the whole family. Her office has a small town feel, she knows my pups by name, and has wonderful flexibility to ensure they have the best care. For example, my dogs have a history of adverse vaccine reactions. She ensured that they were seen in the morning (a time when she typically performs surgery) so if they had a reaction I could call her office instead of paying emergency vet fees. I know the vet is wonderful when my dogs don't mind going. I highly recommend her clinic. XOXO Jamie, Vivienne, Lowgan, Landon and Puzzle

Very disappointing! Not worth the hassle. Creature Comforts recommended this service, and I thought…read moreI would try it. Firstly, she brought her two large dogs to my apartment complex, which are not allowed to begin with. The dogs kept barking very loudly before and during handing over my cat to her. She botched his fur and shaved him so short on his body and left his face and tail untouched. She shaved him so much shorter than what we discussed. Then, I thought she had a wrap of some kind with open leg holes to work on his nails, but actually was just holding him down on a metal table. He looked so scared and uncomfortable. When she brought him back up to me, she proudly announced that she found out my cat was a girl! Ridiculous. Even after telling her the paperwork I received from the Humane Society and surgery information, she still proclaimed that his testicles area was a vulva...... Apparently to her, the people at the Humane Society "mess up all the time." I have a female cat who is 6 months old. You can tell with your eyes and looking information online to know that their genitals look and are located in different areas. My two year old cat she looked at is most definitely a male with obvious evidence that he had testicles. I have no idea what she was thinking!? Wish I could give this a ZERO star review. Very annoying encounter and would not recommend this woman to give your pet a grooming service!
