They offer a variety of classes like Zumba, Muevelo, Strong Nation, and weight training. I've tried a lot of them and the trainers are really good. The gym is a little older but they have been updating some areas like the classroom and main floor on the second floor. Classes are affordable compared to other places so if you are in the area I would recommend trying it out. I've tried some classes using Class Pass and the schedule is not always up to date so I would call them to ensure classes are actually happening. Most classes are in Spanish so if you don't speak the language just let them know so they can explain anything if necessary but most likely you can just follow the instructor and shouldn't have any issues (specially with dance classes)

I have been training with them for seven (!) years, when I was still a grad student with limited disposable income. But I am so glad that I have invested - and grown - with them. Adriana (the owner) has curated an awesome space where folks of every fitness level are able to challenge themselves. The trainers (especially "OGs" like Ariel and Alvaro) demonstrate a level of passion in working with you that I've seen in few - if any - other gyms. There's a level of skill, professionalism, and maturity in their sessions that few other trainers seem to grasp. It explains the loyalty of their ever-growing clientele, which include not just hardcore "gym rats", but also college students, seniors, and regular working professionals. One of the great things about Push is the variety in trainer styles and personalities. Depending on what you look for in coaching, there is someone there for everyone. I would be remiss if I didn't comment on the complaints below about Ariel being "rude" and "condescending" to women. That is nonsense. Ariel is a straight-forward, extremely focused trainer who is constantly paying attention to your in-the-moment needs (form, capacity, etc.) as well as your long-term goals. The reality is your body is actually capable of slightly more than you think it is (which is one of the reasons to work with a trainer, no?). So yes, he will often encourage you to improve your form, or to increase your reps, based on his experience (and he will be to-the-point in that delivery). At the same time - and I cannot emphasize this more - you will never feel unsafe with him (or anyone). There have been many times that he has scaled back or modified my workouts before I even have to ask him to. Frankly, this is my preferred training style; I'm a direct/straightforward person and appreciate the same in others. But Push will always be able to provide you with the type of workout that best suits your needs (and actually encourages you to work with the trainers you respond to best). Every class was appropriate with the energy, pacing, and enthusiasm from the instructors, and seemed to have a wonderful supportive community of participants. this game is awesome! Dean in Little Havana there's a very strong Latin culture element, and many of the patrons speak limited English, but are super friendly and more than happy to meet you halfway if you try even a little bit. Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that dates back to the slavery era in Bahia, Brazil. Unlike any other form of martial art, capoeira is practiced with music. Without music there is no capoeira, as the moves performed are driven by the rhythmic sounds of the atabaque (similar to a conga drum), the berimbau (a stringed instrument that resembles a bow), and the pandeiro (like a tamborine). A true capoeirista not only masters the moves, but also masters the instruments. Capoeira Sol e Lua provides the groundwork to lead even a new student upon the path to becoming an excellent capoeirista. Sol e Lua is led by Instructora India, an amazing teacher who strives to get the very best out of her students. Classes meet on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. On MWF Beginners class goes from 6:30-8:00pm and the Advanced level class goes from 8:00-9:00pm. On Saturdays, a music class goes from 10-11am, and the all-levels class goes from 11am-12noon. It should be noted, however, that beginners are encouraged to attend the advanced levels classes as most of the classes are mixed anyways. Drop-in rates are $15 a class, but reasonably priced monthly rates with unlimited classes are also available. Capoeira has provided me with one of the best workouts I have ever experienced. It really pushes you to challenge yourself, both mentally and physically. While the workouts are tough, they are a lot of fun. There is space to store belongings on the side and back of the room. A smoothie bar for snacks and quick meals is also located on the first floor. All the equipment can be found on the second and third floors, all machines are new and in great condition. Fit Avenue is located on the last floor, this is a separate gym for heart rate - based HIIT workouts with treadmills, row machines and weights. They use heart monitors to track your progress. They offer a kidzone to take care of your children while you work out ($5 a day or $60 membership) and they also sell Zumba wear next to the front desk.
