Sure, California may be experiencing drought, but if you have a garden section, guess what? You need to water your plants. Lowes has started skipping that step but wouldn't dream of knocking a penny off plants that are already in distress when purchased. Home Depot does a slightly better job, but only by a nose. Shopping at Home Depot is generally unpleasant because the stores are, well, warehouses. Wilco has a much smaller garden section, but they tend what they have. They also intermix some unusual or unique plants with common ones which gives the feeling of shopping in a small nursery. Finally, their prices are better than either Lowes or HD. In addition, Wilco is the place to get bird seed for your outdoor birders like me. Lowes has rats they can't control so they quit carrying seed. HD went to tubs, but they don't have the variety that Wilco has. My only issue with Wilco is its sale of live chicks. I get it. Its a farm store. I disapprove but I get it.

When I needed to find something and a very nice young woman helped me as best she could, but then had to get the Manager. Patricia, Mgr., was visibly irritated that I was still looking for something--I had been waiting for her. She found what I wanted, but as I was looking at it, she stated, in a terse voice "we're closed now." I put the item down as I do understand they want to go home. I just felt like instead of standing there glaring at me she might've offered some additional assistance. Instead, I put the item down as I didn't have time to make sure it was the right size and I didn't have time to look for the other strap that I needed that was there on display, but I was not permitted to purchase what I needed. At this time, it was approximately 7:04. To General manager: Patricia needs customer service training--or she needs a different job that does not include interacting with customers. I spent over $400 between the blanket and a gift for someone. Both employees, NOT Patricia, were nice. They smiled and they were helpful. Upon my leaving, the first gal gave me a friendly smile and wished me a good night. When I had walked away from Patricia and I told her thank you, she did not reply. I did say it loud enough for her to hear. I should think that a customer dropping over $400 should be given at least common courtesy. I know if I were the general manager, I would want to know how my managers of each store were treating the customers. I really like the store and it is an hour away from me. I am tempted to come back, but this was quite an unpleasant experience.

The shot vet visits make it super easy to drive over after reserving a slot for our dogs and not having to deal with lines and pet drama while making sure our dogs stay current on their vaccines. I love that they sell chicks and pullets basically all the time, and their selection seems like it's always pretty good on variety and health of their animals. When I have the opportunity to do local business over some big chain, I always try to opt for it, and frizelle enos is one I gladly choose over the chain competition.

About six months ago I reported that a wormer I purchased had a broken plunger (for horses). They would not let me replace it without bringing in the broken plunger -- Fair enough. When I did bring in the broken wormer they refused to replace it -- a $17 loss on my part. I will never shop here again. They carry the same products at Tractor Supply and Chewy that are less expensive and I will not have a problem with returns. Rivertown Feed and Pet Country are simply AWFUL!!!

They said he'd call or text to confirm anyway I called the store twice and both times she said she'd let him know. This thing is very heavy and I certainly can't move it by myself and all there is is myself to relocate it. All they had to do was call so I could tell them to put it to the left (which is well hidden) and instead, they didn't call and just dropped it off when I was in a meeting and didn't know they were here. They put it to the right of my driveway which is visible on a VERY busy street. All it will take is 2 or 3 people to come by at night and steal it. I'm stuck though - can't move it anywhere as I have no one to help with it. If this gets stolen in the next four days before I can get someone to help me, I will be livid, as I didn't have an extra $500 for this to begin with, my girls just needed it. Let's also ad that they didn't even put it on concrete or gravel they literally threw it in my front yard mulch (now buried in 3" of mulch on one side and destroyed the mulch job underneath. I'm so mad right now. Can't believe I gave them $70 to be so uncommunicative and unthoughtful.

This is an actual feed mill, no middle man involved and the prices are so much better than anywhere else. We mix our own chicken feed which can be more costly than just buying commercial layer feed. However it's currently December and we are still getting a half dozen eggs a day. Mixing your own feed is absolutely worth it, and if you go to Hunt and Behrens you may actually even save money as well.
