I had finished my work for housekeeping clients being on my feet all day and desired a massage. I called ahead to check if they had openings for a walk-in tonight ( between 730 pm-9 pm) or if not today their availability for the next day. The receptionist let me know they could take a client tonight very soon ( within 15 minutes) which was great and I dashed over to get a nice 60-minute massage. There is a Wells Fargo atm in the Belair nearby to pull out cash if you prefer paying cash, they take cards as well, but I like paying in cash. The massage was nice full body covering all the areas I needed. I enjoy having some hot stone with the session as it is an additional fee in other places. They also do hot towels too so you feel refreshed at the end. This is a good way to get some introductory to hot stone massages if you haven't tried it yet. read more

The first time it was okay but I think she was too tired, but I really liked it the second time. had Tina the second time; she does a great job. $80 for couples special where they do 60 minutes for half reflexology and half back massage for two. Good price, good location and friendly service. Can improve on music speakers quality, having a door or something to have it quiet in the first massage area, and English comprehension. I had my first and last message at this place. I was pleased until the massage therapist tried to rub all my makeup off my face. Then he proceeded to message my scalp. That was very uncomfortable because I have twists. It would be nice if they ask you first. Very sweet lady at the reception. I called at 1 for foot massage appointment for 2 people at 5PM on a Saturday and she quickly checked and booked us. On arriving we wanted a full body massage and she was still about to accommodate. What a fantastic experience I had here with my girlfriend. From the moment I called the people were super friendly and very attentive. As soon as you walk in it's the same. Seems like everybody really wants you to experience a wonderful massage. I really appreciate it how fast people were moving to accommodate. I hate to give Anna's Massage three stars but my experience here was rather unusual. I came in on Sunday morning because I was experiencing extreme neck and shoulder pain. I wanted to go to my chiropractor but, he doesn't work on Sundays. I called one chiropractor office and they told me I could not come in for an adjustment because they did not know my history with getting adjustments from my primary chiropractor. I came into Anna's Massage and they offered to give me a one hour massage which I agreed to. They first had me lay on a bed and they placed my feet in boiling hot water which felt amazing. She then massaged my feet and legs then she placed some oil on my legs then...wait for it, she started massaging my legs then hitting them; punching them if you will. I gasped a few times because it hurt. I was then taken into a room that had zen music and low lighting fixtures and burning candles which created a very relaxing mood. I laid on my stomach and and she started massaging my neck and shoulders and my back too. Then she started hitting my arms and my back which hurt; I clenched my teeth a few times because of the pain. When the massage was over, I collected my bag and car keys and went up to the front to pay. Being the nice person I am, I gave the woman a tip but, my neck and shoulders were still hurting; maybe even worse then when I came in. I had massages before and they were incredibly relaxing and my body felt amazing afterwards; I have never had a massage like this ever in my life. I came home and I was still in a tremendous amount of pain. The next day, I had bruises on my legs and arms from the hitting and punches (even though they were light punches, they still hurt). I don't think I will come back for another massage here in the future; I will just stick to getting my adjustments with my chiropractor. read more

Went there the other night. I made an appointment and still had to wait an extra 15 minutes. Not sure what everyone is talking about on yelp as this place had a high rating. Really there's nothing special about this place. It is an Asian massage business and I ended up with grandma. As she was rubbing my back I could hear and feel her joints popping which wasn't the best. She kept having to stop the massage just to catch her breath. Quite frankly I will never go there again. Ive been going to Anna's Massage for the past 18 mos. I have chronic severe musculoskeletal pain, and get a deep tissue therapeutic massage every 2 weeks. Anna's Massage has the best massage therapists of all the massage places I've ever gone. And I've been getting massages for over 20 years. One of the owners, Dora, does all the phone answering and scheduling. She's always very accommodating, and will do her best to get you in when you need/ want that massage. She also gives clients a stamp card. Get $20 off a session after buying 10. Their prices are lower than average. Although I've enjoyed sessions with most of the therapists, I have my faves (they know where I hurt, which areas to concentrate on, what techniques I like, and how much pressure to apply. Having said that, every massage therapist at Anna's is excellent! They are very well trained, super polite modest, and friendly. You will def enjoy a massage at Anna's!
