I found those, as well as a bounty of excellent looking produce and one of the largest collections of local goods and groceries I've seen. A clerk pointed me to their local chocolates and candies section, and I was able to get some bourbon balls and modjeskas -- dark chocolate modjeskas, in fact, a first for me. And during my short trip, I noticed several local brands represented, as well as great options for pre-made meals. I feel like Paul's would also be fun to shop at for a party. You could find lots of dips and other party foods to show off. A few years ago I also ordered some fruit baskets here for my kid's teachers. I visited this week to select an anniversary card for my parents. Most of the selection for parents was specific years, which knocked out several options, and what was left wasn't anything special. I've found prettier cards at the Dollar Tree. Overall the shop felt crowded, and much of it was due to the cheap ornaments lining the outside borders of the store. The sign says Hallmark but this one feels like a downgraded version. If you can drive to the Middletown location. I'd recommend doing that.

I was intimidated by the venue because of the space and height of the ceilings but Maria was so knowledgeable (and patient) and a true expert in not only utilizing the space and natural decor that the Henry Clay offers, but also translating my often scattered ideas into a tangible vision. I live in New York (my parents are in Louisville) and Maria met with me every time I was home as well as met with my mom several times to perfect the design and decor. She was arrived even before we did the day of the wedding and spent all day making sure everything was set up exactly right. She worked with us on the lighting, placement, and worked with with our florist and the Henry Clay on-site team to get all the details exactly right. Maria was an absolute dream to work with and our wedding would not have been what it was without her. She is also very helpful working within budgets and maximizing decor and design based on those budgetary concerns. The pictures do not do Maria and her design skills justice. Will definitely be using her in the future for any party decor/lighting rental needs in the future. Don't hesitate to use her--she will exceed every expectation you have and take your wedding to the next level.
