We also advise clients on skin tone, which colours suit them best to make them look there very best.
Precision haircutting is our standard, a perfectly executed haircut lasts and will be easy to style and maintain at home. We offer home care advice, the best shampoo, conditioner, mask, styling products and any styling tips will be passed on. We provide styling evenings, where clients and their friends can learn how to style their hair in a fun and informative session with Anna.
History
Established in 2011.
Anna renovated an old shop in Gifford, East Lothian into a salon in 2011. After seven successful years in Gifford, Anna decided to move too much bigger premises in Haddington. Although the building was beautiful, it was rife with problems and proved a steep learning curve for Anna, with staff problems and cold surroundings. When Anna's close friend died on Xmas eve 2018, she began to take stock and realised how unhappy she had become and how far her business was from her original vision and how excellent the service was before the move. It was time to relocate again! Anna has now renovated her two spare rooms in her house, into a beautiful, fully fitted salon. She wishes she had moved to her home a long time ago but didn't regret moving from Gifford as it's been a great experience and very enriching in lots of ways.
Anna's loyal clients have been incredibly supportive and are enjoying the new salon, and also love how happy Anna is.
Meet the Business Owner: Anna M.
For the past decade, Anna has lived and worked in Scotland. Anna has been in the hairdressing industry for 23 years and loves her craft. After qualifying in 2001, Anna gained experience working for and alongside some genuinely brilliant hairstylists and colourists in Yorkshire, before moving to Manchester to work as a colour educator for Wella Professionals, and then years later moved to Scotland to work for Goldwell in the same role. In 2011 Anna opened her first salon and has gone from strength to strength over the past eight years. Anna continues to update her skills and knowledge and also runs colour training courses for salons and stylist's across the U.K. and believes in passing on her wealth of knowledge. Anna enjoys fitness, spending time with her friends and family, reading and cooking. Anna has a passion for her pets! A real lover of life.
