He's extremely bright, friendly, and truly understands how to make therapy functional and tailored to real-world movement.   From day one, he took the time to explain what was going on with my injury, why certain exercises mattered, and how to progress safely without setbacks. He's encouraging without being pushy, and he strikes the perfect balance between challenging you and keeping things realistic. I've made more progress with him in a short period of time than I have with any other PT. If you want someone who actually listens, knows what they're doing, and genuinely cares about your recovery. Highly recommend.

Every member of this staff is caring, talented, and know what they are doing. People with all sorts of injuries, ages, and fitness levels were treated with dignity, respect, and care during my months I spent getting back to my level of soccer. I've always been somebody who hates going to the doctor and dentist, I actually feared going to PT, but the professionalism of this team allayed this right away. Hopefully, I never have another injury, but if I do, I know where my first appt will be.

Here's the updated version with "physical therapy" clearly included:…read more --- I went to **Hyena Rehab** for physical therapy to address lower back pain and some ongoing wrist issues, and I'm really glad I did. Austin Shutler gave me a thorough assessment that provided a clear, high-level understanding of what was going on. He identified a lack of external rotation in my hips, which was causing my lower back to compensate. What stood out most was how clearly he explained the root cause and laid out a plan to address it. Hearing his reasoning and how we could tackle the issue gave me real confidence in the physical therapy process. During our sessions, we focused on targeted mobility exercises for my hips and knees. A few months in, I also had a knee sprain, and Austin adjusted the program to incorporate movements that supported both my knee and hip stability. The work was intentional and tailored to what my body needed at each stage. I've continued doing these exercises after our physical therapy sessions, and they've made a noticeable difference in how I feel throughout the day. Austin is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. The staff at Hyena Rehab are also warm and welcoming, which made every visit a positive experience. I plan to carry the lessons I learned there into my daily routine, and I feel much more equipped to take care of my body moving forward. I'd definitely recommend Hyena Rehab to anyone looking for thoughtful, effective physical therapy that addresses the root cause of their issues rather than just treating symptoms.

I tried just about everything... acupuncture, massages, various types of yoga, HIIT classes, even random exercises I found online. Nothing really worked. I even went through Kaiser, but those appointments felt rushed and I left without much direction. Working with Jeff has been a totally different experience. In the very first session he spotted the bad habits and compensation patterns I didn't even realize I had. The exercises he gave me at first looked easy, but they hit the exact problem I had been chasing for years. As I got stronger he added harder ones, and within a few sessions I could already feel the difference. The best part is he built a plan that is tailored to me and my goal of training for the LA Marathon. Now I feel stronger, more stable, and I actually understand how my body should move. After years of frustration I'm finally enjoying running again. I'm really thankful for the help and highly recommend Jeff to anyone who feels stuck like I was.

The PTs here…read moreare great and very knowledgeable, but I feel that the amenities/overall experience is not as good. Examples below. - Scheduling/Booking: At other PT establishments, I had no trouble booking online. Here, I'm unable to change my appointments online. I have to call (don't always get an answer) or text a number and coordinate with someone back and forth. Compared to online booking, this takes much longer and is overall less convenient. - Take home exercises: Here, my PT will text/airdrop me videos of my exercises and verbally give me sets and reps. After my sessions, this requires me to take notes of my own sessions and dig through my camera roll to find my exercises. At other PT establishments, my PT would update my routine online after every session. Their online platform let me see videos, and had notes regarding weights/sets/reps. Same concept, but I found that other establishments fostered a better client/patient experience by doing a bit more work in the back end. I'll reiterate that the PTs I've worked with here are excellent, their quality of care and expertise during the sessions is great. However, I do think other establishments with similar price points have shown more care for client/patient experience outside of the sessions, with easier scheduling and more efficient ways to access your care. Ultimately, this place is in a very central location for me, which beats out that of other establishments. I just hope to see some improvement in the areas not related to location and quality of care during sessions.

I took a leap of faith and bought a package of sessions as a last resort after seeing chiropractors and massage therapists. After the assessment, Vince told me that I had been using my neck muscles for all the wrong things and that this had been going on for a long time. He taught me how to strengthen the correct ones, starting with just being able to feel them. I did the exercises daily (with videos he sends me after sessions) and my neck is 95% better after a couple of months and now I'm excited to keep going and see what else in my body could improve. It's amazing how skilled everyone there is. I tell everyone about Dang PT and Vince and I'm so grateful for what they've given me.

They were more thorough in their examination of my injury than the doctor (no slight against the doctor). Their attention to and examination of the injury helped determine the proper course of physical therapy that I needed for my recovery. Within a few weeks of starting PT I was able to do activities that I had not been able to do in the preceding two months. Jeff and Shawn were generous with their time and very helpful with their explanations of each exercise, telling me the purpose of each exercise and answering my questions about proper form and execution of each one. Yes, as has been mentioned the office is small, but the care given easily offsets that minor issue. After all, it's not a hospital, it's a physical therapy space.

They handed him paperwork to fill out and since I was not with him he asked for help from one of the women in the front desk who asked another girl to help him. She showed him where to initial and sign not helping him with the last few pages that had questions for him to answer. When he went back up, Tina, who helped him asked if he still needed help and when he replied yes the second women laughed in his face. He was so extremely hurt, as a new citizen in this country arriving a couple years ago not speaking a word of English he already struggles daily, the last thing he needs is someone laughing in his face. When he called me after leaving I immediately called and asked to speak to a manager. The lady who answered who's name is Diana said that she's with a patient. I told her that my fiancée was just there and I want to know who laughed in his face. When she realized who I was her tone changed and she became rude replying "That was me but that's what he says." - I wasn't about to argue with her so I just asked for the managers name and to have her call me back. It shows how much of a low level person she is to laugh at someone else in order to make herself feel better for whatever life she has. The manager Tina, called me back saying that she was there and she did not see Diana laugh. I said so if you didn't see it then it didn't happen or you're implying that he's lying or making it up. Which she responded "I'm not saying he made it up but it didn't happen. He was frustrated with the paperwork and left." To insinuate he either imagined someone laughing directly to his face or is lying instead of apologizing is insulting on Diana's part and unprofessional on Tina's part who needs to pick her employees better or at least give them the proper training. As I was mid-sentence expressing to Tina how she needs to train them better she got upset and hung up on me. As a business owner myself I know if this would have happened in my establishment and I believed my employee, I would have still reached out to the person and apologized if they were made feel a certain way in my office. Explaining they might have misunderstood and that it was not our intent to make you feel that way. Instead they want to add insult to injury and imply he's making it up.
