While he was doing that I mentioned we needed the house pressure washed. He stated he could do that and fix some caulk issues at the same time. We agreed on a price. I pointed out a specific issue with caulk while we were talking and asked that he fix any caulk issues he found. My expectation was that he would actually look at the caulk over the entire house. He did not. He did the work when I was not at home so when I returned I asked him about what I could easily see from the ground as unfinished work. I wanted him to come back and do it right. His response was to offer me a $50 discount, meaning I needed to go find someone else and pay them to do what he didn't. We went back and forth by text with him becoming more angry and dismissive. Attached are photos of the work he did (or didn't do). His task was to pressure wash the house and fix any caulk issues. You can see for yourself the quality of his work. All of the guttering has black lines clearly visible from the ground so someone on a 40 foot ladder at eye level would have known it was dirty. The soffit face is dirty. The siding is still dirty. Several windows still have black on the bottom. Integrity shows through when nobody is looking. My experience shows me that Mr. Jessup doesn't have or demonstrate any. His blaming a customer for unfinished work does show he takes no pride in doing a good job. Update: Entire message thread posted in photos. If you are going to do the job, do the job. If not, don't take the money. I never offered to hire someone else. Read the text. I said your telling me you would give me $50 off was the same as you telling me you were not interested in finishing the job and to go hire someone else. I clearly told you I was not looking for a discount, that I wanted the work done. Either you are going to do the job or you aren't. Stop blaming me because it isn't clean and caulked. My end of the deal was paying you $370 which I have absolutely done. Your end is the one one still not complete.

Troy just shrugged that off and was well you get the posts and screen (a special yet durable type of screening that allows for large sq footage without a bunch of cross sections) and here's my price. One section is 12'x10' or 120 sq feet and the finished look is like having a nearly invisible picture window (see pictures.) Troy was quick to return and replace a section when we discovered a small knife cut in one panel that had gone unnoticed and likely happened when trimming excess screen. The only con was his crew spoke broken English however they were competent, friendly and very respectful and courteous while on site and cleaned up 100% every afternoon during this 3 day job. Troy does have a foreman who drops in regularly and helped with language barrier. I highly recommend Stuart's Contracting. Troy's low key but effective work ethic made all the difference as we always felt our satisfaction was his goal.

Alas, I was never instilled with or taught any great handy skills (and all the walls with…read moresuperfluous drill holes in my old home are testament to that). So finding a reliable handyman (handyperson?) is a must. And hopefully, with Melvin, I've done it. He was easy to contact, got scheduled fast, and helped with a number of odds and ends things that had been building up in my home. He did projects as small as installing a new towel holder to installing a new sink. It's been a bit over a month since I've used his services and everything still works great. I was able to pay him electronically too, which was a plus. Anyways, I plan to use Melvin going forward and highly recommend that you do too!

A++++++++ I can't…read morerecommend **Toler Home Solutions** enough. Tim and his brother John are professional, honest, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough from start to finish. They came out for what I thought was a fairly straightforward job, but instead of rushing through it, they took the time to carefully inspect my roof and pointed out multiple issues that had been overlooked. They found missing and improperly installed components, workmanship problems, and several areas that should have been addressed when my home was built. As a homeowner, it's frustrating to discover these kinds of issues only 3 years later. My experience with the original construction and inspection of my Clayton home left me with a lot of unanswered questions, because many of these problems should never have made it past a final inspection. What impressed me most about Tim and John was that they didn't just point out the problems--they explained everything clearly, fixed the issues correctly, and made sure I understood what they were doing every step of the way. It's rare to find contractors who genuinely care about doing the job right instead of just getting the job done. If you're looking for trustworthy, skilled handymen who take pride in their work and treat your home like it's their own, I wholeheartedly recommend **Toler Home Solutions**. Thank you, Tim and John, for restoring my confidence that there are still contractors who put quality and integrity first. Tim Toler Toler Home Solutions!!! #TolerHomeSolutions #ClaytonHomes

They were extremely quick to come out and provide a quote, even an electronic option to approve the quote given. But, this is where the positives end. Now, here we are almost 12 days from the quote approval and 3 calls and 2 voicemails later I final get a call back. Unable to complete service for over a week and no explanation as to why I didn't receive a call back, only a half sincere apology. I would never recommend this place to anyone who expects a decent level of customer service and follow up. It's a shame, because pricing was competitive.

A Truly Exceptional Experience with Yeshua Home Remodeling…read more I don't usually write reviews, but I had to take the time to recognize Yeshua Home Remodeling for their outstanding work and service. I initially found the company through Angie's List, and from the very beginning, I was impressed by the professionalism and care shown by the owner and his team. He came out promptly to give me an estimate--no pressure, no upselling. In fact, without even knowing the competing offers I received, his pricing came in lower, and much more reasonable for my budget. As a woman seeking home improvement services, it can be challenging to find contractors who are honest and fair. Yeshua Home Remodeling exceeded my expectations and made me feel completely at ease. He started work immediately and completed an incredible amount of work in just three days: * Painted my entire three-level townhouse using four different colors of my choosing. He personally went to the store, brought back color palettes, and allowed me to select without limitation. He followed every instruction perfectly. * Removed all carpeting and installed beautiful laminate flooring from the first floor up to the third floor--including all bedrooms, closets, hallways, and stairs. * Installed stair guards for safety, a thoughtful addition I greatly appreciated. * Reassembled my bedroom set, removed a damaged desk and installed a new one, and even installed a dancer's pole on my second floor using good judgment and creativity to place it discreetly but securely. Throughout the process, he and his wife worked side by side like a true team. They were courteous, professional, and efficient. Every day, they arrived on time, worked nonstop, and cleaned up thoroughly--even putting furniture back exactly where it belonged. My home didn't just get a facelift--it looks and feels brand new. The workmanship is so clean and polished that it honestly looks better than when the home was first built. I've had several home improvement quotes and experiences in the past, but this one stands out. Yeshua Home Remodeling is a family-oriented business that truly cares about its customers. Their integrity, pricing, craftsmanship, and customer service are unmatched. If you're looking for a trustworthy company to paint your home, replace your floors, or handle other remodeling needs--call Yeshua Home Remodeling. You won't regret it. They turned my vision into reality, and I will be recommending them to everyone I know. -- Phyllis G.
