The total package: I have been working with Dr. Whitenack for at least 8 years. I will be 65 in a few months and have been around the block a few times. I have an MBA with a 4.0 GPA and have worked in finance my entire career. I find Dr. Caleb Whitenack THE best Psychiatrist I have ever worked with. My son began seeing a psychiatrist in 2nd grade, diagnosed with OCD that was a huge alteration to daily life, even challenging today in his 30s. The physician was very good with degrees from Duke and Yale. That was my first time working with a physician in the psychiatric field. Since that time, I have worked with psychiatrists on various items with relatives ADD and my own personal challenges. What I find outstanding of Dr. Whitenack in addition to his clear expertise in the field, is his ability to actively listen, articulate, be professional, and is blessed with great intuition. This by itself makes an amazing psychiatrist. Although, he additionally goes out of his way to seek and quickly provide the most cost effective ways for patients to be able to afford their medications, even including discount information where possible. This is critical to many patients. I personally know individuals who have stopped taking medications because of cost which has been detrimental to their health. In summary, he is an expert, has the full package of personal skills to successfully connect with his patients and be knowledable of medication avenues for patients to successfully acquire them. If anyone were to ask me if I knew of a good place to go for their health care, I'm sending them to Animo Sano Psychiatry. It's that simple. Dr Hartmann is kind and caring. When I'm asked questions, I'm not rushed when answering. I know I'm heard when I speak to Dr Hartmann. Im not being judged by Dr Hartmann, I'm his patient and I truly feel that my mental and physical health is the most important thing to him. Best of all, if there is something I don't agree with that he suggests, we have a discussion until we come to a mutual agreement that works for both patient and provider. Learn from my mistakes and skip all the other Doctors offices and go straight to Animo Sano Psychiatry. very nice provider. very kind. listened intently. understood my daughter's needs. understood her medical conditions and mental health needs. virtual therapy available since we lived so far from the office and my health isn't so great. she was able to spend time going through my daughter's complete history from birth through today which is 26 years of her life. she spent a whole hour with us and didn't rush. a lot of times that is rare with providers these days. she renewed my daughter's medications and suggested a new one but considered drug drug interactions which was smart of her. so grateful for her seeing my daughter. they gave us an appointment right away. we waited probably two weeks for the appointment. some places you wait longer. gave us a follow up appointment in a month. we appreciate the time she took for us. highly recommend this practice. read more

Dr. Boazak is an excellent psychiatrist, a competent and caring doctor, who has helped me immensely with my OCD. He has referred me to OCD specialists whose expertise has helped me to control years of OCD, and he carefully manages my medication with zoom visits and pharmacy refills. The medication he prescribes is always ready for me at the pharmacy when I arrive to pick it up. Dr. Boazak excels in patient care, and I was blessed to be referred to him when I was in great need of help managing my OCD and coping with a move to North Carolina as a senior citizen. After working with Maddison Henley at Animo for over a year, I continue to be super impressed by her rapid response to my messages, her knowledge of medicines, and her gentle suggestions for therapies, which encourages me to be part of the decisions that effect me. I've only had 2 sessions with Mr Carter, & if I didn't know any better, I'd think I had a twin without bi-polar. Morgan Poston is a superb provider . She is very knowledgeable and empathetic. Morgan is very easy to talk to and she collaborates with the patient to come up with a plan of care .
