Really just an all around terrible job of grooming our family Doodle, Lucy…read more She was not clean, Ears Dirty, Nails not clipped, Uneven all over and totally skinned in other areas...They offered to redo her to "make it right"...ummmm no way...Really wanted to like this place, as it's convenient to my daughter's work... On the left is Lucy the day she was groomed by Mother Puppers, on the right is Lucy after having her redone by the groomer we use to use, who, by the way had almost nothing to work with... Sorry Mother Puppers... But seriously, you need a new groomer...Lucy had not a single mat! There is really no excuse for such shoddy work...She wasn't even bathed.

I boarded my dog here for five days and called to check on him multiple times (3-4 times). Each time, I was told he was doing well aside from a small bout of diarrhea one day. However, when I picked him up, there were several concerning issues that I believe should have been communicated to me earlier. His elbows and knees were rubbed raw almost like road rash. Even a week or two later, the scabs were still healing. I'm not sure what could have caused this other than being kept on concrete, which I specifically asked about. I was told that beds would be provided. (photo included was taken a week and a half after return) More concerning, when I brought him home, he had blood coming from his mouth enough that it got on my arm when I touched him. Again, nothing about this was ever mentioned in any of the calls or while I talked to her when I picked him up. While there are things I liked about this facility--the website is well done, I appreciated the photo they sent during his stay, and I like that the dogs are kept separate for safety I believe there needs to be more attention to the animals' well-being and more transparency when issues arise. The pricing is affordable, which I can understand being a draw for many people, but unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this place to a friend.

They were booked out for a couple months but when her appointment did come around, it had to be rescheduled (now multiple times for various reasons). So she went around 18 hours without food, and spent the day at the vet for no reason. Fast forward to yesterday for her teeth cleaning. I was worrying about her all day and was waiting for a call from the vet to let me know she was finished and ok. This is her first teeth cleaning and the first time she's been put under since she was fixed (10 1/2 years ago). They NEVER THOUGHT TO CALL US to let us know everything was ok. This alone infuriates me. But my mom picks her up only to find out they pulled SEVEN TEETH!! (Yes, I said 7) Pulling teeth was NEVER even talked about even being a POSSIBILITY, nonetheless a reason to even call us, or even obtain consent. Between my mom and I and the 3 times we had to take our dog in and pick her up, there was plenty of opportunities for a conversation about her teeth potentially needing to be pulled. If this was someone's child who went in for a routine teeth cleaning, or even a scheduled extraction, and came back with 7 less teeth, that would be malpractice. And I would win! Had I known this would have been the outcome, I absolutely would not have taken her to have her teeth cleaned. There was absolutely NO conversation about there even being a possibility of them needing to remove any teeth. One sentence would have covered it. "Some of her teeth look pretty bad and there may be a chance that we need to remove them, but we'll keep you informed if we need to do so." Done. How hard was that? It wasn't. And that never happened. We will NEVER be going back there. It has been nothing but dissatisfaction from day one. Great Falls pet owners, please don't bring your beloved fur babies here.
