I have been taking my dog here for 5 years. He has tried other places and he loves Weona the best. He's happy to go and happy when I pick him up. I have never had an issue EVER and my boi is my world.

My dog's injury from his stay at Weona Pet Resort.

Dogs love to go. Everyone is so friendly. They accommodate short notices. Prices are very resonable.

Our dog loves coming here for boarding and for daycare. The staff is amazing and she comes home happy and tired.

Really just an all around terrible job of grooming our family Doodle, Lucy…read more She was not clean, Ears Dirty, Nails not clipped, Uneven all over and totally skinned in other areas...They offered to redo her to "make it right"...ummmm no way...Really wanted to like this place, as it's convenient to my daughter's work... On the left is Lucy the day she was groomed by Mother Puppers, on the right is Lucy after having her redone by the groomer we use to use, who, by the way had almost nothing to work with... Sorry Mother Puppers... But seriously, you need a new groomer...Lucy had not a single mat! There is really no excuse for such shoddy work...She wasn't even bathed.

I honestly hesitated to write this review, especially after seeing so much positive feedback from…read moreothers which is why I waited almost a month to share my experience. I boarded my dog here for five days and called to check on him multiple times (3-4 times). Each time, I was told he was doing well aside from a small bout of diarrhea one day. However, when I picked him up, there were several concerning issues that I believe should have been communicated to me earlier. His elbows and knees were rubbed raw almost like road rash. Even a week or two later, the scabs were still healing. I'm not sure what could have caused this other than being kept on concrete, which I specifically asked about. I was told that beds would be provided. (photo included was taken a week and a half after return) More concerning, when I brought him home, he had blood coming from his mouth enough that it got on my arm when I touched him. Again, nothing about this was ever mentioned in any of the calls or while I talked to her when I picked him up. While there are things I liked about this facility--the website is well done, I appreciated the photo they sent during his stay, and I like that the dogs are kept separate for safety I believe there needs to be more attention to the animals' well-being and more transparency when issues arise. The pricing is affordable, which I can understand being a draw for many people, but unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this place to a friend.

The first time we dropped off our golden doodle for grooming when we went to pick him up, they had his leash on some other dog, they brought the wrong dog out to me with my leash on. The second time I took my other dog there for boarding . When picking him up again, they brought the wrong dog out to me. Who knows where he was while he was being boarded. I had paid for a VIP, which is the highest package So who knows how he was being taken care of if they thought he was a different dog. I can't believe I gave them a third try, dummy me We took our dog for doggy daycare (five hours, half day)when I pulled up to pick him up I didn't see him outside with the other dogs, when I dropped him off there were also no dogs outside. I asked where he had been. I don't see him outside with the other dogs. They said oh maybe he's with the large dogs. We'll go find out. I'm like I hope not he is small. She finally comes back, has my dog and tells me that there was a miscommunication and then she stopped with that and said here's your dog. I said well I want to know what the miscommunication was. Where was he? She said they thought he was here for grooming He had been in a crate all day instead of out playing for five hours. He was just groomed at there a couple weeks ago, common sense looking at him that he is not there for grooming because they shaved him. He sat in a crate back in the back room waiting to be groomed. I requested money back they won't give it to me. She said store credit only. I said I want my money back. This is a third time you've messed up big-time I'm not coming back. I don't want store credit. I want my money back for today. He was in a crate instead of playing with the other dogs for five hours.. also when I came home he run to his water dish immediately , he drank so much water. He must've been locked up for quite some time. These new owners suck, it was a manager I spoke to and she said the owner is not available to talk to. She's in a different time zone. I said it's real easy to give me credit. You swipe the card and tell it to credit my card she said we're not allowed to do that. I'm so mad they kept my money for services that I did not get. And my poor dog locked up in a crate for five hours. I will be disputing it with my card. I've been going to Happy Tails for years. It's been so good to us. It's so upsetting that Steve is not there anymore. Not one time have we ever had an issue with Happy Tails all these years until now. I would not recommend going there for anything not for anything ever.

FIVE STARS -- BEST FRIENDS ANIMAL HOSPITAL, GREAT FALLS, MONTANA!…read more This isn't law enforcement related, but those of you who follow 406 Back the Blue know how much I love animals, especially rescues! And if you live anywhere in Great Falls or the surrounding communities, I have a veterinary recommendation you absolutely need to hear about! First, LISA BAKER! What an absolute blessing this woman is! I recently joined a Montana guinea pig group, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lisa, her knowledge, her patience, and her extraordinary bedside manner. The entire staff deserves recognition! Today, I dropped off my beloved guinea pig, Mr. Bingley, before heading to work. He had developed lumps beneath his chin, which turned out to be infected lymph nodes caused by streptococcal bacteria, a condition called strangles. Both glands are affected, and he will need surgery to remove them. From the moment I dropped him off until I picked him up after work, the entire staff was phenomenal! They kept me informed throughout the testing, called with updates, patiently explained his diagnosis and prognosis, and walked me through the surgery and associated costs. Nobody rushed me, nobody made me feel like just another appointment, and they genuinely CARE about the animals entrusted to them. And can we talk about affordability for a moment? Anyone who has ever taken a sick animal to the veterinarian knows that sometimes the bill makes you wonder whether you should have brought your checkbook, your retirement account, and the deed to your house! As a single mom, I cannot begin to express what a relief it was to receive such a reasonable estimate for surgery, anesthesia, and everything involved. I didn't feel like I had to choose between getting my beloved little guinea pig the medical care he needs and putting food on the table for my daughter. That matters tremendously to me. Compassionate veterinary care shouldn't require selling a kidney on the black market! And for my fellow exotic-pet parents, finding a veterinarian who treats guinea pigs in the Great Falls area is incredibly difficult. Praise God, this wonderful hospital is practically down the street from me! NOW, LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE CATS! They also have some absolutely ADORABLE cats available for adoption! Every single one I saw was precious, but there were two beautiful grayish-colored kitties who completely stole my heart. I believe they might be siblings, and they were just the sweetest little things! Oh, how I wished I owned a home! I would have scooped up those two in a heartbeat. Actually, who am I kidding? I probably would have taken every cat in the building! Someone PLEASE go meet these beautiful babies before I start looking for a house with an extra bedroom just for cats! Seriously, if you're considering adding a feline family member, stop by and meet these sweethearts. You might just find your new best friend! Lisa Baker and the entire team at Best Friends Animal Hospital have earned my trust, my gratitude, and my enthusiastic FIVE-STAR recommendation! Whether your furry family member barks, meows, squeaks, or purrs, this is a team that treats animals with genuine compassion, takes the time to educate their humans, and respects the financial realities of caring for the pets we love. Best Friends Animal Hospital 1520 9th Street South Great Falls, Montana (406) 453-2200 https://bestfriendsvets.com/ Thank you, Lisa, and everyone at Best Friends, for treating Mr. Bingley like the treasured little family member he is. His surgery is scheduled for October 21, and I am so grateful he's in such capable hands! FIVE STARS! I would give them TEN if I could!

First, a warning... Do NOT rely on this place to provide the proper care for your friends/pets…read more. You've been warned.. So when you're trying to get an appointment for a sick or injured pet, you'll end up going to a different veterinarian. The ppl at the front desk are rude, and a few are very incompetent. Also, this has become Best Friends reputation around town. Not just me.. Even other vets are talking about "the change" at best friends. I can only hope this warning saves you from dealing with this place. Now, the history.. I started going to DR Norton while he was still dating his assistant (now wife) prior to 2013. At that time, they were expensive, but the care IMO was worth the extra money. (You get what you pay for) This was while they were located by the refinery/that side of town. Then, they moved to their current location.. It slowly became more difficult to get seen, and Dr Norton was always busy.. Over time, it was clear it's all about $.. Schedule as many patients and push them through as fast as possible.. I still decided to go there, as I figured they'd get things figured out eventually.. Fast forward to now... "Best friends" is now owned by a private equity group. While it's common that the previous owner/vet stays on staff, (Norton) he no longer has a vested interest in the business's success. It's a job.. To the private equity group that now owns Best Friends, it's a money machine. They don't care about your pet, only how much money can be sucked from ppls wallets. That said, I'm certain theres a few good ppl and veterinarians that are/have worked there.. They seem to go through veterinarians pretty fast though.. Usually someone different at every appointment. So I would be interested in talking to one thats cycled through to get the behind the scenes scoop on why the clinic turned into a failure. (By care standards) they probably make plenty of $ now. So, a success to the private equity group who gets it. Maybe? If you choose to ignore my warnings, read the other reviews. Plenty out there.. I'm just trying to save you the stress and your pet the discomfort. If you still choose them, give it time.. You'll see i was right and have your own regrets.
