It's almost like I summoned it from my imagination, because I saw it on the side of the road right around the end of the day when I just needed some place to get a drink and a dessert. I sat at the bar, and the owner, Ben, served me himself! They have a full bar with lots of creative cocktail options, but I opted for wine. Ben happens to have a deep love of wine, and he gave me a couple of sample tastes of some of the special ones he had at the bar. We talked wine for a bit (he personally sources the wine he offers at Hereinafter from all over the world). It was such a nice visit -- just chatting about wine while drinking wine -- and definitely made my night. I like my wine dry, but I like my desserts sweet, so I got the warm peach cobbler. It was served bubbling hot in a little cast iron skillet, topped with a dollop of sweet cream. It was delicious, and it felt ultra decadent to eat while drinking wine. The atmosphere at Hereinafter is classy and cool and modern with a nod to mid-century decor (there's a plastic pink flamingo at the entrance). If you don't want to sit at the bar like I did, there are also booths and tables, so lots of places to sit and enjoy a drink and a meal with friends.

But there it is, back off the road, in what looks like a converted warehouse. Right beside the little diner, right across from a little fake lighthouse. Inside it is twice as big as any Dollar General I've ever seen. All the usual items, but lots more variety. I was looking for an unusual cereal, and found it. They only had a couple boxes, but I snagged them. Service was super friendly. Prices are decent though not great. Handy if you are vacationing in the area.

When ever I am out visiting my mom and step-dad out at the family farm, I my stop in to get a few things, especially the prize winning locally grown and slaughtered meats. Talk about quality and fresh. I think it is the best meat in Ohio, for you carnivores out there. They also have fresh Amish style baked goods, and produce. This market has thrived through good times and hard times. Even with a Kroger super store that opened outside of Heath, or the local Walmart. They can not compare to TCs. So if you are out in Southeast Ohio, stop by this little grocery store and check it out for yourself, you will be pleasantly surprised.
