There were so many moving pieces, and Therese somehow always had a handle on all of them. She was incredibly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, direct, patient, reassuring, and honest throughout the entire planning process. She also has an insane amount of wedding knowledge and experience, and you can tell that she genuinely cares about understanding what the couple wants and figuring out how to make it happen. Her vendor management and ability to anticipate things before we even thought of them were invaluable. She also helped us navigate the family dynamics that inevitably come with planning a large Indian wedding and helped us get everyone comfortable and excited about vendors and decisions that mattered to us. Having her there gave us so much confidence throughout the process because we always knew we had Therese, and we were not doing it alone. One thing I especially appreciated was that Therese wasn't afraid to give us her honest opinion when she thought something would make our experience better. For example, she strongly encouraged us to take photos with all of our guests because she knew how much it would mean to them. At the time, I wasn't sure we needed to, but I am SO glad we listened to her. Her execution on the actual wedding weekend was unbelievable. Our main wedding day had an extremely tight schedule with essentially no room for anything to run late, and somehow everything ran perfectly on time. Guests, family members, our bridal party, and even other vendors commented on how smoothly the day ran and how impressed they were that a wedding with so many moving pieces stayed so perfectly on schedule. Therese and Bharati were also incredible at managing our families and bridal party so that my husband and I never had to worry about where anyone needed to be or what was happening next. Therese even made little schedule cards for every member of my bridal party with their call times and everything they needed to know. The cards unfolded into these hilariously long scrolls, which honestly sums up how complex the logistics were and how prepared she was for every single detail. We also had the pleasure of working closely with Bharati from the Electric Karma team, who was absolutely amazing. Between Therese and Bharati, I truly felt like everything was taken care of. They coordinated seamlessly with our vendors and made sure the final execution was exactly what we had envisioned. Most importantly, because of them, I was actually able to be present at my wedding. I wasn't checking the time, coordinating with vendors, finding family members, or worrying about what was supposed to happen next. I cried, laughed, soaked everything in, and genuinely enjoyed every minute because I completely trusted that Therese and her team had everything under control. If I could go back and plan our wedding all over again, I would hire her again without hesitation. I would recommend her to any couple, and especially to anyone planning a large, multicultural, or logistically complex wedding.

I am so glad I was able to find her as her photos are beyond amazing and she's such a nice person to communicate with, even though it was just a mini session. I can only imagine the extra details and coordination she does for a full session. This year's session was $375 for 3 digital photos. Adding more digital were at an additional charge [of course]. Love that Santa was included! This year's holiday photo session took place outdoors in a Katy, wooded area. We were able to do a family session, kids session, and sessions with Santa. Santa was perfect! He was dressed in his finest red suit and had the perfect fluffy white beard. He intereacted with my boys as well, allowing them to tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Everyone was very patient with my boys and was able to get amazing photos. Though it was a "mini" session, I loved the multiple options she gave for us to do within that 20 min time frame. My sister had also booked a mini holiday session right after us and she was so reluctant to take photos of all of our 5 boys together ! [ I have 2 and my sister has 3]. Her communication throughout the whole thing was great! So responsive and had a quick and reasonable turn around time. She even asked for an special request of edits which she beautifully granted. I had a high slit dress that was a bit revealing and she was able to make it more modest. The photos speak for themselves. I highly recommend MJ for your photography needs.
