Amazing! Outstanding! DJ Angie D Entertainment came recommended from my wedding planner Entyse Lyfe Events. I looked at a few YouTube videos. Instagram and everyone looked like they were having a great time. So I decided to hire them. Professional. DJ Angie D and Aaron walked us through their process, provided suggestions for songs, cooordinatrd timelines with our event planner and made us feel comfortable that our event would be in good hands. We appreciated the video conferences to finalize details because it just works faster and is more personalized and allowed them to get familiar with us as a couple and get a great feel for us and what we wanted. THE WEDDING!! OMG! Everyone had a blast!! The music was great from before the ceremony until the end! People were dancing the entire time. Angie D Entertainment was suggested by my wedding coordinator. Angie was fantastic throughout the process and planned meetings. Her ability to market herself and her team was outstanding, and she was quite responsive. Because my family is Hispanic, my key requirement that clinched the deal with Angie was that she agree to have a multilingual DJ as her partner. Unfortunately, Angie did not provide the high-quality service she promised, and she lacked a competent multilingual partner. She began with her intended companion, "Cisco," who was unavailable due to a family emergency. Throughout the process, though, his conduct seemed dubious. Angie didn't tell me about the switch until we were seated at the sweetheart table. The multilingual DJ she did locate tried his best by reading the entire time from his phone. The translations were stuttering and rushed. My husband was mortified to say the least because Angie exceeded our budget and she assured us that she would provide exactly what we wanted. Angie also had the wrong versus for our first dance, did not play the right bridal song throughout the ceremony, and did not offer music for cocktail hour, all of which were addressed at length at our meeting. Angie also provided the wrong questions for our "who knows them best" reception game, which was not properly performed. Angie also failed to contact me when she opted to relocate lights that we had requested. Luckily, none of these issues took away from our special day and my husband and I are very forgiving since perfection during such a huge event is impossible. I had big plans for my wife's 50th Birthday celebration, but had to cancel them due to family members' inability to travel during the pandemic. I contacted DJ Angie D to inquire about alternatives and she suggested a virtually hosted event with DJ services and a virtual photobooth. The party was incredible! The host was available to instruct guests how to access the photobooth and DJ Angie D's deejaying skills were stellar! The music volume was perfect and facilitated the active conversation while allowing for guests to dance, should the mood and desire hit! There were ZERO tech issues, which is impressive in itself. Besides the fantastic party, the company response time when planning the event was fast and attentive to our needs. They collected a list of the birthday girl's favorite tunes and played them all during the party. I hired DJ Angie D Entertainment to DJ my 25th High School Reunion in October 2016. They were a recommended vendor by my venue - Clyde's of Tyson's Corner - and I could not have been happier with Angie's talented team! Angela was patient with me when I "interviewed" her to see if her company would be a fit, and then was very helpful in answering subsequent questions and getting my contract together. I really appreciated her all-in pricing (no surprises!) and her online tool to capture the schedule of my reunion, song choices, etc. It was all really easy and straightforward. That night, DJs Frank and Floyd ran our event. I had a really great conversation with Floyd beforehand, and he was the perfect match for us. We talked about the event and he really showed his thoughtful advance preparation. That night, the DJs both arrived early and had set-up in plenty of time. I loved every song they played - it was the perfect mix of songs from our High School days, mixed in with plenty of great songs that were more recent. So professional, fun, and easy to work with. I found DJ Angie on Yelp, and was a little nervous about hiring a DJ sight unseen. After reading other customer's reviews and chatting with Angie directly, I felt confident that I made the right choice. We were assigned to DJ Frank. He called me a couple of days before the party to go over how I wanted the evening to go. Thank you DJ Frank for a great night. Our friends and family thought you did a fabulous job and really liked the games. With that being said, even though he was there on time, our music really didn't start on time. I had to ask him a couple of times to stop playing some songs that no one heard of or really liked. I thought he would play all of the songs on our play list, after all we spent months choosing the songs for the party. I was a little disappointed with that. We're not big fans of remixing, so that was a little off putting. Otherwise it was a great night. read more
