Unfortunately, when I picked up my clothes, many of the shirts and blazers were still noticeably wrinkled, and my pants had creases despite my request for them to be crease-free. The owner acknowledged that some of the shirts were too wrinkled and offered a discount, which I appreciated. However, I later discovered additional wrinkled shirts and a blazer that had been improperly hemmed, leaving part of the garment unfinished. This prevented me from wearing the blazer when I had originally planned to wear it to work. When I attempted to address the issue, I was unable to reach the manager, and my interaction with the owner was frustrating. I was essentially told that these types of mistakes happen and that I would have to leave the blazer for another week while it was sent to another location. I appreciate that a discount was ultimately provided, but the overall experience was inconvenient and disappointing. For a first-time customer paying a significant amount for professional cleaning and pressing, I expected much greater attention to detail and customer service. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business.

The dress was then cleaned again, I called the next morning to pick up the dress and the owner told me it wasn't ready, it'll be ready after 12pm Friday. We then have a conversation via phone about my friend picking the dress up, he says okay. Friend picks the dress up, I go to put the dress on that night at 9pm for an event and realized the cleaners had never put the string back on the gown to the string the dress up. Ended up having to string a shoe string on a beautiful silk gown. Went in to talk to the owners the next morning about the missing string and they just handed it over. no apologies, no incentives, nothing but a stare in the face telling me they're not doing anything or giving me anything. The owner went on to say "things like that happen all the time and that it's not their fault if items are missing, even if they forget to put the items back."

Then insisted on charging full price for the shirt that was an easy job some coffee on my fav button down - they'd carelessly ironed a light cofee stain in . First they couldn't find my things . The man who took my things didn't remember me or that he'd been the one who'd taken my things . I asked if they could possible give me a break on the price especially considering they'd ruined a favorite shirt. He said that was not their policy. I calmly let them know I would not be using them again. They couldn't have cared less. Long post alert! I…read morewent to take my birthday pictures today and decided on a laundromat concept. After searching on Yelp for the most aesthetic laundromat in New Orleans, Holy Sheets came up as #1...and once I saw the photos, I already knew this was the one. The floors alone sold me! I also had an oversized blanket to wash, so I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. When I arrived, I sat and waited for my photographer, then went to ask a staff member a question about starting my wash. That's when she let me know photos weren't allowed, but she offered to check with the owner. A few minutes later, he arrived (I hate that I can't remember his name), greeted customers, and then came over to speak with me. I explained it was for my birthday shoot, and he kindly let me know it was a busy time and he didn't want to make other customers uncomfortable, but he offered to schedule another time for us to come back. Very respectful and professional. Of course, with a scheduled shoot, we couldn't really pivot like that, so I thanked him and started making other plans. BUT then...he came back and said we could go ahead and take pictures, just to be mindful of customers and stay on one side. That meant so much! Even though people naturally started moving into that area (lol), we made it work, and he was super accommodating the entire time. I really appreciated that level of kindness and flexibility. Now let's talk about the space, this laundromat is BEAUTIFUL, if laundromats can be beautiful lol. Clean, bright, and very well-maintained. The floors? Stunning. The machines were all in working order, plenty of baskets available, and I love that they offer full-service wash and fold options too. What stood out the most was the customer service. He greeted people as they came in, listened attentively to customers, and created a welcoming environment. Overall, such a great experience. Thank you for being a part of making my birthday special!
