My friend and I were searching for a place nearby and found this place after the reviews on Yelp. We walked in and they didn't have any customers. They asked if we had an appointment, but no. (They highly advise it for next time). We immediately were serviced, but they seemed overwhelmed or in a rush- at first! I had a manicure and then eyebrows. They both turned out perfectly! Here they will make conversation with you and make sure your happy. My friend's pedicure turned out great as well and she was very pleased! I was especially impressed with the extra time she took on my eyebrows. She wanted to listen to you opinion and offered advice. The place is very clean and organized. They even give frequent buyer punch cards! Altogether my eyebrows wax and manicure (with 15% discount from Yelp) came to $20. A steal. We'll be back! read more

Hubby and I decided to try this place on a Saturday afternoon. The ladies did such a great job, they listened to our requests (I'm picky when it comes to manicures and he likes a good foot massage) and finished in a timely manner. I really liked that they were not chatty, but they paid attention to the service. Hubby's only compliant was that the hot towel could've been hotter. We'll see them again in two weeks! read more

RATING NOT BASED ON ACTUAL SERVICE BUT APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING So I decided to treat myself to a manicure. I called up the salon and made an appointment for 10:30 the next day and notified them that I would like to get a French manicure with the white tips. Next day I have a bit of trouble finding the place-mainly my fault because I expected to find it in the little shopping center but it was actually opposite the shopping center directly opposite Safeway. So I get there finally lol-10 minutes late. The lady leads me to my seat I tell her I have a 10:30 and she confirms it. So due to people always complaining about extra charge and not getting what they want-I made sure I confirm what I'm there for as well as the cost. This is where the problem starts she tells me she thought I was having a plain manicure and not tips and she is however not able to do that only the other lady does tips-and that lady is busy with a client and she has someone else after that. Didn't ask if I want to come back later or anything. On the other hand the place was very clean and looked cute. So my advise would be confirm your appointment 10 times and make sure they understand and I'm sure your experience will be better than mine. Hated that I drove so far for nothing. I will not be coming back here-waste of my time. Language barriers suck!!! Oh well off to look for another place lol. read more

A neighborhood gem. I really enjoy this place because it's smaller and more intimate than some of the other nail salons in the area that make you feel like you're being rushed in and out. These ladies are all professional and highly skilled. They make conversation, but also let you relax and unwind while being pampered. They don't talk your ear off and aren't asking you 21 questions about your life and where you live, etc. I have had massages, leg waxes, bikini waxes, manicures, pedicures, and eyebrow waxings. Pretty much their full suite of offerings! My only complaint is that after my last brazilian wax, I was plagued with a TON of ingrown hairs. I'm used to getting a few here and there, but this was kind of ridiculous. So, I'm not sure if it was the waxing technique or what. All in all, I enjoy coming here and am looking forward to my next appointment. read more

This place is a gem--almost reticent to share my positive remarks for fear that it will become much more difficult to get an appt!! Linda did my pedicure today. She was gentle, friendly, and my feet feel and look GREAT! They have a wide selection of polish brands and colors for those of us who want to get a little wild with our color choices. I came here based on the Yelp reviews but they must have all been written by friends. I asked for a therapeutic massage and it was nowhere close. I kept asking to have firmer pressure but nothing changed. After 25 minutes I gave up. The massage therapist had 6 months of experience and she needed a lot more. The first thing you notice about this place is how clean it is. I mean spotless, which is a welcome change from most nail salons. All of the manicurists I have encountered have been friendly and meticulous in their work. I actually showed up with for a mani/ pedi once 30 minutes before closing and they didn't just rush through it and slap on polish; it was still done right. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of an unfortunate lip wax incident. She took a little skin along with my fuzz and I while I won't return for that particular service but I will be getting my nails done here for the long term unless something changes. read more

My first visit to this salon was for a pedicure and Penny did a great job. She was gentle and thorough and efficient. Price very reasonable at $26. Made a spur of the moment return visit for my first bikini wax. Penny was very accommodating and came back to see her in two hours that same day. Lovely neighborhood nail salon. I've gotten a couple pedis here (always a walk in) and they've always been great! I love that they only use the pumice stone on my feet instead of trying to use a razor! I know other salons do it for convenience, but it leaves your feet a hot mess after a couple weeks. I schedule an appointment for 10am Saturday morning. I sent an email to schedule and did not receive a reply until 10pm Friday night. The salon wasn't too hard to find but parking was a bit difficult. It was also a bit confusing once I entered the building- they need better signage to direct to the appropriate floor. Anyways, I get there for my scheduled mani/pedi. I explain to her that I would like a shellac manicure. She explains to me 1 hour is not enough time to do both because she has more appointments at 11. She tells me I can either get one or the other done or come back to do both. I explain to her that I don't have any other time to do this or come back for another appointment. Needless to say I felt rushed and quite honestly I will not be back. read more

New in the area, I was looking for a salon to be my "go to" place. I was the only person in the salon, and while the technician was very nice, the gel manicure I received was sub-par. A friend recommended Angel's, and she was right. Jenny, the owner, and Linda, who have both done my nails are great. They are friendly, the manicure was perfect, and they are gentle, but thorough. I also had my eyebrows waxed, and they listened to me and made them look just the way I asked. The place is clean (very important to me) and comfortable. I did not feel rushed or pressured to buy more services. The prices are similar (inexpensive) to other nail salons. I highly recommend this place. Called and schedule a deep tissue massage for 6 pm. This was a waste of time and money. I have had plenty of massages over the years and this was the worse one. Did not have me fill out forms for illness or injury. Did not ask if I had any trouble areas. She dressed very nice with long sleeve, hint see never used her forearms or elbows. She sat on the table while doing the massage, never applying any pressure. Used only oil not massage cream. Did not work spine or back of neck. Basically she just rubbed my body. I love many things about this place: the close proximity to my house, their incredibly reasonable prices (in an area where prices are generally not so reasonable), the fact that they consistently do an amazing job, the most comfortable massage chairs, the atmosphere (it's super cozy), and how quiet it is. They only have 3 or 4 pedicure chairs and 2 or 3 spots for manicures. Every time I have been, I've been the only person there, or one of two people. Unlike other places who just want to take ten trillion customers, this place is actually so relaxing. I'm hesitant to share how great they are because I don't want it to ever be crowded! I also got a facial here once that was excellent (I keep meaning to come get another one!).
