I was happy to spot a few fish balls, but overall the store hasn't improved much in terms of inventory. I really hope they're able to restock consistently because the community could definitely use a reliable Filipino grocery option.

Owners Dan and Julie were very friendly and happy to assist you as you shop through the store. They definitely don't lack Filipino snack options. They also have plenty of canned goods and frozen food options. They also sell some baked goods from a local baker. They even have Filipino parol! Overall they have a good selection of Filipino goods. So happy this place opened on this side of town to cater to the growing Filipino population in the area. Definitely check them out for your Filipino/Asian grocery needs.

We paid and went and sat directly outside the door. Now, the box of the squishy was pretty damaged, but I didn't think anything of it, so I opened it and the bag, it was in was ripped open, still didn't think anything of it until I took out the squishy and it was broken. so I was kind of mad, and I went inside to see if I could return it and the "manager" told me If the bag was closed , then I could return it so he opened it, and of course the bag was ripped open and he told me that it could not be returned. I argued that it was that it was like that when I bought it, but he told me I was a liar and proceeded to open every single other box to show me that they all came closed and the boxes that he opened were also damaged and most of the bags were ripped open as well and he would hold them closed and tell me that I was lying and they were closed. I didn't feel like fighting him, so I grabbed my squishy and went out the door to my cousin. I told her what happened and she wasn't happy but we decided to leave cause we didn't want to fight anymore P.S " manager's" name is Iris Worst customer service I have ever had. I read reviews of supermarkets in general and see that people are going off based on one interaction or one experience with merchandise. Except for some bargain type supermarkets in sketchy neighborhoods where they are probably conditioned and instructed to view everyone with suspicion, this negativity does not come my way at most chain supermarkets. Randall's is part of the Safeway family of supermarkets which also includes Safeway (obviously), Vons, and Dominick's, whose catchment area I'm not familiar with. That said, I went in here and ... badda bing ... my Safeway club card worked. The price points of their items are just like those of Safeway and Vons. They are in the mid-range, with some items featured at good prices. That's why you should read your supermarket flyers ... to find those items. I have bought things from the aisles here but, at this location, I have mostly eaten sandwiches from their deli. Now, while they don't have the excellent spread of sandwiches like Safeway (and Vons) had up on their sandwich board about a decade ago, such as the tender Tuscan chicken and hearty meatloaf sandwiches, you can't complain about a nicely decked out, custom made sandwich for $ 5.99. It's practically a complete meal. I could go with a 3 or a 4 with this Randall's. Yes, the employees come in at about a 3. I won't go into detail. Their merchandise and its prices come in at about a 4. How manicured the shopping center, the parking, the circulation to the major streets, and the neighborhood are make for about a 5. The store itself looks like a 4 from the outside but, then, once inside, it doesn't have the higher ceilings that the exterior seems to suggest. Overall, this Randall's is a much better than average supermarket in a very nice area.

Thank goodness there were natives in the store, not that it helped ease me. Though, they left quick and scurried across the store without even having contact with us. The male owner was helpful, but acted as if I was a lot younger than my age and treated me like I was ignorant. I couldn't find the sweet Indian snack, but I did find something a lot better. Lots of Indian snacks, sweets, ingredients, frozen foods, teas, and even fresh produce. The prices seemed pricey, not so much reasonable. No expired goods. I can't say I'll be back to this store as Hwy 3 is known for having lots of Indian grocery.
