If you find yourself in Chino late at night (like I was) and want some authentic Mexican food, check out Angel's! There were a good amount of people waiting before I got there and even more showed up after I ordered food. Got the asada burrito and asada tacos. Asada was on point and they make/use fresh made corn tortillas. The menu no longer list prices but the burrito was $13 and tacos are $3.50. Will be back to try the al pastor. Check out my pics! read more

We love this gem! We went on a Saturday just before 6pm and there was virtually no line. We ordered 4 asada and 4 pastor tacos, as well as a burrito with no rice with both asada and pastor. The tacos and burrito were stuffed with meat. The limes and salsa come in the bag, along with fresh radishes and pickled onions. There's a serve yourself platter of grilled onions and peppers, which were also delicious. The food was overall delicious, but both my partner and I had sour stomachs, my guess is from the grilled vegetables that were left on the side of the truck. Either way, we're not deterred and we'll be back! Also, keto friendly - they have keto tacos! Enjoy! read more

Got a chicken burrito around 10pm on a Thursday with very light foot traffic. Customer service sucked as many of the reviews complain about, so wasn't very surprised there. But we'd hope with shitty customer service the food would be worth it, but once again like many other reviews have stated, it was MIDDDDD. The food wasn't bad but it definitely was NOT great or even good, it was just meh. A salty mess with very little flavor... the big Mexican dude taking my order just gave the impression that I was interrupting his phone call time because I showed up to order THEIR food. Actually pretty comical like out of a Seinfeld episode. I always see this place with a stacked line when I drive, so I figured it's gotta be good. But like most things nowadays, a stacked line doesn't mean it's worth shit. People stand in a long line to buy a $20 strawberry from erewhon, so if there's people dumb enough to do that, then there's people dumb enough to stand in a line anywhere! Go somewhere else unless it's midnight and nothing else is open! Then you yourself could go experience this amazing Mexican cuisine lmao! read more

As with all successful businesses that branch out into new locations, the new ones are never as good as the originals. I am happy to see Angel's doing well and making money. They make great food and work hard - they deserve the success. Like many other yelpers, and loyal customers feel, the special salsa (if you will) just doesn't taste or feel the same. Regardless, they make amazing and delicious tacos, tortas, burritos and loaded baked potatoes. If you're lucky enough to live or drive near one of their locations, I highly advise you stop by and try the al pastor. Start with the tacos and work your way up to the baked potato. The meat is tender, slightly charred from the flames and super flavorful. You will not be disappointed. The aguas frescas are bomb too. My favorite is the lemonade which has some cucumber in it. Bomba! read more

This place says they have tacos Tijuana Style, where's the guacamole ? Or guacamole sauce ? You ask for it and they "always run out" an hour in, sorry compa no mas quac. Service is terrible. I'd recommend going to Juanitos across the street. read more

When Angel's was a taco stand, it was the ultimate experience to watch the whole team in action. The flaming al pastor spinning on the trompo, the tíos chopping up carne, and the tías flipping tortillas, it was all part of the magic. And the tacos, fresh off the grill and handed straight to you, were absolutely amazing. It was a 10/10 experience and tacos. Now that I've tried the taco truck twice, it's just not the same. The food is served in foam to-go plates, and the tacos don't have as much meat as they used to. I really miss the taco stand version, but I'll still stop by if I'm in the area. I highly recommend their baked potato with al pastor, it's huge! (That's what she said.) The potato is soft, loaded with melty, cheesy goodness, and delicious. Their quesadillas and mulitas are also fire! 10/10 read more

Angel's - Mexican Near Me - Chino, California

The food is over priced and they're tight with the guacamole! Look at the picture. I mean what the hell??!! Another observation. They don't know how to wrap the burrito as it's always fallen apart. Salsa are handled in bags? Cmon! Making it difficult to pour on the food! Be better guys!! You get a C- read more

Angel's - Carne Asado Burrito. Where is the Guacamole??? - Mexican Near Me - Chino, California

Tried these out because of the good reviews, the truth is they're not terrible, but they scoop cold guacamole onto the taco and it ruins the tacos now they're cold while I'm eating them right at the food truck, also the cabeza is in chunks not shredded and they put guacamole on the cabeza tacos which is a first for me. read more

We went on a Friday night and it seemed pretty packed so we thought man they must be heatttt and went to try some. We ordered Al Pastor (Adobada), Asada and i think cabeza. My biggest complaint is the wait time. 30 minutes for like 6 tacos? We told the cashier that we wanted a refund because they werent even CLOSE to starting our order after 30 minutes (they were 3 orders before ours that they havent even called) and after telling us she couldn't refund us, she offered for them to be ready in a few minutes. If we hadnt said anything we wouldve definitely been there another half hour. Talking w other customers, they were pretty pissed and annoyed too. While you think its because its busy, when you through the see thru windows you can see the 2 cooks being the slowest mfs youve ever laid eyes on. This is supposed to be fast food. Its tacos and burritos, you should NOT be taking ur sweet time, especially when you have a line of other ppl waiting over 45 minutes. This aint a sit down restaurant we are freezing out here bru lets be serious. It was rlly annoying seeing the two cooks work like they definitely dont give a damn lmfao After 40 minutes total we got home and tried the tacos. Less than mid. 3/10 The asada was pretty salty, and the tortillas got soggy way to quickly and broke apart not even 1 taco in. I get wanting to be authentic, but u aint making the tortillas right and with the pace you guys are already going, i think yall should js get store bought ones please dawg My oomf got asada and those were SALTY. saltier than the adobada like insanely salty. And this is like supposed to be like a basic taco. Tortillas were the same for all, js breaking apart and making everything be so much harder than it is. She told me the cabeza ones were okay. The pineapple on the adobada and the chiles/cebollitas she ordered where the only good things. But good at best. All in all, as a Tijuanense this place needs a lot of work. Your food could be better, the onion and cilantro coukd be fresher and overall your PACE can be faster for sureeee. In tj you order for a family of 5 and they got ur tacos on the table in 5 minutes, if its to-go, 10 minutes at most, not even exagerating. And made me really appreciate the great service you get from your average taco stand over there Tengan bonito dia tilines y potaxies read more

Tacos are great. Got the Al pastor tacos and a burrito. Wanted to try some cabeza as well. Everything tasted great but I really wish they had the grilled onions. This is my third time coming and they didn't have it and this is considering I bc one around 730/8. Otherwise I like that all of the sides and stuff are prepackaged! read more

Came here after a show late at night and wow the corn quesadilla was awesome. I got it with the Al pastor and it reminded me of Tacos El Franc in TJ. Service was great and it's the perfect to go taco spot. I'm not anywhere nearby but when I'm back out I know I have a great go to spot. read more

Absolutely love the vibe of going to a truck and getting some good food. Friendly staff and I just fee like I'm in Mexico! Best pastor and the fresh pineapple and spice is perfect (spicy so it gives a sweet spicy flavor). If I wouldn't be judged and brokey, would come every night. read more

Angel's - Bunch of people waiting for over an hour - Mexican Near Me - Chino, California

Absolutely delicious. I will be back real authentic Mexican food. This is what I've been looking for for a long time.

A taco stand that starting popping up by my house more and more often and now it seems to be one of their permanent locations. We tried them one night seeing how the lines were super long and boy are they good!! They are also very affordable! Regular tacos are $2.50, cheese tacos $3.50 with your choices of meats. They also have mulitas, quesadillas, burritos, tortas, and vampiros. They also have with they call the Angels potatoe which is basically a loaded potato that comes with tortillas and oh man, that is one of my favorite dishes there. They have a good variety of meats, nothing too crazy, mostly the basics. The meats are steak, chicken, chorizo, al pastor, and cabeza. I have tried the steak, chicken, and al pastor. The steak and al pastor are my favorites. The hubby loves the al pastor. In fact, it's one of the best al pastors I have ever tried. The chicken is also good, very tender! I didn't know they had a pretty big Instagram following until I looked them up, over 300k followers. If you follow them, they will post other locations where they typically pop up. I think their general off day is Mondays. They pop up most nights and they are usually open from around 4pm-12am. They have definitely become our go-to place for tacos!! They also make their own fresh tortillas!!! You see them making it!! They take cash and card. We'll be coming back here again and again because the food is just so cheap and very good! Tacos come loaded with onions, cilantro, guacamole, and your choices of salsa. They also have limes, grilled onions, grilled jalapenos, pickeled onions, cucumbers as sides. They also serve some very good horchata and some agua freshcas. We get our taco fix here at least once every 2 weeks, sometimes every week! Come get some cheap street tacos!! You wont regret it! read more

Love this place. The taco sizes are huge totally justifying a slightly higher price. The Al Pastor also has a unique Smokey flavor that adds to the taste. It's my wife and I's favorite spot in the area. Nice late night taco truck. read more

Good food Good portions Ok Service I tried carne asada tacos, which were great, and al pastor tacos, which somewhat resemble the al pastor tacos you can get from Tacos El Gordo. I will definitely come back to this place and try out their other offerings. read more

I ordered an Al pastor burrito and two asada tacos. The service was fast because I went after 9pm. Be careful parking along the street, the trucks are located on a dark street. Overall good price and food! read more

Food is great. I keep coming back. Love the carne asada burrito with everything and 2 carne asada tacos. My favorite is their cucumber lemonade agua fresca read more

This used to be a delicious taco stand with actual asada al carbon that smelled delicious. They also used to have the tortillas made in front of you by hand. Don't see that anymore but they might make them inside the truck, idk. The portion is generous and its help yourself to rábanos and pepinos. It's not cheap but the large portion and large tacos do justice to the cost. The bad thing is that these guys don't remove the large pieces of fat from any of the meats. They serve it how it comes into the taco causing me to dig into my mouth and removing these large chunks of fat (hate that). If you like the fat then score for you. Lastly now that it's a taco truck the food doesn't taste freshly made like it did before. It tastes like reheated meats (Recalentado). The staff is nice and helpful except when the cashier does math in their head and doesn't give me all my change back. So check your change, Almost lost $10. Over all might be back but not anytime soon. Chino hardly has any good taco places. 3 stars for now. read more

Almost 50 bucks for 11 tacos is crazy. The pastor was mid / decent at most. Hand made tortillas? YEA , yet colder than a dog's nose. The asada man .. I didn't even touch those.. that was straight up donkey meat. All tacos served with a dark ahh avocado sauce.. not going to lie . I got home really disappointed. You can't say it was the drive because man I'm only 5 minutes away from these guys. I was really looking forward to these tacos specially since I've had and love the ones in LA by the dodger stadium. Never again. I pray my girl and I don't get food poisoned or something. read more

Super friendly service, the food is great! The waters are tasty, but you have to get there early since they sell out soon.

Before they had a truck, they used to set up under tents. After the truck, the burrito is half the size now. I've gone back 3-4 times so it wasn't just a one time thing. They are getting very popular so they figure they can lose a customer or two....like me. read more

quick service good tacos with cheese and pastor get the queso tacos or angels potatoes

Went here and ordered a burrito Al pastor and a asada burrito. Unfortunately the burrito Al pastor had RAW MEAT. My husband went to tell the workers and they just said mistakes happen. They didn't offer a refund and we weren't going to eat another burrito made by them so we just left. Money wasted. read more
