I had to finally contact the girls old school to send a complete immunization record to their new school, which had been sent to them by CCL yet CCL does not have a complete copy themselves. This was the final straw btw. Besides listening to one of the drs. Constantly bragging on everything they own, heated and chilled pool, how big their house is , their second home in Oregon (might have been Washington, conversation was weird). Also the doctor who when asked how my daughter broke her tailbone and when she replied "I saw this thing Simone Biles did on the Olympics" and he said she was a retard. Although this was said in jest I do think it is inappropriate for someone in the medical staff to say to a child. We then switched to another doctor in the clinic and she misdiagnosed a tumor on my daughters back and being sent to a dermatologist to have it removed. The dermatologist would NOT remove because she needed a surgeon and need more anesthesia than he felt comfortable giving her. When we finally saw a surgeon he opened her up and was shocked to find out that it was a hard calcified tumor instead of a lipoma as told to us by the doctor. He stated he would have handled it differently had he had the correct diagnosis. As in put her under general anesthesia and done the surgery in the surgical center.

We only waited a few minutes before being seen by a NP. Because I am not the guardian of my niece we had to have my sister FAX in approval. Her father was out of town and he had to send the proof of insurance by phone. The receptionist was very patient and very, very helpful with all the paperwork. The LVN and the nurse practioner were so kind to my niece and went out of their way to make her feel comfortable. I highly recommend them.

These kinds of situations are very frustrating when we have to coordinate time off work and pick up our children from day care, only to reschedule. Their phone system is quite unnerving too because you will call and be in the queue, 4th in line. Wait 15 minutes and then it will hang up on you suddenly (or a receptionist hung up), so your only option is to call back and sit in the queue all over again. Secretaries that work here can sometimes be rude but can also be great -- really hit or miss. The only reason we put up with the place is because Huntsville is limited and the actual medical staff is excellent. I can say without a doubt, the nurses and doctors here are wonderful. So when t became my time for a yearly physical it really was a no brainer for me! Moving up here from Houston we are having to switch all our doctors, dentist, everything. I am happy that we have found our new PCP (doctors). They are pretty prompt and very efficient the nursing staff is personable and Dr Obrien is down to earth, listens and really takes the chance to get to know you... you are a person and she does not rush to move you through like cattle!

Furthermore, I overheard the nurse making derogatory comments about me from behind the window, claiming that I always had problems. Despite having known Dr. Scott for over 20 years, this experience was unacceptable, and I will not return to this practice. I hope Dr. Scott can find a more suitable environment to provide care for his patients.

Once they told me they close early on Fridays, then another day they said they don't. Take forever to sign off on anything. Have to be called multiple times to sign paperwork. Tried to schedule with them 4 times and never got an appointment or saw anyone. This is where CHILDREN are supposed to be cared for? We're headed back to our old doctor's office. It's in another town, but at least when I call them they answer and I can speak to someone right away and get my children seen right away. I don't care how far I have to drive, it's still faster than this place

We've been using Little Jacks Pediatrics since my daughter was a year old. They've always been…read moresuper sweet, caring, and loving to us. They've been patient with us while getting my daughter diagnosed with ADHD and Asperger's. They've been diligent to make sure she was getting what she needed with her medicines and dosages. Only once in these 7 years have we had to reschedule because the dr. was sick. That can't be helped but they rescheduled us right away. I couldn't imagine going to another doctor for her.
