To my surprise, she has handled each one with every follow up appointment. For example, I thought the lights were too bright, especially when you flip over and face upwards. I've noticed she turns down the lights at that moment. I also thought a heated eye mask would feel much more comfortable, and she remembers to add a heated towel instead of just covering my eyes. Lastly, I had concerns with confirming appointments because I never received confirmation emails after the first appointment. However, she responds to texts within probably 30 minutes and is just extremely professional overall. I recommend Jesika to all my gym buddies and hope they come! Your body will thank you!

My most recent appointment was with Mary and I booked an hour and 15 minute Deep Tissue Message with her. She did a great job and really worked on my trouble areas- especially a knot in my shoulder. In addition to the great massage, the atmosphere itself just goes the extra mile. The room was really dark and relaxing. There was also a weighted blanket and heated pad which really took it to next level in terms of comfort. I cannot speak on my boyfriend's experience as much but I do know he said he would have preferred more of a gentle massage with longer strokes to ease out the knots and kinks in his back and shoulders. I have been hesitant to even leave this review but I feel it important to share at least. On one occasion, Helen P. briefly answered my call and stated she would respond to my email the following week because then wasn't a good time, but I never received a follow-up. After continued attempts to communicate, I still received little to no response. As someone pursuing clinical training opportunities, I believe professionalism, responsiveness, and clear communication are incredibly important. Unfortunately, this experience did not leave a positive first impression, and based on my experience, I would not recommend Carrollton Springs to prospective interns or practicum students seeking a supportive and communicative placement site.

The stylist I had took great care to ask me a number of questions about my hair and how I wanted to have it cut, taking great detail into each of the specific answers I gave. Honestly, a number of questions I didn't even have an answer for because I had never been asked before. I'm not one for small talk when I'm in the barber chair, and the stylist picked up on that extremely quickly and just let me breathe. Given how long my hair was when I came in, I came away extremely impressed with how my haircut turned out, and my beard looks great. The paraffin dip seemed a little silly, but feeling pampered was nice. The scalp, facial, neck and arm massage was enjoyable. I came in shortly after the CDC advised that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask, but brought a mask in anyway. Everyone working at the location was wearing masks and practicing proper guidelines to keep things clean. I was given the option of wearing or not wearing my mask. Given my vaccinated state, this seemed more than reasonable. Great experience. Not something I'll do every month when I need a haircut, but a nice treat.
