Breakfast is served!
Jenna M.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast, situated in the historic district of Milan. The innkeepers, Judy and Bernie, made us feel like we were at home, from the warm welcome we received upon arrival, to the friendly good mornings and home made breakfast we enjoyed in the garden gazebo. The rooms were impeccably clean and spacious. The bedding and pillows were of high quality, with an extra warm blanket slipped between the sheets for a cooler evening. Each room had a private bathroom across the hall, equipped with an abundance of towels, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner (and the really good kind! not the stingy travel pack ones). And to top it all off, Judy places homemade sugar cookies in each of the rooms (perfect late night snack!) The food was fantastic. Judy and Bernie ask you to let them know what time you would like to eat breakfast, and they take care of the rest. There are several places to eat - for those who prefer to dine indoors, there is a dining room next to the kitchen, or you can eat in the Gazebo encased with screened windows (to keep those pesky bugs out), or a covered patio in the middle of the garden. Each option had beautifully laid out table settings and comfortable seating. The first day, Judy whipped us up some decadent french toast topped with whipped cream and fresh strawberries, with a side of crispy bacon. Bernie made us a fresh pot of coffee using their french press (delicious!) and served us orange juice. The next morning we enjoyed a succulent piece of ham with pineapples, scrambled eggs sprinkled with melted american cheese and seasoning, and a side of pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries. Absolutely fantastic and just what we needed before starting our action packed day. Judy and Bernie also put out crackers, cookies, and a fridge full of stuff that is "communal." As Bernie told us "I didn't count how many beers are in the fridge ; )" Judy and Bernie were also great conversationalists and travel guides. They pointed us in the right direction for local dining gems as well as worthwhile sights to see - Thomas Jefferson's house was located just down the block and Bernies personal recommendation "the Addam's family house" right before you reach the dead end. Overall we had a wonderful experience here and I highly recommend anyone traveling through Ohio to check this place out!

Was looking for a place near Cedar point to stay and found this adorable B & B. Judy and Bernie were so amazing on our stay. I've only been to a few B & B's and I highly recommend this one. Everything about this place is magical and beautiful :-)

What a peaceful, welcoming room.

Nice place if you like Greek/Victorian Homes. Breakfast is excellent (Keish, rolls, sausage, tea,…read morecoffee, Scones, etc). Service is well above Par. They make you feel like home. They know the local scene, and have been running this B&B for close to 20 yrs. Lake and Pier are a stones throw away. Sandusky is just up the road and Huron has a nice Italian restaurant about 5 mins away. Do Chez Francois (15 mins) if you like French Cuisine and aren't afraid to pay. Bed was super comfy. No TV's,(Wifi but I didn't use). Grounds have a pool and covered deck area. Even if it rains you can hang outside. Guests were super easy to talk to and there was a TV downstairs to catch the games. They have a fridge and full kitchen for your use (we ate out). Great place to spend a wknd!

I'm glad they were able to deal with our flight being delayed that caused us to arrive at 1:00am…read more I don't usually stay at B&Bs so I'm used to the continental breakfast thing that's available from 6-9, not be down for breakfast at 9:00am on the nose; although the breakfast quiches were both quite tastey. Also something I'm not used to is the intimate feel of the dining room; one big table so you're face to face with the other people staying there... the dining room is also where the wifi works best from (pretty fickley from the second floor bedroom) My parents and I stayed in the Captain's room, where 2 of the 3 mirrors were at chest height and the distance between the front of the toilet and a wall was almost equal to the distance between my hip and my knee... for historical accuracy because people used to be shorter?
