I cannot say enough wonderful things about Angel Paws! I recently moved to the area and spent an entire day looking at daycare places for my 1-year-old Yorkie puppy before finding Debbie and her business. She is very kind and understanding of my unpredictable schedule and is always willing to work with me. Plus her prices are very reasonable and can't be beat! She keeps the dogs in her house, which is a wonderful environment, and lets them out to play in her backyard. I love the fact that Luca isn't kenneled, placed on a concrete slab for most of the day, or surrounded by too many dogs like most of the other places around here. She is very diligent about how many animals (she cares for both dogs and cats) she has and is very thorough in her care and cognizant of each of their needs. I've been taking Luca there for a week now and he's come home everyday happy and tuckered out from playing! She also does grooming and her prices for those are very reasonable. I haven't gotten him groomed yet but based on some of the other dogs I've seen who were, she does a fantastic job! I'm very impressed by her care and am grateful that I found her. Her love and dedication to our pets is easily seen and I really appreciate all the attention she gives to them. I wouldn't recommend any other place than Angel Paws for daycare, petsitting, and grooming! read more

My boyfriend and I brought our Yorkie here last Monday. My boyfriend's mother groomed her for years, but she doesn't have much time for that anymore. So we first tried Petsmart, which was a big mistake. After that, we knew we wanted a groomer who genuinely loved and cared about dogs. Angel Paws was perfect. We met both the owner and the groomer when we arrived to drop off our Yorkie, and they were very thorough in the questions they asked us. The price was fair, and when we came back, the cut was perfect, and our Yorkie was in high spirits. She is a high stress lady with some separation anxiety issues, so the fact that she was so stress-free meant a lot to us. At this point, I am only sad that we didn't discover this place sooner. In a month, we are moving to a different state, so it looks like our good experience with Angel Paws last Monday will be our only one! read more

My daughter will be going to UofI so my family and I went there for a visit so I tried to find a place near the University to board our Mini Schnauzer so I found Angel Paws. I have to admit I was first a bit skeptical pulling up to a house but that changed immediately after meeting Debbie and walking thru where our Princess would be staying. We felt VERY comfortable, you can ABSOLUTELY tell that Debbie is an animal lover and we knew we were leaving her in good hands. And the price blew us away, VERY AFFORDABLE! I have been looking for a new groomer for awhile for my two english bulldogs. I finally selected Angels Paws because of the good reviews. It was a good choice. When I called to get an appointment it was no problem whatsoever (she was willing to fit them in the same day but I couldn't get it together fast enough for that) and they really seemed to appreciate my business (not many seem to these days). I took both my fur babies in for a bath and mani/pedi :-) Everyone was extremely friendly and while I didn't see any bandanas - they were both very fresh and happy. I took my sweet yorkie Bella Jo to a few different places before I was lucky enough to find Debbie and her amazing girls. I always know my baby girl is in great hands when I drop her off. Debbie clearly loves what she does, and so do her girls. Bella always looks and smells amazing when I pick her up. From hair, to nails, to blueberry facials and warm towel massages (which B loved) and so much more, Debbie and the girls do it all. I refuse to go anywhere else. Angel Paws is a wonderful way for your pet to be cared for in a home environment by a person who beocmes a friend for your dog. I felt our lively golden puppy was too young for three days in a kennel, so I read the reviews and placed him at Angel Paws and now, I continue to put him there as he matures. Not only is he cared for and loved, he is happy to return there regularly. A doggie report card lists his behaviors: eating. sleeping, interactions with other dogs, and general in house behavior. Took my Dachshund, Snickers to Angel Paws to be groomed and can't remember a nicer experience. I sat and waited for my little guy while he was treated like royalty. The groomer did an excellent job and the price was reasonable. Really liked being able to sit and see everything that happened with him. There were other pets being groomed when I was there and they were all treated like royalty. All of the groomers were great with the animals and the grooming. I would recommend Angel Paws to anyone that wants a great groom and a positive experience for their fur babies. read more

Angel Paws did a wonderful job watching my puppy George this past weekend while I was in Chicago. I am pleased that George was a good little boy.He even learned how to use the doggy door as well as how to go up and down the stairs. Before I brought him to Angel Paws he refused to go down and up the stairs because he was nervous. Debbie was very patient with him and helped him learn how to use the stairs and also the doggy door. What a wonderful experience for our dog and us! We were worried about boarding our newly adopted rescue dog because he is still kind of fearful of things and people. However, a family illness required our attention, so we dropped off the dog and hoped for the best. When we came to pick up our dog, he was just as happy as can be! Not stressed and not whining. We've brought our small dog Drake to Angel Paws for boarding several times over the past few years. Drake can be anxious at times, even at home, but he has done well at Angel Paws. Debbie is gentle, attentive, and her love for animals really shows. These days, Drake gets excited and prances around when he sees me packing his supplies for a stay at Angel Paws! I gave them my Cat! I told them to give him a shave! I was afraid because I had let them know that my precious baby Kitten Boy had a poopy butt, but I wasn't sure if they understood what I meant. His hair was so long, and it had become a problem with the poop situation. They were graceful! The Kitten Boy was happy! They had helped him overcome his poop problem and he is now a regular Cat again. I can now leave home in the morning trusting the Kitten Boy will not spread poop on the floor. When my husband brought her home from your salon, she smelled amazing, so much that our Border Collie couldn't stop sniffing her- and he can't stand to be around her like that. I brought my two dogs for the first time one of my dogs was very aggressive and I was not sure they could groom her no else could , well they did it and they did a wonderful job I was so happy they calm her down no one could groom her at all I must say thank you for all they help an will continue to see them for my service and thanks for doing my other dog he was more passive and calm so he was easy to do I really love this place I am so lucky I found them.... once again Thanks for all your help I love the cut!!!! read more

Angel Paws are the best. We had 2 American bull dogs that we had a hard time finding any one to watch when we went on family vacations. Needless to say Debbie and Rob came to our rescue. They gave both dogs the best care and knew how to keep them calm. Sadly one of our dogs passed and we weren't sure how the other would handle being alone. But they are so good to him and treat him like their own. Also he is a big dog( baby) at bath time and thank goodness they are able to do it. So grateful to you both. read more

I called about getting my Alaskan Malamute groomed and was able to get an appointment less than 2 days later. Coming out of the COVID-19 lockdown she really needed some TLC, so they did a brush out, bath, and nail trim on her. It seems like a lot of their clientele have smaller dogs so I wasn't sure how they would do with a larger dog, but when I came to get her I was extremely happy with the results. I will definitely be coming back the next time she needs some professional attention. read more

My husband and I have been taking our Maggie Mae (gordon setter/lab mix) to Angel Paws for two years. We have taken her for several one nighters, twonighters, and just recently a 3nighter. She is so happy to be there that she doesn't even care when we leave. When we pick her up, she is a very happy girl. We adore our dog and we would not leave her with just anyone. I took my Fur Baby for his first grooming. He is 6 1/2. I was worried that he would be afraid & snarly like he is at the vet. To my surprise, I think he enjoyed his spa treatment!! They were finishing his trim when I arrived to pick him up. He was standing there very calmly, like a little prince who does this all the time! Debbie, the owner, is a wonderful, caring person! I feel fortunate to be able to have Debbie take care of my older rescue dog. My chihuahua, Minnie is very attached to me, and I was concerned that she might miss me. She was comfortable with Debbie right away, and didn't seem to be upset when I left. It's a unique environment. Very homey. I would never feel comfortable boarding her anyplace where she'd be in a cage, since she spent so much time at a shelter. We're fortunate to have such a wonderful option for our fur babies. read more
