While we were helping him get set up, he touched one of the laser tag guns and an employee immediately got irritated and told him in a very rude tone that he "doesn't understand" and couldn't play anymore. He's a young child -- kids that age are still learning and developing at different paces. There was no need to speak to him that way, especially in front of everyone. He ended up in tears. When I calmly approached to understand what happened, the employee continued with the same attitude and dismissive behavior. Instead of de-escalating, she became confrontational, which eventually led to security being called and us being asked to leave. The situation was completely blown out of proportion and handled in a very unprofessional way. This is a children's venue. Staff should be patient, understanding, and trained to communicate appropriately with young kids and their parents. If someone doesn't have the temperament to work around children, this may not be the right environment for them. On top of that, the playground area itself raises safety concerns. There are kids of all ages running full speed through a treehouse-style structure with steep stairs and heavy traffic, which feels like an accident waiting to happen without proper supervision or flow control. Very disappointing experience overall. Parents should be aware of how interactions are handled here.

Great space for adults to hang out with their kids. Snacks and an abundance of kids play equipment and much more. I've been bringing my son here since 2023. And now my baby who is about to be 1. They love it. Never had a bad experience yet, just a few poor interactions my kids have had with other kids. But resolved always quickly. The Discovery Museum is located on this property too, it's a must see . They have various high end places to eat if you want a "great meal." As you walk lots of furry friends are out enjoying their daily routines. A lot of individuals call this place home, with condos all around us . It is not overly spacious and it got a bit crowded which could coincide with the President's Day holiday. Even so, it did not prohibit our girls from trying most of the facilities. Bonus points for Friendship Park being right next door, because the vibes here are actually good and not just "posted-on-a-sign" good. We've been coming here for years and it never misses. Every visit delivers the same thing: peace. It's beautiful without trying too hard. Some days it honestly feels like you took a wrong turn and accidentally crossed into another state,calmer, greener, quieter... and nobody asking you for anything. Perfect place to walk the dogs, let the kids burn off every ounce of energy, or just sit and clear your head when it's been running at 100 mph all day. Visited Centennial Hills Park (dog park area) and honestly had such a great experience from start…read moreto finish. First off...parking was a breeze. There's plenty of it, and it's super close to the dog park, which is always a plus when you've got excited pups ready to go. The park itself is split into a small dog area and a large dog area, and both sides were well maintained. The grass was green and mostly clean, and there were multiple shaded seating areas to relax while keeping an eye on your dog. I really appreciated the water fountains placed around specifically for the dogs, they looked clean and well kept, which isn't always the case at dog parks. There are also lots of trees, so even on warmer days, you can find shade easily. There were easily 15+ dogs there during our visit, and the overall vibe was great. Most of the dogs came over to say hello, and they all appeared healthy, well groomed, and social. No aggressive behavior at all... just the occasional male dog trying to assert dominance, but nothing escalated and owners stayed attentive and in control. That alone says a lot about the type of crowd this park attracts. Speaking of people...everyone we encountered was friendly, respectful, and responsible. It was really nice to see that every dog owner we noticed picked up after their pets. That level of consideration makes a huge difference. Beyond the dog park, the rest of the park was just as lively. The volleyball courts were packed with groups having a good time, and the fields were full of soccer teams ranging from little kids to teens. Even the restroom was well maintained, soap to wash your hands, full rolls of toilet paper, no trash or debris on the floor no floaters in the toilets. The playground was surprisingly not crowded, and it looks like it's been updated....there were no traditional slides, but instead more interactive and physical play structures like climbing ropes, stairs, and obstacle style features that make it fun in a different way. Even the parking lot experience stood out... people were patient, respectful, and courteous. One driver even pulled back into their spot after starting to back out just to let me pass, even though I had paused for them. It's little things like that that really add to the overall experience. All in all, it was an amazing day at the park. The weather was perfect, which definitely helped set the tone, but the cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, and thoughtful layout of the park really made it stand out. This is one of those places you'll want to keep coming back to.

There were a lot of parents w/ youngsters here, and everyone was so friendly & happy. I was extremely impressed to see (as much as it can be a pain for me on the job) that absolutely EVERY piece of electrical or telco equipment was barricaded behind steel cages- and painted well to blend in. You'd never really know a cellular compound lies within, unless REALLY paying attention. There were others utilizing the tennis/racquetball courts, and I think I saw basketball, also? But, plenty of courts open- so it doesn't seem overcrowded at all, and it was a more popular time, late afternoon just after school but ample time before dinner. Public restrooms, plenty of drinking/water fountains, and lots of picnic tables! The walking paths are nice & well maintained- benches along the way. And I believe I also saw a bbq? The parking is pretty adequate & very well set up with convenient entrance/exit access. It felt like a lovely destination for a family day at the park or gathering that can be fun for all. And let me also say- the padding on the surface of the children's playground area is HEAVENLY soft & squishy!!! Omg- for someone on their feet 12+ hours a day, I was so tempted to take my shoes off & fully indulge in that comfort of a padded platform! Rest assured- kids will fall & into total comfort! Why didn't we have this in the 80's & 90's on our playgrounds?!? But either way- I wish I could have conducted my entire job standing on that slice of pampering! The plaque up front suggested this is a Memorial Park for Bob Baskin. Very lovely seating area surrounding. And, I loved the vicinity because of the vegetation, as well. Pecolle Little League uses the baseball fields as their designated fields, so am at the park often. The bathroom by the field is largely maintained by the snack shack so most of the time will be supplied and clean. The fields are in fair shape as well with dug outs and a sitting stand area on each side. There is ample parking and some of the parking is actually covered. There are some homeless/people that park in the park, but they are on the side near the play area. I do see regular cops that patrol them and the area, so they don't seem to really bother anyone. There is a small play area and some grass area with trees. The ice cream man makes a regular appearance.
