I have been going to Angel Nails for a very long time now. Usually, I have a good experience. But, the last few times I've gone, the experience has not been the best. Last time I visited, the nail Polish on my toes started peeling up within a few days. During my most recent visit, the woman doing my nails made me bleed twice. First she stabbed my big toe with her nail clipper. Then when sanding my toes, she sanded the skin above my big toe but blamed it on me cutting my nails too short. However, she trimmed every single one of my toe nails. She did a lousy job applying polish and I asked her to fix her errors but she gave me such attitude. The only reason I am giving 3 is because Tao does the best job on my eyebrows and she doesn't deserve a bad review. read more

Rude and unprofessional nail technician. I went in for a dip manicure. I left with tips, and no dip. When she cut the tips to the length of her liking, I told her I wanted my nails longer. She tried peeling the plastic tips off with her finger nails. I responded "I'd prefer you not rip it off", and she threw her nail file. She soaked that tip off, and continued on the others. Each nail a different length and each one not straight. When asking her to fix them because they were crooked she became impatient and unkind and told me that there was nothing wrong with them. After asking her to once again fix the nails that were not shaped correctly/crooked she told me to have someone else do my nails. I had already been waiting thirty minutes past the time of my appointment, and the other person I was with was completely done. I asked to just leave and have them done somewhere else. read more

My husband absolutely loved his spa pedicure. On the other hand I got a set of acrylics I wanted a airbrush French manicure, the girl that did my nails told me they didn't offer that so that was a bummer, she asked if I wanted white tips I said no, she got an attitude, she asked what shape I wanted I told her, they came out horrible. No conversation no customer service interaction, that's not the way to run a business. But my husband will continue to go back to Helen who did his spot pedicure who he loved. read more

I went in for a pedicure. I should have asked for the original owner. But no one there speaks English very well. I got there at my appointed time. One girl seated me in the chair, walked away and took a personal phone call. Another girl reluctantly took her place. I noticed all the employees were new except for the owners. I will not go back. She was not professional, she hurt as she clipped and pulled my cuticles, cut my big toe nail crooked, wiped all the tools off on my feet instead of the towel! Totally grossed out! Not sure if there has been new management since all the complaint reviews, but this is the place to go. I have very long stiletto nails that require a hard working nail tech who knows what they are doing and takes there time and does them right. That's Helen. She has been doing them since I moved to Fall River two years ago and charges me a very fair price compared to other nail salons that I've gone to and because I'm a regular customer she always give me the lowest price she can. She is a miracle worker. Spa pedicures are worth the 38$ for they give you the WORKS.. hot stone massage, paraffin wax, leg mask etc.. and all of them are so nice. Who cares if they speak another language!? Two or more of them ONLY speak that language so this is how they communicate! Best place... "hands down"!! read more

I went here with some girl friends, deciding to treat myself to a full set and a pedicure for the first time in a very long time. I try and get pedicures regularly but the last time I got a full set was over a year ago. Still, I know how long it should last, and one week for $50 nah. Not so much. The woman doing my full set had an open cut on her hand, and was bleeding all over me the whole time. At first, I thought I had the cut, it wasn't until she was finished that I noticed she was the one with the cut. The pointer finger nail on my least used hand's nail snapped off a mere 5 days after they'd been done. I didn't feel it, it was just gone, on the day of the event I had gotten them done for. One minute it was there, I poured myself a drink, and looked down and it was gone. After said event, I noticed my toe was extremely sore and couldn't understand why. When the soreness had subsided a week later, I decided perhaps my nail was too long and was bumping against my shoe causing my discomfort. I began to clip the nail, and discovered why it had been so sore, as the blister filled with nastiness began to drain. Disgusted, I stopped what I was doing, found some Neosporin and a bandaid and hoped for the best. Now a month later, my toenail that contracted the infection has fallen off, which means pedicures are out of the picture for some time. In short. I do not advise going to this salon, unless you want a gnarly infection, and to waste money on nails that won't last more than a week. read more

I went to this place for the location as it was close by my house, it was very busy, but the staff was overall friendly. However, it was not a very 'personal' experience as I had 3 different people do my fill, it started to feel like it was just being rushed, and the design I had requested was not very neat. The lady that was next to me was feeling very similar thoughts. I might give this place a try again if absolutely desperate, or real short on time. read more

I was a faithful customer and used to go here all the time a couple of years ago. I don't know what happened- but service is horrendous now- aside from the woman who does facials and waxes eyebrows. Pedicures look good but aren't relaxing. I feel like they're always focused on something other than what they're doing and they really rush you through. Kinda sad. I had been going to Angel Nails for a few years and was always happy with their work. The experience has changed this summer. Even though all of the same people/owners are there it is different. The place is now dirty, and the people who do the nails do not use acceptable hygiene when working with instruments and towels. I saw a manicurist take the facecloth used to collect nail clippings and polish scraping shake the debris all over the floor. The staff is more interested in watching TV programs and talking with each other to bother with the clients. I witnessed the owner's husband attempt to dissuade a client in a wheelchair to come back another day because they were busy! I've picked gel colors from the samples and the bottle that they use doesn't match. When I say it doesn't match, they try to convince me that it does, or this color would look nice too. One of the worst nail salons of all the ones I've been through over time! This was a 1 time shellac polish change no mani! I sat down they all started talking their own language looking at me then they moved me to another chair! It took 3 minutes for the polish change! It looked ok nothing exciting and nothing terrible it just looked ok! The white on the French was alittle thicker than I like but I wasnt going to make a big deal about it! When I checked out to the amount of$25 I wasn't at all happy! Three days later my shellac is peeling off the entire nail bed in 1 piece! I won't waist my time or energy going bk there for a fix because I will not be able to deal with those people in a professional manner! I'll be going bk to my own nail place this week and I will just move on from this place! I want everyone to know this place is a waiste of time and money hands down! Don't even try it! read more
