I got my facial with Angela and her team, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. As someone who gets facials every two months or so, I can say they were professional, high-quality, and very service-oriented from start to finish. I was referred by friends in SF and happened to be in the area, so I checked in at the last minute and managed to get a weekday appointment. This is located in the Sunset area of SF, and street parking, and she has two businesses, but it's right up the stairs to the left. Angela recommended the right facial for my skin type, and my skin felt noticeably better afterward. They also took before and after pictures, which was a nice touch and helped show the results. Recommended the right facial for my skin type. I thought I was going to come in for an acne facial because I had some minor acne, but she pointed out and recognized that I have dry skin, so we ended up with the hydrating facial. After the 90-minute session, Angela went above and beyond by educating me on what they did and why it matters. She also explained the different products they carry and the packages they offer, but there was no pressure when I mentioned I was already using products right now. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely come back again read more

I recently tried Angela and her team's facial treatment for the first time, and I was absolutely thrilled! Professional, high-quality, and with excellent service. After the 90-minute treatment, Angela patiently explained the process and its importance to me. As a man, I was initially hesitant because I don't have a skincare routine, so facials weren't a top priority for me. My skin is quite sensitive, so I was very skeptical when she suggested I start using skincare products. But she understood my situation and created a super simple daily skincare routine for me, requiring only three products. I've been using the Japanese cleanser, toner, and lotion for a week now and have received many compliments--redness has lessened, and my skin is more hydrated. Take good care of your skin, and you'll reap the benefits. I'll be back soon, thank you Angela! read more

Game changing! Came in after winning a gift certificate from our school auction and WOW! She took one look at my skin and recommended two different facial treatment options for different price points. 90 very relaxing minutes later my skin looks 10 years younger. I still can't believe it! I haven't seen my skin so vibrant since pre-kids! I highly recommend their service and will be back! read more

My cousin treated me to a facial for my birthday and it was a wonderful present. Angela provided such care and my skin never looked better.

Very good feeling! And the service so nice! They very professional, I just did there time and my skin look better and great change.

Angel Face SPA is the best beauty salon I've ever been to. They offer a great environment, excellent service, and high-quality products.

it's been a few months and I've been doing the new treatment/using the products my new facialist recommended for my skin type. The acne scarring on my nose is healing, so I think it was actually this place that caused the severe acne scarring on my nose. read more

I have been using the cosmetic products of mernard line: day cream, night cream, serum and eye cream... for 6 months and I'm quite happy with the result. My skin is getting better more smooth and balance. The cream absorb much better. The texture is so refreshing and hydrating on my face. It makes skin feel amazingly soft, tighten and reduce wrinkles. But I do know it does not have any stores in SF. You can find in Angel Face Spa at Noriega Street. She's very knowledgeable about the products and the service is excellent. read more

Great treatment! Bought a 4 pack, have done 2/4 sessions and seeing lots of improvement.

Angela is the owner of this business. She greeted me with warm conversations and a facial assessment. Erica took over to do my treatment. I did the full facial with peel and added on more treatment after seeing instant results on my face following the treatment. I wasn't able to take a before and after photo but man did I feel good after! My face really needed that! I can't wait to come back in 2 weeks for my next session! Angela also suggested some products which I bought as well. 10/10 after my sessions I can't wait to try more services!! read more

They had advanced machines, clean environment, and high quality products. All the staffs were really nice and friendly. My face looks really good after the treatment. read more

This hole in the wall place has been operating in SF for over 10 years. They are definitely very experienced and know what they're doing. My skin is quite dry this time of the year, so I was recommended to get the spa face soothing facial treatment. It was well worth it. The treatment involves using blue light and a special face mask which not only moistures the skin, but whitens it up a bit. My face looked so healthy after! After the treatment, I was given a cup of healthy tea that had been brewed for hours. The tea you are given depends on the type of treatment you get. Definitely check out this place if you are in the area! read more

Wonderful service and staff. Always a great experience. Salon is clean and has the latest facial techniques and machines

Ángela and team are fantastic! I bought the service at a school auction and wasn't sure what to expect - but she is so conscientious about skin types and relaxation - I'm going to keep coming back! read more

Amazing facial. Relaxing and my skin comes out glowing. They also give you a shoulder and head massage, and tea to end the treatment.

Very nice. I liked the service. Very calming music. Good products. No overpriced products.

I have known Angela for more than 20 years. I am very satisfied with her service. The products are genuine and the techniques are in place. Moreover, she often updates the equipment to keep up with the times. The new services often surprise me and the results are very good. I highly recommend it. read more

Tried for the first time and really felt the difference from the first visit! They greeted me with a warm welcome before going through the procedure clearly. From there, the room I was led into was very comfortable and I was instructed to lay down to start the process. The process was very simple, and afterward the staff would show me the difference of the before and after. Seeing the comparison, I tell that my skin looked more healthy and much better. They instructed me on how to take care of my skin, and also gave me products to use for at home use. The staff also gave me advice on what to eat more, and gave me lovely herbal tea and biscuits to eat. Overall, the service here was amazing, as well as the results of better skin. Would recommend to anyone wanting to achieve clearer skin. read more

Angel Face is the best, with good service and ambience! They get to know you and always give complimentary snacks :)

Good service, nice people, helpful, perfect experience! Gonna recommend my friends! Cheers!

I've had acne for two decades now, and nothing has cleared up my skin as well as this spa has. I've tried everything under the sun for my skin (homemade remedies, diet changes, oral and topical dermatologist prescriptions, luxury and drugstore items) and none of it actually took care of the root problem. I've had two facials at Angel Face so far and it's the longest my skin has stayed blemish-free, plus my acne scars are significantly faded. This is also in part due to some of the products I purchased from there, especially the TK face wash cream. On top of the quality of the facials, you also get a scalp, neck, and shoulders massage with each facial that is heavenly. The whole staff is kind and professional, and Angela deserves a special shout out for being so helpful, funny, and friendly! read more

Today I finally got my 3 layers peel with Angela. This peel is painless yet super effective. My skin feel like baby skin. Pores is refined as my biggest concerns. Due to my good skin condition. Angela recommended once every 2 months to maintain my result. Aging is a pain but keeping it up is a luxury lifestyle I rather spend on. Great friendly service. It's not my first also not my last. read more

Angel Face Spa - Myself - Skin Care Near Me - San Francisco, California

I've been coming to Angel Face since 2019. I have gotten a facial every month! My skin tends to be super dry, textured, and congested. I always come out looking and feeling so much better. I've been to many facial places and this is a great one. I've left other places that do extractions with super irritated scabs. This is not the case with Angel Face. This is a clean, no frills kind of place. I think they have great value for the cost of their services. I appreciate they keep it real with you on what your face needs. Love the ladies there, they are so kind and great at what they do. This will continue to be my regular spot! read more

I always feel so well taken care of and relaxed when I go. Angela is very insightful and knows exactly what my skin needs and overall health. The products they sell are top notch-nourishing and very effective. I use the acne cream, colax serum and milk lotion-my skin stays soothed and hydrated. Highly recommend! read more

Angel Face Spa - So happy and relaxed after my facial! - Skin Care Near Me - San Francisco, California

Just got my facial and massage done at Angel Face. This is probably a long overdue review since I have been a client for a couple years now but this is a review I would love to share with the world because this place is just that amazing. My face is living proof. No filter or anything. This is as real as it gets when you invest in your health and lifestyle. They truly know how to take care of you here. They have many treatments that you can choose from. Each tailored to different types of skin. The tea they serve is out of this world. The ladies working here are sweet and the service is professional. They are really attentive to detail. Give this place a try! You won't regret it. read more

Angel Face Spa - No filter. Just facial, eyes treatment, and bodywork done! - Skin Care Near Me - San Francisco, California

I have only visited this establishment once. I think the massage was average. The more major issue I had was their business model. As some other reviews point out, they try to sell you packages of 5 or 10 services, which is fine and I often give in easily to these kinds of deals. However, the way they approach customers with it was very uncomfortable for me. I personally think I have pretty good skin, but when the owner Angela examined my face as she was pushing the package on me, she said that my face looked "dirty", that the salon I frequent wasn't good and that I should start going to them beause they could do a better job. Ok even if I was delusional and truly didn't have good skin, that is a horrible thing to say! Not to mention I initially went there for a special and she already pushed me to pay extra for an upgrade (I do give in easily to these things...). Finally, as I was leaving I said I would have to think about the package, and will come back next time for it if I decide I want it. Hearing this Angela decided to try to coerce me one more time, and said there wouldn't be a next time because the package was only available for purchase today since they were doing a mother's day special. Well...reading the other reviews here, I don't think so? Seems like everyone was given this offer whenever they went. read more

Nothing beats getting a massage and facial on a day off. Lying in the warm comfortable bed put me to sleep like a baby. I left feeling so relaxed, thanks to Bella. She was great at explaining the products she was using on my face and has such a gentle touch. The products are of high quality - from Japan and suitable for my sensitive combination skin. To add, Angela the business owner is amazing, you can tell she truly cares about the progress your skin is making and gives her honest opinions. I would highly recommend you check Angel Face out! I left with a package of facials, looking forward to coming back again! read more

They are usually appointment only, but I was lucky enough to come in 10 minutes after I gave them a call. I had a deep cleansing facia (90 minutes/ $75), however, because I have sensitive skin type, they recommended me to upgrade to the $85 one which uses products that are specific for my skin type. I love that their bed was warm and every step of the treatment was done delicately. My face felt so much cleaner and hydrated after the facial. read more

I've been coming here for a year and purchased the 10 series package. Considering that I am a true facial connoisseur (tried every place in SF & Bay Area for 20 years), my review is unbiased. The reason why I'm not giving this 4 or 5 stars is because of their hard sales tactic. Here is my detailed review: 5 stars for facial technique 2 stars for being EXTREMELY pushy with products to where I finally gave in and purchased the eye cream for $150 AND it works just as well as the eye cream from Walgreens (L'oreal) for $13.99! Waste of money! 2 stars for being extremely pushy with renewing my package (when I still had 4x left) When does it ever end?? Once I am done with my package I am not sure if I want to renew based on the customer experience. Again, technique is great but the hard salesman tactics really turn me off. read more

3.5 stars rounded up I came here the other day with my boyfriend. If you've read my previous reviews then you will know that I am huge on facials and since moving to SF I've been in search for the right facial place @ the right price. I called and got an appointment the same day to come in with my BF. It would be his first time getting a facial since I kept telling him how good facials are for your skin. Angela was really nice upon our arrival and she greeted me and my boyfriend and had us go into our rooms to change. Her associate had did my boyfriend and I was done by her. So here are the reviews of the facials based on what I had received: Angela was really nice and tried to explain everything that she was doing to me { The Process } She did cleansing twice, exfoliating scrub, steam, extractions and then a thin layer mask with LED light to kill off bacteria that may cause infection or create acne, followed by the collagen mask. Included were also back, neck { Things I Liked } The extractions were good. She got the major ones out of my forehead that my previous facial about a week ago in LA at MiSarang failed to do. The extractions part and her ability to have cleaned up what the other facialist is a huge reason why I've given Angel Face 3.5 stars { Things that I didn't like } - Mid way into the facial Angela had told me that I should do a facial treatment that is $85 even though I had originally called in for a $55 European Collagen and then when I arrived she told me to get the deep pore cleansing with my boyfriend at $65. This becomes a problem because when you're already laying down and getting your face worked on it's a little hard to say no to something like this. So I just went with it thinking there would be something amazing or different about the facial, but there wasn't anything to be worth the extra $20 compared to the deep cleansing. I was really looking for good extractions and I think the deep cleansing would have been enough. - When she was removing my eye makeup, which is waterproof she notes that my under eyes are really dark and shows me in the mirror how it is darker than my skin tone, but this was in fact because the makeup wasn't taken fully off. My skin isn't too bad and every time I cleanse my face on my own my dull skin always looks brighter and clean, so I know it wasn't because I was tired or because it was really that bad. My daily routine includes oil cleanser around my eyes to remove the waterproof makeup, which then makes my eyes look like a panda. Then it is followed by a 1-2 minute cleansing massage. After I'm done my skin looks fresh, even in tone and definitely not with black - The other thing that kind of bugged me was that it seemed like I got a changing top that was already used before/old. I am not sure if it is but it looked a dirty and it was loose. I felt uncomfortable wearing it. Other places that I've been too had fresh new ones to wear after each clients (there were always baskets to dispose your towel tops) - The body massage was painful. I am not really into massages so this was worst. She was going really hard at it and especially around the neck area. This ended up become sore the next day when I woke up :( - I think I should have been prepared for this since I did read other reviews about it , but Angela did seem very pressing to have me and my boyfriend purchase a package and when we weren't interested in the packages she seemed really disappointed. I would come back here again for facials, but I think I would only do the $55 or the $65 facial. I'm going to check out a couple of other places still in the area before I call this place my it place. Although it seems like there are more cons than pros, Angela did do the best job with cleaning up your skin when it comes to extractions (compared to Beauty Queen and Facial Plus), which are the most important part to me. read more

Went to my first treatment with Angela a few weeks ago and it was pleasant. She's very nice and maybe because it was my first treatment, she explained EVERYTHING. Sometimes that was good, sometimes I really didn't know if she expected me to answer questions with all the stuff on my face. She talked a lot and asked a lot of questions about me, maybe so she could get a better idea of what type of environment I'm in or if I could really afford the package she sells. I had a lovely experience until she was trying hard to sell me her 10 treatment package for $550. I know if you calculated it the treatments are inexpensive at $55 for 90 minutes, but I don't like hard sells. At first when I said no, she ask why? Why not today? I just want to save you money. I understand, and that's great. But when I said no again, she was persistent and that didn't work well with me. read more

I've been coming to Angel Face every 2-3 weeks for about 3 months. My stress was wreaking havoc on my skin: clogged pores, dark eye circles, dry and blotchy redness. I'm now a dedicated customer because: - Angela and her team transformed my skin and worked magic on my dark circles - Treatments (90 min) are tailored to your needs every session, not a cookie cutter experience - Everyone here has excellent extraction technique (thorough, not too painful, I never break out after) - They give amazing (and generous for a facial) massages that are also tailored each time - The suggested products are very effective if you listen to instructions & take Angela's advice I had annoying under-the-jawline cystic acne that I was nervous about having "extracted". Angela confidently worked on it during one facial, recommended an herbal acne cream, and it virtually disappeared. It hasn't come back! Even during my period! Angela will not hold back telling you the effects of your lifestyle on your skin, which I appreciate: "You need to go to bed earlier. Stop eating sugar." She's 100% right, and when I'm "good" ;) and listen to her advice, I see results. I have no problem with her suggesting products or promoting packages to customers - I'm happy to support a female business owner doing excellent work with great customer service. Unlike other places that suggest the same brand/product to every customer, she actually tailors her recommendations to you, and every product I've tried has shown noticeable results. read more

I'm writing this review as I'm walking out. So I called in today around 1 pm to schedule an appointment for a facial. She says she can fit me in at 4 pm. I agree to come in at 4 pm. I come in at 3:45 & she has no recollection of making the appointment for me and tells me she cannot do my facial today. Thanks lady, I just wasted an hour of my life. I wouldn't suggest this place based on the non-professionalism alone! read more

So I bought a package and have been there a handful of times. I've had MANY facials in my lifetime and I think this place does a pretty good job for the price and it's super close to my house. I've seen some negative reviews about the "hard sell", I don't really think that is negative. I appreciate a solid sales effort, it's called business. If you don't like a hard sell you can say "please don't ask again, I will let you know if I want to buy a package". The 3.5 stars is because I think they have pretty good techniques, the place is small and cluttered, not very relaxing, noisy, but the price is fair. If they charged more, I wouldn't continue to come here. read more

I took a look in the mirror last night and realized that I desparately needed a facial! Thank goodness Angela was able to fit me into her schedule today. It was awesome! I've gotten facials at several other places in SF in the past, but none really stood out to me. So after considering several places listed on Yelp, I decided to go with Angel Face. I'm the type of person who likes to know what is being done to my face. Angela was very informative, honest, friendly and professional. I expressed my concerns and she really took her time to address my problem areas. We just straight into it and I got the full 90-minutes. I did read the reviews before going in, was expecting Angela to push on the packages and was ready to decline. However, I did not find her pushy at all! She simply stated her recommendations and offered the packages (i.e. 5 facials for $300 or 10 facials for $550). I opted for the 10 facials because it was too good of a deal to pass up and I really liked her services. It was a lot more than I expected spend today, but hey...it's a good investment...my face is so clean! She also recommended a serum to address one of my problems (being sold for $80)...I politely declined and that was the end of it...no pushing or shoving by Angela. OH...and the packages come with hand treatments! read more

I've been coming to Angel Face for years. Angela is the sweetest, and she's an all-around great esthetician and person. Not only does she remember every detail about the way my skin works, but also notices if I have any change in my skin care routine (without even telling her!) She's also very personable and takes a genuine interest in my life (which is great if you need to unload all the stress that's been building up mentally as well as physically--she gives great massages as well.) I would definitely recommend buying a package. The before and after results of her facials are instant and UH-MAZING. tldr; Angela's awesome. Go now. read more

One of my friends has been going to Angel Face for a while now and recommended Angela. I have never received a facial before, but wanted to try. I was really nervous, but Angela ended up being so amazing! She was super gentle and the facial treatment was super relaxing. There is a small amount of discomfort when she's doing the pore extraction portion of the facial, but I've done different types of body waxing, so the slight discomfort was nothing. There was also a mini shoulder massage, which was icing on the cake! Angela was so wonderful guiding me through the treatment and giving me advice on how to take better care of my skin. Afterwards, my face had an awesome glow and has continued to look good days after. I knew I was going to come back, so I bought the package deal for 5 sessions and scheduled my second appointment already! Highly recommended. Thank you Angela! read more
