What a surprisingly delightful find while strolling through Madrid tired and hungry. I ordered a cortado, avocado toast and water bottle for total of 7€. I find the prices to be extremely reasonable for the quality of the products. The toast had avocado, special cheese, seasonings and pine nuts. It was delicious and fueled me for hours. The cortado was very well made. This cafe sells coffee beans from a variety of South American countries, fresh herbs in glass containers, and a variety of teas. The proprietor is warm, welcoming and knowledgeable about his products. He also speaks English which was helpful to me with my high school Spanish hiding in my brain. The shop itself is small, well-organized and very clean. There are two tables and a few stools at the coffee bar. The aesthetic of the shop is reminiscent of one you might find in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. I throughly appreciate how the herbs, beans and coffee are presented on the shelves. There is a small, very clean bathroom. Overall, this is a Truly a unique cafe well worth a visit!! read more
