The iced banana latte is made with strong and flavorful coffee, with a caramelized bit of banana on top. My daughter had the Spanish sea salt latte which was also very good. Bakery items and sandwiches are also available for purchase. I settled on the avocado toast with some sprinkle of spices that I cannot recall. It was tasty. The tables nearby ordered dessert items like cheesecake and strawberry shortcake that looked delicious. Perfect spot for some delicious coffee, a place to chat and chill. Service was fast and friendly. They even spoke English. Order and pay at the register and then the food and drinks are brought to your table.

I was jet lagged and stumbled upon this place while looking at Yelp in the morning. I opted to order the Banana Coffee and Salmon Breakfast Bagel, which came out to roughly $22 USD. The coffee itself looked amazing, taste wise I would say it's good not great. I wish it had more banana sweetener or was creamier, but that's probably my American taste buds talking. The Salmon Breakfast Bagel was delicious, would order again. Overall I would say a good experience, they spoke English which was nice. Would I go again? Yes!

Everything is very planned and programmed, so if you're looking for a low key, Spanish-style cafe, this might not be the best place to start. The staff is friendly and almost all of them speak both English and Spanish. The seating area is large but sometimes there can be a line in front of the cafe waiting for a table. The food and pastries all look great but I only had the coffee, which was ok. Overall, not a bad place to stop by to grab a coffee or enjoy a quick breakfast.

Feliz was one of those places we didn't plan visiting, but we're glad we stumbled on it. Located on a charming cobblestone corner, this cozy little café has a sort of boho-chic vibe. Rustic white furniture, cement floors, and an inviting space that's perfect spot to relax while you grab your lite bites. Do know this isn't the spot where you linger for hours on end. Feliz is a non-laptop space- so eat what you gonna eat, drink what you gonna drink then get the hell out. After getting hooked on fresh-squeezed oj during our Morocco trip, we were excited to see it on the menu here. My twin sis and I ordered a glass each, while my other sisters went with iced coffee- one with coconut milk and the other with regular. We all enjoyed our drinks and the fresh oj was every bit refreshing. Service is friendly and Feliz turned out to be one of those unplanned finds that made our morning in Madrid just perfect.

It is funny, several months later, one of the last reviews I have to write for a trip that was now…read moreseveral months ago... one of the first places I stopped that trip, on our way to Portugal by way of an intentionally several day long "layover" in Madrid. I'm not normally a breakfast person, but, well, a lot changes when I'm on vacation, especially in cities so known for their food, and more specifically, their coffee and pastries. They do have a slightly confusing system for ordering - at least when I was there, the pastries are in the front and ordered individually from there, like a bakery, but if you're getting drinks to drink there, you have to sit down and wait for a waiter, then if you're getting both, get up again to buy pastries, which they will then put on your open tab. Thankfully, everyone spoke perfect English, so it was an easy enough explanation and process - still a bit weird though. And we still got our coffee orders in like 3 minutes. Coffee-wise, we tried their fancy "Dubai matcha latte", which was... very good, super flavorful, just slightly sweet (it came with a sugar packet if you wanted it sweeter, which it definitely didn't need to be.) Not sure it justified, to me personally, being so much more expensive than all the extremely affordable, less "specialty" drinks, but it was very good. Also a "bombon", a drink word I also learned that day, and then was sad when I didn't see it on the menus at any of the other coffee shops I stopped at, because it was quite good, and, again, also quite cheap. *Super* sweet, obviously, but great. (I was amused that that one *also* came with a sugar packet, which it *definitely* didn't need.) I also tried their chocolate croissant, which, yeah, wonderful. Their pastries are a bit pricier than the coffee drinks, but the croissant melts in your mouth, great chocolate, tons of it, and not, as is often the case with otherwise good chocolate croissants, only in the center. Chocolate actually everywhere. A great croissant. Would definitely be back here often, if I weren't thousands of miles away, normally.
