Amazing! So amazing we went twice in a week! Every item was on point, taste homemade and delicious, flavored to perfection, hot food, and yummy fresh drinks! No point in describing each delicious item, but I can tell you what I had; just know I licked my utensils and went back two days later! Jerk Tilapia, cabbage & onions, zucchini and peppers I would give this a 8/10 packed with flavor!

I seen this place in the area and definitely had to try it because I have been craving fish lol, the snapper was so good I loved the jerk flavor, I also got the jollof rice with it, I can say I've had better but it was cool the plantain's were really good! I definitely would eat there again, I did order it and still enjoyed everything!!

Food was ready in 5 minutes after ordering online in the parking lot. There is no cheese in this dish but it is still good. 4/10 spice level. Bit pricy, I'd value this at $8 but I paid $11

I'm happy to have found a Caribbean restaurant right down the road. Saw the reviews on Yelp, and had to try it. The location is a bit hidden behind some office buildings. You'll find it tucked away in a corner of the lot. They have a few seats outside as well as inside. I ordered to-go, but could see sitting in there for lunch. I was pleased with just about everything that I ordered, with the exception of the jerk wings. They were a bit soggy, didn't have as much of the jerk flavor I was looking for. The curry chicken (boneless), was well seasoned and paired nicely with the rice and peas. Overall, I was very happy with the food. Downsides...the wait was a bit long, which isn't always an issue if the food is good. I wasn't a fan of the ordering system. You have to place your order through a kiosk. I get that's what most places use these days, but I'm not a fan. I like to be able to order with a human so I can ask questions and make any special request if needed. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Always a plus! They have unique business hours, so be sure to check that before heading over.

Friday evening. Tried to call ahead to order and no one answered. They were busy. It was difficult to find and persistence found this restaurant in the back of an office complex. Orders are placed at a small kiosk. I asked someone for help w my order and she told me to wait and never came to help me. Ordered oxtail and whittling fish curry. Ordered a shrimp entree that looked nothing like the picture. Mentioned to the owner and he made it better. Jerk whiting a bit dry. Wouldn't order this again. The pies were amazing. Tried 3 of them (chicken, shrimp). If in a hurry order online ahead of time. I will try this place again.

I came to Anegada Delights and was overwhelmed by all the menu selections. So many choices! I decided to try 4 different items. Jerk Mac and cheese: creamy and delicious with good jerk seasoning. My one criticism, I'd like the cheesiness to be thicker. I found it a bit runny. Vegetarian Roti: this was filled with chickpeas and potatoes with curry. The flavor was delicious and probably my favorite of the four items. I would like to see more potato in the filling however. Boneless curry chicken platter: this came with a nicely tender curried chicken and I chose the side of rice and peas and plantain. This platter was very good. Lunch special: brown stewed chicken with rice and peas and salad. This was my least favorite only because I'm biased by my sister in law's brown stew chicken. I prefer the flavor of hers more. With that said, the chicken was tender I look forward to going back and trying more menu items. There is a large selection of vegetarian and vegan options. The owner Lee was very friendly and accommodating. My order was to go but there is indoor and outdoor seating available. This place is only open Monday- Friday. No weekends. Also, I've heard that once items run out for the day, that's it. So if you have your mind set on something specific, you may want to call ahead to be sure they have it. No

I ordered for the first time today via door dash. It was hot and delicious! I recommend the rock city shrimp, jollof rice, macaroni and cheese, and jerk beef patty. If you looking for some food with flavor try them out! I will be ordering again soon.

    Whiting Fish Jerk combo

I came here for takeout lunch after reading the amazing Yelp reviews online. The food was soooooo good! Coincidentally, the day after getting takeout here, I learned from a coworker that Anegada is an island in the Caribbean. I had no idea this was the name of an island....learn something new everyday... I ordered the whiting fish jerk combo with rice and beans and plantains. The plantains were very flavorful and soft texture. The fish jerk had amazing spices and it paired perfectly with the mildly seasoned rice and beans. I wasn't even that hungry but I finished all of the fish and plantains and maybe half the rice and beans. Not only did the food taste good, it looked picture perfect! I cannot wait to be back in Columbia and I'd love to try all the other different dishes they offer.

Randomly came across this business on google maps, wasn't even searching for food! Been wanting to try Caribbean in the area and was so excited seeing the great reviews. Totally lived up to it- the food came out fast and it was so easy to order on the tablet. I got the boneless spicy jerk chicken which comes with two sides- i chose plantains and rice with peas. The portion was good and spice level was perfect. Pretty spacious inside although the location was a bit hidden in the corner of the office buildings. Would definitely recommend!

I had the jerk chicken Mac, jerk chicken sandwich, and the sorrel n ginger smoothie. Let's just say the food did not get a chance to be captured on my phone. It was delicious. The service was on point as well. This is a gem in Columbia, MD.

All good things come to those who wait! Which is definitely the motto for this place. This restaurant is a true hidden gem and I'm so glad I was able to find it by looking through Yelp. Went here on a Friday night with my family and we were able to find a table inside to enjoy our meal. We ordered on iPads by the register and waited about 30 minutes for our food. I ordered the oxtail with a side of rice and peas and plantains and let me tell you!!!! Let's just say I'll be coming here again! My mom and sister had the jerk chicken and mac and cheese which they liked as well. Pro tip: If you're in a hurry, order in advance and come to pick up! I will say however, the food is best when it's fresh off the grill.

I know there's a running joke that if a Jamaican restaurant has good service, the food isn't good or vice versa. That is not true here! The service is good and the food is good. I recently stopped by on a Saturday night to check out "Limin' Saturdays." Yes there's a bar on the side. There's even an outdoor space with an igloo set up. How cool! The DJ was great. The vibe is definitely a nice set: great Jamaican music , good energy, and a perfect local spot to grab food (and a rum punch). Service was solid, fast and pleasant. The food is set up buffet/express style, but there's seating available if you want to eat in. I ordered the oxtail plate and it was pretty good, but I wasn't overly impressed. The meat wasn't as tender as I expected. My partner, however, loved the baked salmon, so I wouldn't mind circling back to try that. It's located in downtown Laurel, so street parking is available. Also, it's a Jamaican spot, so expect the music to be LOUD. Overall, a solid local spot with a fun atmosphere.

This place never disappoints…read more I've been here multiple times -- with family, on dates, and with friends -- and it's always a great experience. This most recent visit was with a friend who was trying it for the first time, and he loved it. The food was delicious as always. He had the arroz con pollo (which I recommended), and I had the camarones al ajillo -- shrimp in garlic sauce with rice, salad, and plantains. Everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The bartenders were so pleasant and attentive. We sat at the bar, and even though it was crowded (which it usually is -- a good sign!), the service was still great. Now let's talk about the drinks because they were the real stars:    *   My friend had three mango margaritas and couldn't stop talking about how good they were.    *   I tried the cucumber jalapeño margarita -- you could literally smell the fresh cucumber as they made it. It did not hold back on the jalapeño! It had a real kick, but the flavor was amazing.    *   And the mojitos? Delicious. They use real sugarcane, and you can taste the freshness. Great vibes, great service, consistently amazing food and drinks. I will absolutely keep coming back and always recommend this place.

I appreciate that the food is made to order -- it was piping hot! The cabbage and jerk chicken were alright, but I was disappointed to see rice instead of mac and cheese. I would recommend checking your food before leaving to avoid this issue from occurring. But a sample size at best 7 out of 10 (the pieces given is comical, I will share a photo); the oxtails skip it 5 out of 10 (the gravy is not thick, too much fat on the oxtail, not tender looks and taste more like a stew); the stew chicken 7 out of 10 seasoned well but again portion size; the Snapper.......3 out of 10; and last but not least I tried the Bake and Saltfish, 6 out of 10 (I don't think it was fresh "fresh", but would try again). I would say if you want to order ahead, use the website, sometimes the photo doesn't work properly. I've tried calling while inside and the phone did not ring. Not for the bad and ugly. The food here is very expensive compared to other Caribbean spots. The portion sizes are extremely small. There should is not reason a beef Pattie and CoCo bread is $10. I think it's a price gouge because there are no other Caribbean restaurants in the area. Also, it's unclear whether the food is cooked there or not but when you order most times they'll microwave the food in the plastic container it comes in. You can ask them not to microwave it and the food is not piping hot.
