Today was almost 98 in Cerritos again. My hubby and I…read moredecided to go to North Italia during happy hour. There were so many customers this afternoon. Happy Friday!!! So busy.... I noticed happy hour menu was changed. No more margherita pizza. Only flat bread for the appetizer. Dissapointed! Our server was Jacob, he suggested us to get lunch course fixe menu $25 per person which were one appetizer w small plate, 1 entrée. They had many selections of appetizers and entrées. We chose Charcuterie, Italian crispy risotto ball called Cacio e pepe arancini as 2 appetizers. For 2 entrées, parpadelle bolonese and tie dye Margherita pizza w pesto drizzle. It was so flavorful to taste the crispy risotto balls and charcuterie w prosciutto, olive, cheese, and etc. We loved bolonese parpadelle. Give 5 stars. We ordered tie dye margherita pizza for the first time, it was not good. Very oily and ruined the original pizza taste. I asked our server to make real margherita pizza w pesto sauce on the side. Finally it came completely back to original taste. Happy day!! Sometimes the chef developed the new flavors but simple and original recipe was the best in my experience. Today we both were so happy to taste the new menu, lunch course fixe menu until 4 daily. Great price, great deal, and great taste....Great service. We were sooooo full and took entire pizza and pasta to home for next day. We really enjoyed our afternoon thanks to North Italia. Loved lunch course fixe and happy hour. Great Italian restaurant near our home is more advantage. Recommend everyone for the beers, pizzas, and pastas....awesome!

All of these river trails are an excellent way to ride a bike a long distance and not have to compete with the cars on the street! For that reason alone, I give this trail five stars. Plus the trail from Katella to Marina Drive was newly paved this year (2012). The Coyote Creek Bike Path merges with the San Gabriel Trail at the bridge crossing just South of Katella. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/san-gabriel-river-bike-trail-seal-beach?select=y2m_leYu9H4av0S043GHGA&userid=RoGuDu1egfAvVgb4WmZwUw&utm_campaign=www_photo_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) This is where the canal always has an ocean water level and some wildlife habitat. You will most likely see pelicans there. Heading South, you will pass by the Haynes Steam Power Plant between 7th and 2nd Street. At night, the lights from the Power Plant illuminate the trail. After going under PCH, the trail seems to end at Marina Drive. But if you cross Marine Drive, the San Gabriel River Trail actually goes anther half mile or so and ends up at the Rivers End Café. http://www.yelp.com/biz/rivers-end-caf%C3%A9-seal-beach-2?utm_campaign=www_business_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) If you go back to Marina Drive, you can take it to go around Alamitos Bay Marina and head for the Shoreline Pedestrian Bike Path to the Queen Mary! http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/san-gabriel-river-bike-trail-seal-beach?select=4sIxunB7Brmbzk0TlFLKQw&userid=RoGuDu1egfAvVgb4WmZwUw&utm_campaign=www_photo_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) After Alamitos Bay Marina you will take a left at 2nd Street, a left at Bay Shore Avenue and another left at 54th Place, which will take you right to the beginning of the Shoreline Pedestrian Bike Path. This trail will take you by the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool, through Shoreline Village, go around the Aquarium of the Pacific and end at the Catalina Express. If you haven't had enough miles by then or you forgot that you have to ride back... you can stay to your left after you go around the Catalina Express and catch the Los Angeles River Bicycle Path!

Used to be able to call Sheriff Dept and give info they'd provide a temp overnight parking permit. Now they've automated with online application and I've spent 3 hours trying to obtain an overnight parking permit. It's not working due to software issues & there's no one to assist after business hours. I Called Cerritos Sheriff and they said if you get a ticket take it up with parking enforcement. You'd think in an emergency situation for parking the city would have a go to plan for it's citizens. Very Disappointed how insensitive the City of Cerritos has turned into when it comes to assisting it's citizens in emergency circumstances.

During the holy/holidays of 2005, I experienced violent assault on my life: 42 stab wounds. I was in a coma for two months. My rehabilitation depended on multi factors. I could not drive anymore. Walking was the norm to daily mass, library, park, shopping, and then I discovered your center. I was so struck by the hospitality: in particular Teresa and Anna exuded warmth and empathy. Then I met Irene who recognized me from daily mass: loving joy+ I loved Cinco de Mayo celebration: wow...lunch & entertainment!!! Recently, I visited again, this time introducing another church member. I knew she was in for a treat. She, Maria, and her friend Maria, picked me up. Sure enough...IRENE and TERESA THERE WITH 10+++++++ VOLUNTEER RECEPTION. Then another surprise...Maria, extraordinaire Zumba instructor, was facilitating class. I first met Maria at neighborhood park; was so impressed with her energy and enthusiasm. I am now even more excited for my friend said she too is interested in the class and will drive us there. My miraculous life keeps getting better and better. So, Wednesday at HG Senior Center for Zumba/Lunch is on!!! I am also hopeful that my friend will be able to go to the computer class to get help with her smart cell phone. It is amazing how hard modern technology is! God Bless You All. Prayers daily+++ Respectfully, MJG Posted YELP Copies Notables

This was important to me. Jeanine took the time to listen to what I was looking for and suggested a few things to help grow my idea. I loved that. She came over and was so kind and really took time to understand this was more than just a job; this was something my kid is going to grow up with. She took measurements, and even took color swatches of the carpet and furniture to make sure we matched the color palette! She quickly mocked something up and a few days later I had a photoshopped mockup for approval. Once we approved it we setup a date and I paid the deposit. Marcus was the artist that was assigned to this project. He was so kind and wonderful in my home. He let my wife and I peek and see progress, and would check in with me if he had any questions. He's a really talented artist and executed my vision faithfully. At the end of the day my wife cried (with joy), we have our incredible mural and I couldn't recommend this company enough. Really pleased with how it turned out and I will be calling them again for my next mural or art project.
