Gave the benefit of the doubt.. came here for the first time and it was awful. I asked for a mid-high skin fade and this was what was presented to me. I've been looking for a barber bc my old barber doesn't cut anymore. There was another customer waiting ahead of me so I didn't want to waste his time. Terrible blend, terrible fade. It looks like someone took a pencil and drew a curvature on my head. Where's the fade??? Overall didn't make me feel satisfied for what I paid for, I tip my people well too. Usually this barbershop is my go to and the best place to get a decent cut at a decent price point. However, the last time I visited, I want to the location in Fountain Valley. It has moved from the older location, but just around the corner so that was no big deal. The issue however came down to my haircut itself. I had asked for a low skin fade with a trim from the barber I got matched up with. The conversation was nice, but the work of the actual haircut left me disappointed. It was so uneven and poor that people at my job asked what had happened to my fade, my wife even noticed the uneven job done on my haircut. On top of that, the haircut took literally 12 minutes. I've attached some photos, because I couldn't believe it myself. For $40, I expected a much better cut, and instead was left with something I could've gotten a friend to do for nothing. I hope there is a way to mend this, now that I've let my hair grow out, but honestly, I want a refund for receiving a $10 haircut for $40. read more

I've been to Andy's cuts in fountain valley but it was my first time in this location. I came here because it's relatively close to the yoga studio I go to. I made an appointment with Joey and got my usual combover with a hard part. He actually pointed out to me that my hair grows the opposite way of my combover and I never knew LOL. definitely disappointed after being a customer 3 years I made an appointment and I came a little late. He told me he wouldn't take me so we changed it to a different day. I came this time to get my haircut first of all he raised the price to $55. rate which is outrageous without getting a beard or a wash I didn't even get offered coffee or tea or anything he's trying to be luxury but the service is very mediocre. I wish he would understand that he has a lot of talent but he needs to remember I was with him when he started in my opinion, this haircut is not worth more than $30 $55 a rip off especially when you don't get that luxury service you think you're getting this time the fade came out really bad and I'm definitely not coming back read more
