An inflamed muscle. I pulled something or pushed something wrong during a training run. And now after seeing Rena Bissessar and the people at Vissers Physical Therapy, I feel much better. Expertise, efficiency, humanity -- Vissers is the dream package for PT. Currently, I'm progressing through the care plan, doing the stretches at home, and having a few followups ... but then only for what is necessary. And that's incredible -- past experiences with PT have always been a bit more hit-or-miss and my own comprehension of what needed to be done to get better. And a lot of PT places felt like they weren't really looking to help, they were looking to bill my insurance. Not so with Vissers! This could have been a real challenge, but the folks at Vissers have been invariably kind and caring. It's been a journey, to say the least -- and having good people beside you at every step is essential. This is what we got at Vissers. Everyone we've interacted with at Vissers has been lovely, but particular praise is due to my mom's individual therapist Rena Bissessar, who has pushed her when she needed pushing, been understanding with her when she needed understanding, and gotten her a long way in an astonishingly short time toward being back on her feet again. Thanks to Ginny and Asha, my hips are so much stronger. Just as important, they taught me exactly what to keep doing at home so I can maintain the progress and keep improving. I'm now continuing pelvic floor physical therapy with Asha, and it has been incredibly helpful (to say the least!). Pelvic floor PT is so much more than I ever realized. I learn something new every session, and I've already noticed real improvements in my day-to-day life. Eddie at the front desk is always friendly and really helpful, and everything runs smoothly when it comes to scheduling and visits. My choice for PTS was based upon my surgeon's and friend's recommendations. My first visit I was thoroughly evaluated by Dr. Mark Mac Gregor and scheduled for a 2x week program. Dr. Mark immediately took charge in seeing that my care was gentle (this was a painful surgery) yet progressive. After the first month, I was handed off to another staff member who equally helped in my recovery. It was very clear that Dr. Mark was constantly monitoring my progress. After 6 months of the programmed activity, Dr. Mark evaluated my progress and I was discharged. On the very first day, I received an evaluation which the front desk charged me $80 for. I continued going a few weeks after and had no problems until I started paying for an hour of physical therapy and was getting sent home 10/15 minutes early every time. Because of this, I stopped going (my last visit was around 1/29/25). Two months later (on 3/27/25), I receive a bill for $35. I called the billing department and spoke to the rudest person I have ever encountered on a phone call. I politely asked why I was being charged $35 when I was paying up front before each session every time and she said it was because I received therapy the day I got the evaluation. Firstly, I did not receive any therapy. They had me stand on one foot and balance for like 30 seconds and then had me do some stretches that lasted no more than 5 minutes. I was then sent home and assumed that was a part of the "evaluation." I visited about five more times after this and was never informed that I owed money for therapy from the first day. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very argumentative and just kept saying that I owe $35 because I received therapy on the evaluation day which I did not. I actually insisted that THEY owe me money for sending me home early every time I went. I would also like to note that although $35 is not a lot, it is the principle of the matter that they are requesting this two months later and did not say a single word to me when I continued visiting after the initial visit. Again, there was no therapy performed on this day and if anything, it lasted no more than 5 minutes. I would advise anyone requiring orthopedic therapy to take their business elsewhere and do NOT go to Cora Physical Therapy.

My son has been a part of LT for a full year now and truthfully this review is overdue because Little Tesla has exceeded my expectations from my first contact with the clinic when I first had general inquiries as I had to search for local therapies as soon as my son received his Autism diagnosis. I remember my sons psychiatrist gave me 3 pages full (front and back) of local clinics, and Little Tesla was the ONLY clinic that was thorough, and detailed as well as providing additional peace of mind as this was going to be my son's first exposure to an open social setting outside of home. All that to say my son now attends ABA 4x a week with included Speech & Occupational Therapy. At first we started with only Speech Occupational Therapy as there was just a small wait list to be established in their ABA program. We waited roughly under 3M as we joined in the summer time, and by August my son was already enrolled. I'd like to specifically highlight the care of the RBTs, my son and our family has had the pleasure of working with such as Nate, Dina, Naire, Anna, Marie, Jaz, Angelique, Amanda, and Kirstie. Gosh, I forgot the names of the few others we've worked with in passing, but they are all truly amazing individuals who have reassured me that they take great care of my son while supporting him fully during each session. I'd even go as far as saying that they have felt like an extension of family, as they've grown to really love my son too (it's hard not to since he's so bubbly) but for all of the RBTs you can tell they love what they do. In the full year my son has made AMAZING progress. I can confidently say my son's speech has improved, as well as both his social and behavioral development. Ms. Joyce I'd also like to give credit to as Emory's speech therapist, she has the most kindred spirit, and because of her my son can speak in fuller sentences now, identify himself, state his address etc. I could sit here singing their high praises for hours, but aside from the RBTs that work with my son everyday. The administrative staff, management, BCBAs and owners are all incredibly kind, and personable! Just to drop some names Aleema, Jasmine, Ashley, Andjela, Victoria, and Vesna. These ladies have now a special place in my heart because they all are so compassionate in their approach, never mind the clinic itself, with the recent expansion I was blown away to see how the new clinic goes above and beyond to provide even further support for daily living skills, behavioral, social needs and more! LT has become our home away from home and I leave my son here 4 days a week with full faith and trust in the entire staff here because they are truly amazing. Thank you thank you thank you.
