Other dentists have been a disaster. Dr. Walters had solutions to all of my problems and the training and technology to make it happen. When I needed to get cavities replaced he knew to shrink the nerve first before putting on a permanent filling. My previous dentist did not and I ended up with a root canal. Dr Walters had a simple modern appliance for my teeth grinding, my previous dentists wanted to sell me a complicated 'old' style appliance. As a result of all of my experience with Dr. Walters, he's the only dentist I've ever trusted 100%.

I first went to this Climic because I wanted to get a second opinion for some dental work. I had…read moreconsulted in Ottawa, and I heard that prices on the Quebec side might be a little less expensive, and that my dental insurance would cover me in another province. I first had a consult with a Denturologiste, who took photos and measurements and spoke to me about solutions for missing teeth and improving my smile. The consult was free of charge, and I ended up getting a free x-ray, which the dentist could use if I chose to get an exam. The staff at the reception were über-friendly, so I managed to get a cleaning later that same day. I had a young & professional hygienist do a very thorough cleaning and she again took photos with a small device to show me things in my mouth I'd never seen! I waited a bit for the dentist, and though he looked "imposing" at first, his smile was comforting and he spoke English very well. He checked my x-rays, showed which cavities were priorities, which ones could wait, and why. I felt more like his colleague rather than just another client to "drill & fill". I got an estimate for the work, which I could then check with my insurer. The secretaries said I could call back for an appointment when I wanted & that there would be no problems. The electronic insurance submission responded immediately and all I had to pay was a 25$ fee for my first transaction. All in all, for a (dreaded) trip to the dentist, I was pleasantly surprised. His past 2 years with braces went by quickly, all we had to do was go once a month for tightening and he had little to no pain during the appointments. The appointments were mostly only 15 minutes and my son was able to continue his tasks for the rest of the day. The environment of Dr. Sim's office is very clean and organized, whenever we came, he had everything ready for us. Dr. Sim was also very friendly towards my son and us as parents, he always had exciting conversations with us. The office also provided my son with many expensive tools for free to help align his teeth. Overall I had a 5-star experience with this office, due to their organization and commitment towards my son's braces, he now feel very confident and have a gorgeous, perfect smile.

Incompetent is putting it mildly. My daughter had acid get in her eye when they were working on…read moreher. She told the girl something was burning her eye. She was ignored and told that is impossible. She complained several times more and was ignored. They didn't look out for the patient and take safety steps to rinse her eye and other spots on her lip. She had to make an emergency eye appointment where the eye dr. confirmed damage to her eye and gave her 2 medications to help heal the damage to her eye. Beware, huge lack of care for you as a patient.

Dr. Wakter has rescued me on several painful occasions.  On one case, his immediate intervention allowed me to proceed with urgent cancer surgery a few days later. Krystal and Candice make everyone feel genuinely welcome. They prepare and submit all the forms for quick insurance claims. They even check in at home,  after extensive dental proceedures, to make sure I'm ok.  Awwww. Candice helps patients by showing relaxing animal videos to distract while getting frozen or when she is taking XRays. Brenda makes getting your teeth cleaned a happy event.  I've never had more fun being "picked on" and always leave with shiny white teeth.
