Jesse Schwenker was super helpful! I had a clogged kitchen sink and he did everything he could to unclog it starting with the snake. Although the snake worked, the camera through the pipe showed that there was too much build up and it really needed the hydro jet. He called for help from 2 other guys (Danny Fernandez) who took their time (1.5 hours) to clear out all of the grease. I would definitely recommend and use them again! read more

Broc A. was timely, patient and knowledgeable. He was very pleasant to have in our home and worked with us to get our older AC & Heating system working properly and affordably even though it had not been serviced in a while. I would recommend him again, he represents his company well. read more

Isaiah Givens was professional, knowledgable, generous with his time and extremely helpful. When his team - lead by Danny - showed up the next day to do the work needed, they were efficient and did a great job. They were also articulate about what they were doing, explaining everything. Everyone was courteous and hardworking. We're grateful we called Andrus. There's no doubt they're the ones we'll call the next time we need help. read more

John R. always does a great job during his visits. He tuned up our AC, swapped out the filter and replaced the UV on the air scrubber. John has been helping us out for the last 8+ years; always good work. We're ready for the hot summer now that he has tuned up the AC. Thanks John. read more

We have had Andrus here many times to fix and repair those annoying leaks etc. which occasionally arise. They are quick to respond and always do the job right the first time. Dallas (the repair man) has been so friendly and knowledgable! It feels so good to deal with professionals like these folks! I highly recommend Andrus and give them 5 stars! read more

Professional and on time. Fixed my leak immediately. I could not be happier. Two plumbers came to my house same day. Had the right part on their truck. Walla! My leak was fixed. read more

Egregiously expensive- unless you legitimately do not care about money, look elsewhere for your plumbing needs They snaked a simple drain and charged just shy of $400... I have a camera in front of my house. The guy spent a total of 18 minutes on my property. I actually feel like I was robbed and want to file a formal complaint. Editing to 2 stars instead of 1 because they did actually fix what I needed fixed read more

I was desperate for a plumber today. They promised they would come and unclog a sink between 4:00-6:00. They were no shows so I had to call and leave a message with an operator wondering where they were. They called back 45 minutes after they promised to be at my house to tell me they were not coming. So disappointing! read more

The water issues on the coast are well known. Andrus has come within hours to repair pinhole leaks and always done a thorough, efficient and cost effective job. We also had them replace twin ejection pumps, no small job, and it was done with timeliness and care. These guys are my go to; for the last leak, they responded and were at the door in 90 minutes saving me much damage and anxiety. Highly recommend. read more

How do I contact Andrus Plumbing? I called tonight (3/31/21 around 5PM). Someone answered claiming to be their "answering service". She was refusing to let us speak to anyone at Andrus plumbing unless we paid her a fee. How do we get through to Andrus to get plumbing work? Is there a different number to call? I think the 8096 number might of been taken by a scam. read more

Andrus plumbing & heating went way above and beyond to resolve issues w my Rheem water heater. Julie and Dallas were extremely responsive, on time, reliable and following all safety protocols during Covid-19. I reached out to them after Rheem had sent a different plumbing company and I won't go into specifics but called the manufacturer and requested I use my plumber. Julie even had to call Rheem and wait 20 minutes on hold to get through to them so they would ship parts to me and when they said the parts would arrive in 2-4 days she said no we'll pay to have them overnighted. I called several times bc of various parts needed and every time she dispatched someone to my house as quickly as possible. Thanks you have won a customer for life. Thanks John read more

TOO EXPENSIVE!!! $375/hour!!! I'm kicking myself for not looking for a more reasonably priced service. I paid $250 for 40 minutes of snaking to remove a clog in my kitchen sink. (That's a rate of $375/hour!) My technician claimed plumbers, like doctors and lawyers, need a lot of training, and that's what I'm paying for. I will not be using this service ever again. read more

These Guy's are FANTASTIC!! Called Andrus Plumbing on the day before Christmas Eve, they were super friendly and were here in just 20 minutes. It was a simple fix. And they did it for free!! Undoubtedly the BEST Plumbing Company around! I recommend them to everyone :-) read more

I wish there was an option for 6 stars+. This company is outstanding! I have used them several times over the years and they have literally saved me every time. They go out of there way to make every experience amazing and comfortable. They have even done the impossible for me. They installed a stove top and a gas line which wasn't part of the plan, the day before thanksgiving. They are amazing. I will never use anyone else. The receptionist, Julie is so helpful and on it and Ryan is probably the most helpful, positive plumber I have ever met. read more

Andrus rescued us from a horrid company that was spending days on plumbing under a sink hole in our driveway; I fired the "better priced" company and Andrus had it taken care of within a day. Since then, I've never bothered to call around to price shop because I learned an important lesson: reliability is the best value. Today, I called for a broken heater, and since Andrus was unable to make it out today, Julie actually referred me to someone else. That's right--she put MY needs first. This company is top-notch. read more

Andrus did an awesome job putting my gas line for tankless water heater and dryer. My house was all electric when built and the gas saves me a lot on money each month. read more

Lance and those that work for him are the best. Having your sewer pipe open and your front yard and patio dug up is no fun. Lance is right there to fix it and take care of the project. Lance is great with the inspectors. Thank you all at Andrus Plumbing read more

I thought I would support a local business. I have called other plumbers in the past. This company charged 2.5X what I have been charged by other companies for the same service. DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE GAUGED. read more

Ryan came out and gave us some great advice regarding our water heater. He is extremely knowledgeable and really knows his stuff! When the time comes to replace our heater, we'll be sure to use him/Andrus. read more

Called Andrus for a small "fix it" problem with a toilet handle. Andrus showed up on the same day we called and on time. Completed the job in less than 10 minutes. Refused to take payment!!! Imagine that! Great experience! Will call them again. read more

Kate is right. They refused to give mean estimate to unclog my sink over the phone. When they showed up they wanted $250 (are they out of their minds?). I then found OC Rooter on Craigslist who's ad clearly stated their $75 charge. They were here within an hour and quickly and professionally solved the problem. No up charge or add ons even though Fernando had to cut and repair a pipe. The only reason Andrus got a Star is they were quick to show up for the "Highway Robery". read more

Andrus plumbing does a great job. Jamie and Steve are great plumbers and June and The office staff are great. They respond quick and are fair. Thank you! read more

I called on a very hot day and they had a tech out in 30 minutes. His name was Justin and he did a great job. Good thing he also was an electrician as the issue was with the circuit panel. Highly recommended read more

Here in Laguna Beach we have our share of small streets. If an out-of-town plumber parked their truck so as to make the rest of the street impassable, we might be able to forgive it. If a big ANDRUS truck is blocking the street, it just does not seem right since they are from here. My neighbor had a big argument with the Andrus plumber just to get him to move his truck so he could get by. I heard that, and called their office. The receptionist was extremely rude, completely took the side of the driver, and hung up on me. Laguna is just too small of a town for this kind of thing to happen. I am sure everyone there is nice when you are giving them your credit card and they are working for you. If you are too busy to care about not blocking streets here then your are just too busy for the rest of this town. read more

This has been my best experience with a local plumbing company. From my understanding, Andrus Plumbing have been in business for over 70 years and that speaks volumes. Their customer service is exceptional and honest. They quickly completed the job and the final bill was under the original quote as well.. I will definitely use them again! read more

Lance and his associate did a great job testing my shower and shower drain pipe for leaks. They found no leak whatsoever. Prompt, courteous and highly skilled, I am very pleased with Andrus Plumbing and Heating. I will strongly recommend this company to others. read more

In my opinion, this is the BEST plumbing company in Laguna Beach! We had a broken pipe that was flooding our house late on Friday night. Julie the office manager was great to work with through my entire process. She was accessible through their regular office number after hours and she quickly arraigned for a plumber to be at our house within 35 minutes. Lance showed up on time to my Temple Hills Drive home and was the most knowledgeable and professional plumber I have ever dealt with. He gave me a quote for the work before he started the investigation as what exactly was creating the flood.. When he found the problem he gave me the updated estimate. They fixed the problem(s) quickly for what I believe was a reasonable and competitive cost. This company will be my first call for all my future plumbing needs. read more

Stay Far Far Away unless you enjoy being gouged. They came out for what amounted to be a brief repair less than 2 miles from their home base and hammered my property manager for $295. There are many more options and they're not hard to find. read more

I needed emergency installation of a new water heater. They quoted $2150.00 and installed a Rheem water heater promptly in about three hours.I got curious and I checked the price of this water heater and it ranged between 600-700 dollars. That works out to about $1400.00 for installation! Needless to say,I felt pretty disgusted at their extortionist rates. read more

I received a terrible service from this company. I called to get a shower leak fixed. It took the plumber about 15 minutes to fix it, and he charged us $250. My wife was at home when the plumber came and she paid the bill, so I don't know if it is because she is a woman that he felt like he could rip her off. I called to complain about the overcharging and they told me their service fee was $250. That's their base price, so it can't be any cheaper than $250. I had a plumber fix a leak before and it cost me about $50. I think what Andrus plumbing did to us is unacceptable and unethical. I will never go back there for business and will advise all my friends against it. read more
